READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
With an energetic audience set to pour into the "Piers Morgan Live" studio, this evening the program will welcome a collection of experts, analysts and media personalities, all charged with placing the days most-polarizing topics into perspective.
Three days since a California gunman led authorities on a fatal rampage, and one days since a fifth victim was pronounced dead as a result of the Santa Monica shootings, tonight Piers Morgan will speak live with Russell and Debra Fine in an exclusive interview from their home. Shot four times, it's believed that Debra's life was sparred by a matter of inches, and tonight, alongside her husband, she'll tell her story in an exclusive live interview.
Meanwhile, as Washington and the White House continue to defend themselves against recent revelations of data-mining, one-time presidential candidate Ron Paul will share his insight and opinion, while former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer adds some context to a practice that is believed to have existed when he worked for then-President George W. Bush. Also, CNN correspondent Barbara Starr will join the program live from D.C. with the latest information.
And, as jury selection begins in the highly anticipated George Zimmerman trial, tonight Piers Morgan will be joined for a face to face conversation with the defendants brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr.
This evening's visit marks a return to the program for Zimmerman Jr., as past visits have seen him discuss his brother's morality, and his own recent social media offerings.
Tune in at 9 as a live audience participates in a program that figures to touch upon a handful of news-making topics.

If you're going to talk about Snowdon, then think about our Mountain and reach a little higher!"
Snowdon is hit......... No matter what he thought he betrayed the countries trust........ Hes not getting out of it...Americans don't need to know everything when they want to know it. We always find out down the road...He should have thought a little harder how to present his case. wrong way..... hes hit!
Your argument in reverse – my government does not need to know everything I do; everyone I talk to; everywhere I drive; how far; how much I spend; what I spend it on; and the most important and worrisome, they do not need to know where I go to Church.
And...the government did not need to buy heavy armored vehicles for DHS use (against us?) and 760,000,000 rounds of ammo. Per capita, that's 10X more ammo per person than we were issued in the military.
why do you not highllght ron paul's name..you prople are totally laughable..thank you
I appreciate you having Ron Paul on your show! However, someone at your station might want to correct the typo "one-time Presidential candidate." He ran thrice :)
I can't wait to hear what the good Dr. has to say. Thanks again for including him!
The fact that mass shootings are becoming a semi-annual event in this country is disturbing. Yet another madman exercising his 2nd amendment rights to own and operate an assault weapon. I thought 20 dead kids in Connecticut was enough, but apparently it takes much more to open closed minds.
you have to stop the folks in DC from taking Bribes from NRA before something CAN be Done till then get use to seeing nuts running around with guns killing our families.
That's because Mr. pebbles that everyone and their brother shout out the 1st and 2nd amendment when they are challenged and everyone thinks they are right and their more important than every other American and their family....
Our great ( genious forefathers that are human never heard or thought about playing with our guns as a hobby , the phone , CELL PHONES, Computers and the INTERNET in 1776.... the amendments don't cover that. It has to be debated , legislated and laws wrote. Not to peoples conveinance...................!
More people are hit by lightning than are killed by rifles. Ban lightning?
Your false equivalency is a logical fallacy, and does nothing to solve the problem at hand.
Wes said " dumb dumb" Wow, we are and will track your hand guns and assult weapons wesly! you can count on that! darling! move out of your parents basement!!
Ah ha ha O.K we'll ban lightning Patrick!!!!!!! stupido............
Enough said, play with your Legos!
"More killed by lightning than RIFLES" ..oh sure..more people killed by Tigers than Chipmunks..but then lets get back to REALITY: MORE PEOPLE KILLED BY GUNS IN THE USA than anywhere else in the world ! There's a reality check for you.
Why not ban alcohol, isn't it to blame for all these statistics? "Death – 5,000 people under age 21 die each year from alcohol-related car crashes, homicides, suicides, alcohol poisoning, and other injuries such as falls, burns, and drowning. Serious injuries – More than 190,000 people under age 21 visited an emergency room for alcohol-related injuries in 2008 alone." (http://www.niaaa.nih.gov/alcohol-health/special-populations-co-occurring-disorders/underage-drinking) "The harmful use of alcohol results in 2.5 million deaths each year. 320 000 young people between the age of 15 and 29 die from alcohol-related causes, resulting in 9% of all deaths in that age group. Alcohol is the world’s third largest risk factor for disease burden; it is the leading risk factor in the Western Pacific and the Americas and the second largest in Europe. (http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs349/en/)
Alan, the more restrictive gun laws the UK passed, their deaths via gun rate stayed about the same, but their violent crime rate increased. The UK's violent crime rate is far higher than the U.S.' rate.
If you look at the U.S. numbers, most gun deaths are due to a limited range of people in limited areas. Such as "gun-free zone" Chicago. But gun banners don't like to talk about Chicago's crime and death. Nor do they like to talk about how so many gun deaths are from gang activity. And they certainly don't like to talk about the estimated 2.5 million times a year a gun is used to prevent crime.
It's not Joe American causing all the gun deaths. It's a pretty limited group of people that put up the big numbers. And those people probably don't bother trying to pass background checks nor bother getting carry permits. Yet for some reason gun banners want to blame Joe American.
Banning lightning makes as much sense as what typical gun banners propose. More people are hit by lightning each year than killed by all rifles. Yet all the crazy people want to ban "assault" rifles. And then after that they'll want to ban the rest of them.
People such as yourselves don't actually care about saving lives or protecting children. You just want to ban guns. That's why you want people to send their kids to "gun-free zones" every day where they are unprotected because only law-abiding people care about that "no guns allowed" sign on the door. Criminals sure don't care about it, nor about the other laws they break.
Maybe instead of banning lightning, we should just ban murder and crime. And then we could put up more signs that make us feel good and for criminals to ignore.
"People such as yourselves don't actually care about saving lives or protecting children."
Straw man. I don't care about people? Try again. Completely misrepresenting my position. I'm interested in violence prevention, starting with homicide prevention. Gun control is a necessary component of any anti-violence initiative. Guns are the weapon of choice for homicide. Period. Look at the FBI crime data.
Allow all adults at school to be armed? Really? Do you feel like paying more taxes for the school's insurance policies, which will almost certainly increase with firearms on campus, just so you and your buddies can go shootin' on the weekends?
This site limits threaded replies for some reason.
Mister Peebles, if your goal is violence prevention, then your methods of achieving that goal are misguided. Areas with more restrictive gun laws tend to have more crime. There are more guns than ever, more people are carrying than ever, and yet crime is down. Two of the most violent and deadly places in America are Chicago and Washington D.C. Both places are basically "gun-free zones." That means only the criminals have guns.
Most people when they call the police like it when an armed police officer shows up. Most people would probably like it if armed police show up during a school shooting. What's the difference between an armed police officer and an armed teacher? Some training. Yet gun banners generally refuse to even consider the idea of arming teachers if they have similar training. Teachers should at least be able to have the option of being armed. They could keep the gun locked in a safe in their classroom until it's (hopefully never) needed.
But, instead, gun banners dismiss the idea outright, and then when a criminal goes to a "gun-free zone" to do harm to children, all the teachers have to protect those children with is their bare hands. Let's say, somehow, no criminals have guns. They could still go to a school with a knife or similar. Scared little kids trapped in a room are pretty easy targets. Once again, the only thing protecting those children is the teacher's bare hands.
What really gets me is how many gun banner people refuse to push for current laws to be prosecuted better. Most criminals get their guns via straw purchases from people they know. Right now, no new laws needed, people who falsify their background check during a straw purchase could be prosecuted more harshly. But they're not.
I'd have to look up the numbers, but it's something like 10s of thousands of people a year falsify their background check paperwork, and only like 7 a year are prosecuted. When asked about enforcing that law better, Eric Holder said it's just a paper crime so they don't bother. That paper crime is a felony, and that paper crime is how most criminals get their guns. ...But most gun banner-type people don't care about such things. Because they just want to ban guns from everybody, including law-abiding citizens.
If you think banning guns is the way to prevent violence and death, you should look at some history books, because the most violence and death has been caused by governments inflicting it upon their own citizens, after first disarming them.
Look at some of the things SM has written in these comments. He calls all politicians criminals, says they're all bought and paid for, yet those are the people he wants to give all the guns to. Strange.
"Two of the most violent and deadly places in America are Chicago and Washington D.C. Both places are basically "gun-free zones." That means only the criminals have guns."
Wrong. The 2008 Heller supreme court decision upheld a citizen's right to use a handgun for self defense in DC. Wrong on Chicago. The 2010 McDonald supreme court decision upheld a citizen's right to use a gun for protection in Chicago, further, that they need not register those guns.
Both decisions were 5-4, a close vote. That leads me to believe there are legitimate arguments for gun control since 4 supreme court justices dissented.
"What's the difference between an armed police officer and an armed teacher?"
Teachers are supposed to spend their time and energy educating our students, not constantly looking over their shoulder to make sure their firearm is secured. A firearm in the classroom is lunacy. I would support an armed security guard, but not teachers. They have enough on their plates without needing to re-certify every year at the gun range before school starts.
"They could still go to a school with a knife or similar."
Funny you mention that. The same day as Sandy Hook, a crazed man with a knife stabbed 22 kids in China. How many died? ZERO. I am not condoning stabbing kids, but semi-automatic rifles are more lethal than a knife. Think about it.
Most crime has economic motivations. Global violence prevention means educating ourselves, improving job prospects, monitoring mental health without breaching privacy, providing community support groups with funds to be effective. Gang life can be discouraged if the gangsters feel like there is hope for them. At the moment, we are turning our back on Chicago. Gun control is part, but not all of the solution.
I agree current laws should be enforced. An easy way to catch straw purchasers would be to register their name with the guns they buy. When the guns show up elsewhere without a reasonable explanation, prosecute them.
Come on, compared to the rest of the country, Chicago is practically a "gun-free zone." It's not just about people being able to have guns in their home but also about how hard it is to bother getting and keeping them in the first place. You may not have to register guns in Chicago, but you do have to get pay to get a card from the state and then pay to renew it in order to keep them. That's what gun banners do... if they can't ban guns outright, they try to make it difficult and annoying and expensive for law-abiding people to bother.
There's also no carry allowed there (until recently when they were forced to pass something). Chicago also has an "assault weapons" ban. Just like how Sandy Hook had one. All such laws do is stop good people from having guns that can stop bad people.
But since you mentioned it, and since you say you want to stop violence and deaths, since the lifting of the Chicago handgun ban, crime and death rates have gone down. I'll even give the benefit of the doubt and just say they're about the same. That still means more guns didn't equal more death or crime. Let's look at what Mayor Daley predicted at the time: "Chicago’s Mayor Daley predicted that we would "go back to the Old West, you have a gun and I have a gun and we'll settle it in the streets . . . ."
Gun banners have a history of being wrong. Time after time after time. Every time carry laws come up for a state, gun banners predict shootouts over parking spots. And it doesn't happen. Why would anyone trust anything gun banners say?
You say teachers shouldn't have to constantly worry about their firearm being secure, even though I already said they could keep it in a safe. You don't mind armed security at a school, yet you mind armed teachers even if they get the same firearms training police officers get.
So now that leads to something interesting... you say you would support an armed guard at schools. Why's that? Is it because you know the best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is via a good guy with a gun? And yet so many gun banners want to take the guns away from the good guys so only the "criminal politicians" and other bad guys who don't care about background checks and "no guns allowed" signs have them.
As for your mention of gun registration, I already said to look at some history books. The most violence and death to citizens has come from their own governments, and gun registration and confiscation is usually involved. If you are honest about wanting to prevent violence and death, you will look into that and think about it more. Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership has a nice list on how many millions upon millions of people have been killed by their own governments. If you think it can't happen here, I bet that's the same thing all those other people said.
A lot of people need to realize the 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting or target shooting.
Areas with more restrictive gun laws tend to have more crime.
This is a lie!!!!
"There's also no carry allowed there (until recently when they were forced to pass something). Chicago also has an "assault weapons" ban. Just like how Sandy Hook had one."
You're very confused. Citizens of Chicago can indeed buy a gun for self protection. How can you say "no carry" and then admit 3 words later "until recently"? Your point doesn't stand if you contradict yourself. The Supreme Court in McDonald affirmed citizens of Chicago the right to own a weapon for protection.
Wrong on Sandy Hook assault weapons ban. BEFORE Sandy Hook, it was legal to purchase AR-15s in the state. Now, it is still LEGAL to possess them if previously purchased and registered. Owners have until Jan. 1, 2014 to register them if they are in the process of buying one. So it's NOT a gun grab. ARs can still be legally owned if you already had one.
I'm not sure you can claim more guns equals less crime (or no difference in crime). Correlation is not causation. There could be any number of reasons why violent crime is decreasing. Let's keep it that way. The free-flow of weapons to our streets doesn't help matters.
"The only way to stop a bad guy is a good guy with a gun". Patently false. I'm interested in violence prevention, which would preclude the criminal from entering the school in the first place. You think the only solution is at the scene of a crime. I think we should prevent the crime from happening in the first place. A security guard could also use a Taser, stun gun, mace, pepper spray, to neutralize a criminal. He doesn't have to be armed to the teeth.
Teachers can not possibly expect to be trained like police officers and be effective teachers at the same time. You would have to pay them substantially more, ensure they are physically fit, ensure they have a standard of firearms proficiency. Most teachers would refuse to train like cops to do their job. Tax payers are already against giving teachers any sort of raise, let alone a raise so they can train at the police academy.
A security guard is different than a teacher. It would be his/her duty to monitor the school exclusively on shift. The guard doesn't serve the dual purpose of educating. Further, keeping guns out of the classroom reduces the likelihood of accidental discharge, theft, or loss. Security guards can maintain a reasonable standard of proficiency because they are not tasked with educating kids at the same time. That's my compromise.
Finally a registry is not confiscation. Be honest about the definitions of words. All sorts of things are registered with the government. Your 1040 tax return hands over extremely sensitive information each April. It wouldn't be unreasonable to register firearms with the local police station.
I would want law enforcement to know if they are responding to a domestic violence incident in a house with deadly firearms. That's commonsense. Putting your name next to a firearms purchase IS NOT CONFISCATION. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
There's a difference between owning a gun and carrying a gun. People who are knowledgeable about guns and gun laws understand the difference.
As I said, Connecticut already has had an assault weapons ban since 1993. You're just playing games and trying to deflect from the truth that Connecticut ALREADY banned such weapons for the last 20 years. 20! (Not that anyone needs an "assault weapon" to shoot defenseless targets trapped in a room anyway.) And even Joe Biden says the new proposed bans and laws wouldn't stop such shootings in the future, yet all the gun banners ignore such things because they don't really care about protecting kids and saving lives they just want to ban guns.
If you don't want me to say more guns equals less crime, then gun banners don't get to say more guns equal more crime. If so, then they sure are trying hard to ban something that isn't linked to crime.
You say teachers can't have the same training as police, yet you apparently think security guards can. And, once again, you make up excuses about gun theft and accidental discharge when I've already said twice how about the teachers keep their guns in a safe. For some reason you want to do everything you can to have 25 little kids locked in a classroom have only their teacher's bare hands to protect them. At least you're not one of the gun-banner loonies who think even security guards shouldn't have guns at schools.
You're the one kidding yourself about registration and confiscation. Read a history book. And also remember the 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting or target shooting or even about kids in schools. It's about preventing government tyranny.
WRONG. Please get your facts straight. It was legal before Sandy Hook to own an AR-15, including those already in circulation before the ban. Search Google for "can i buy a ar-15 in connecticut" and see results page 2 for a thread reporting you COULD have purchased one. Obviously the law has changed in recent months, but that thread is from 2010 when it was still possible to buy forms of AR-15s.
"ignore such things because they don’t really care about protecting kids and saving lives" WRONG. Straw man. That's not my position and you know it. Stop distorting my words.
"If you don’t want me to say more guns equals less crime, then gun banners don’t get to say more guns equal more crime." Fine, I'm saying less guns will equal less firearms crime, and suicides, for that matter.
"You say teachers can’t have the same training as police, yet you apparently think security guards can." What? That makes no sense. Teachers are trained to teach and are compensated to educate. A security guard is trained to protect and is compensated to ensure safety at school. When you ask teachers to do double-duty and carry firearms you are burdening them unnecessarily. A full time security guard whose SOLE JOB is to manage security has more time to train like a cop compared to a teacher.
"For some reason you want to do everything you can to have 25 little kids locked in a classroom" Straw Man #2. Not my position at all. Get a grip.
"You’re the one kidding yourself about registration and confiscation." You're the one who is horribly confused. I register my car, truck, home address, home improvements, and financial activities with the government. They can NOT be confiscated without me breaking the law and forfeiting them. Same would go for guns. Registration of firearms would be helpful for law enforcement. They should know who has what type of weapons before entering a yard.
"It’s about preventing government tyranny." Perhaps, but in reality an armed rebellion would plunge this country into turmoil, chaos, and extreme economic uncertainty. You think things are bad now? Wait until we are fighting our neighbors and own military. Use your vote, it is more powerful.
Sorry ,but that's why security guards carry flash lights and pepper spray! Trained ( long schooling and police academy) officers are the only solution for people making those life threatning descions around our children....... I guess we'll just leave it up to the odds!
sm, I didn't realize it requires large amounts of training to be able to make a good decision to take a gun out of a safe and then shoot someone who wants to kill 25 children in your classroom after he just got done killing kids in the classroom right next to yours.
If you think only police officers should shoot people who want to kill children, ok. Though it's strange to me to worry about a teacher somehow shooting a child or whatever in that scenario when if they don't do anything the child will be killed by the bad guy anyway.
Maybe instead of shooting bad people who want to kill children, we could just put up a sign that says "child-killing-free zone." That should work as good as the "gun-free zone" signs work.
youre really fantasing about being a hero aren't you! That's the exact reason why a TRAINED police officer needs training to handle a messed up situtation of pure chaos and not shoot any innocent children. You only care about being a hero, Security guard>
Wes, didn't I already explain to you that you haven't graduated from your lego blocks yet kid! You'll shoot your eye out !!!
Mr peebles " That's why security guards carry Flash lights and pepper spray!"
Even though Im blowing hot air that you sure couldn't shoot a moving target ( the threat ) , you couldn't tell a child from an elderly person, let alone with a gun! that said... Its not three shots for a dollar at my kids school.
What? I am open-minded. You are the one who wants to *ban* something, that makes you close-minded.
Is there a livestream for this?? Please, someone link me!
http://weplaylive.tv/live-news-stream/ Nevermind, found one. :D
I rather be free than safe.
Yes Steve, You are the problem...........I hear Russia is great this time of year..... Go be free there, I dare ya!
I wish Piers would bring up to those that support invading our privacy to fight terrorism, when they say this has to be done to keep us safe....... Piers, please address the Boston Bombing and how much this invasion of our privacy helped in that attack! I'd love to hear the answer of many on this one! Of course most likely the supporters of taking away American's privacy will just skirt around the question or give a lame excuse if they can think of one.
ok little angel, its totally O>K for the internet companies , the gas station, the drug store, and the grocery stores to track your every move and purchase right, what about the cell phone companies genus, that's o.k too. Every heard of arbitration? that inhiluates your personal rights that would take place in a court that is waived in every contract you now sign.
Check the fine print on your cell phone bill and every other loan and mortgage contract you sign!!!!!!!! the U.S dept of Commernce ( which isint in any way a legit federal unity) is a twisted business idea made up by big business to stiff every consumer alive... It rigs your fundamental right off a positive verdit in your favor... look it up!
So were all misguided bye the big 1%, video monitored in every city and business ( which actually solves 75% of crimes) but being tracked by big brother bothers you bye weeding out terrorist the only way possible??????? people are getting less mature each year, and sensless in mental thought!
Our Politicians only listen to people that donate toward their election and do not care about the rest of us whatsoever. The shooting will never stop because NRA is a big contributor. We need to make contributions illegal.
Vicky, do you really know how Congress and the senate really work.. Did you pay attention it basic govt highschool class? Every politician demands a favor in return for his vote ( called pork spending) and that's attached to every law passed and vote given in the government.. politicians are legal criminals!
You say all the politicians are criminals, yet those are the people you want us to give our guns to so only they and the agents they control have them.
I don't like giving guns to criminals, but I guess you can if you want.
We need a new generation of elected officals with humility and commonsense. and I don't want you to have a gun!!!!!! you sound negligent just with your words!
rest assured! 2014 and 2016 will bury the " NRA". Things are going to change!!!!! a Special bi-partisan senate commity had to approve the cell phone and internet tracking plan...............You better believe it ( in secrecy) ...........Snowden is in deep you know what!
Piers beating a dead horse.
Focus on guns, rather than the government over reach, corruption and limitation of our freedom (aka tyranny).
you know, the exact same thing Ron Paul preached, and warned about while your knuckle heads called him a loon?
Welcome to the US......SR in the name of so called safety !
Yes David if you think so, NOT! trytalking against your government and true thoughts out loud in RUSSIA or CHINA!!!!! if you feel safer in another country then by all means your free to relocate!
But Laney, no one was taking about changing the fiser court or the patriot act until this kid leaked the information, so we couldn't wait for democracy to work
The Prism program is far more extensive and reaches deeper than anything your guests are admitting to. The fact is they are collecting gps positioning, monitoring video chats, emails, facebook – every form of electronic monitoring. The bulk data for millions of people is funneled through filters and can be used for anything from identifying cheating on your wife to how many pizzas you really are selling and if you are paying taxes on them. We are living in a police state and we are sleeping through our internment.
Dufess!!!! what do you think Yahoo, Google, amazon, the grocery and drug stores, and your beloved cell phone company are doing to you and everybody else as we speak.... don't you feel silly now? Grow up and use your hands to help rebuild your community usefully!!! Wow!
Again , get out of your parents basement!
The greatest problem with collecting the mass data, is that IT security is never 100% perfect – anywhere. Unintended private consequences happen to private individuals that those holding the data, can be completely unaware of. Even if we would choose to opt-in to allow organizations to collect this data that we would prefer to help and trust. Note however, that we were NOT provided this choice.
The government talks with banks being hacked regularly, because it is that much of a problem..
Using the attempted bombing in NYC as a reason for the value of the program is not viable. The bombing was not prevented by this intelligence. The bombs were disfunctional. The square was cleared-out because of visual recognition of a car parked in an odd place with no person in it for a period of time.
What would be true, is that the bomber may have been found soon afterwards due to this intellgence. That has value, so he doesn't attempt bombing again. But, the intelligence would not have prevented the harm being proported was stopped due to this program. If the bombs were constructed properly, harm would have happened regardless.
Some in government get a little too militant, and act as though anyone requesting accountability information is a crime. Responsible and honest citizens asking questions, should not be terrorised. My fear is that internal complaints are being met with internal terrorism of government employees, which is stopping the valid questions from being raised to the President and Congress that should be considered more quickly than the current proceses allow. These are sad times, where good people are so afraid of the typical daily terrorism of anyone questioning a security-related practice, that they need to run to just ensure that serious discussion occurs.
They didn't get so unnerved to leave their country of citizenship, just because they dreamed-up this result. Part of this bullying sounds a lot like the defenders of the program.
Every American should know about the failures of the US Government. Many people are simply unaware of the fact that government law-enforcement agencies, like the FBI, aren't caught off-guard very often, especially when it comes to large-scale terrorist attacks. They are well aware of those groups who are plotting acts of terror–they monitor and infiltrate these groups in order to control them and to control the situation. Sadly, what many people fail to realize is that governments often have plans (or laws) that they wish to implement in order for them to be better able to control the general population, and that often they require an event–a crisis–to occur before these plans (laws) can be implemented.
The Bush administration sat on a Clinton-era plan to attack al-Qaida in Afghanistan for eight months because of political hostility to the outgoing president and competing priorities,he plan to take the counter-terrorist battle to al-Qaida was drafted after the attack on the warship the USS Cole in Yemen in October 2000. Mr Clinton's terrorism expert, Richard Clarke, presented it to senior officials in December, but it was decided that the decision should be taken by the new administration. According to today's Time magazine, Mr Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger and Mr Clarke outlined the threat in briefings they provided for Condoleezza Rice, George Bush's national security adviser, in January 2001, a few weeks before she and her team took up their posts
Rights aren't rights if someone can take them away. They're privileges. That's all we've ever had in this country, is a bill of temporary privileges. And if you read the news even badly, you know that every year the list gets shorter and shorter. You see all, sooner or later. Sooner or later, the people in this country are gonna realize the government does not give a funk about them! The government doesn't care about you, or your children, or your rights, or your welfare or your safety. It simply does not give a funk about you! It's interested in its own power. That's the only thing. Keeping it and expanding it wherever possible.
You Know our beloved rights we all have are the only thing that keeps us safe and seperates us from every other country.... These right also slow the process of being one step ahead of terrorist and corruption. Do you like your odds better in Russia or China? Do ya?
Russia is not that bad sm. Putin calls obama out about every week.
Really Lee? well whats keeping you from going to live in Russia? Id really advise you not to talk about govt and polotics off any knid, because you will not survive long there genius! A little old female " Russian" rock band dissed the Putin in their rock video and landed in prison for up to four years for nothing.... And their still locked up, Leland! think harder and try again sunshine!
You are championing our rights, except the right to bear arms. Yet that's the right that helps us keep the other rights.
Wrong! It makes you a mistake in waiting and you going to probably shoot an innocent American! was up!
The dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following him. When Zimmerman answered, "yeah," the dispatcher said, "We don't need you to do that." Zimmerman responded, "Okay
“According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
So how was someone with a violent past including that of battery against an officer able to carry a 9 mm handgun
Logic dictates that the person WITHOUT the gun is more likely the one who would be calling for help” Why would the armed person be screaming and yelling "I'm begging you"? Sounds more like something an unarmed person would do when a gun is pointed at them!!
“George Zimmerman Deserves Jail Time For Lying About His Finances
jailhouse tapes of Zimmerman talking to his wife, Shelly, about the amount in his online defense fund. Ever since the judge ordered Zimmerman back to jail, donations to Zimmerman’s online defense fund have begun to significantly increase from the original $1,000 a day the fund was receiving.”
Interesting that something was left out of this debate about Snowden. Government is broken!!! Can't fix gun control, immigration, job creation, fiscal matters.....for Jeffrey Tubin and political insiders to call foul and infer that there was a more reasonable route for Snowden to take to bring about a change is ludicrous. How many times has CNN reported how government is broken? Why hasn't CNN explored the avenues of government whistleblowing to show how the "system" doesn't work. What happen to Brookley Born? Iris Mack outing Larry Summers when he was at Harvard prior to the derivatives scandal?
Your right! there should be some way to monitor all agencies, write new laws that are smart... You might all want to start reading up on all future elected officials to see who is wise and in the true peoples best interest besides their own wallet!!!!! the future is the only way to change this countries direction, not its current thieves!
Hey Fed Up! What do you do for your local community? will you offer your hands to help rebuild, or are you just hot air blabbing? Do you educate your children about the system and how it actual suppose to work, or do you say its just plain corrupt? start under your own roof and then work yourself out!
Amb Woolsey is on Piers Morgan right now speaking about the SNOWDEN "reveal". He repeats something like .."SNOWDEN IRRIGATED that entire decision to himself" and went on to say (Ref: snowden) irrigating to yourself that kind of power.. WHAT IS WITH THIS "IRRIGATING" ? Its NOT AROGATING, and its NOT EROGATING..Does he mean ABROGATING ? BIG WORD politicos.. BAH!
Good Grief sm!!

some fact checking on what gun type was in used in deaths in 2011, latest FBI data.
Total deaths in 2011 from firearms. 12,664, down 47% from 1993
seems Im more likely to die from falling down the stairs, or slipping in the shower , which kills more people a year than firearms.
those don't include knives, fists, etc..
Doom, Bad Karma, and whitwashing can and probably come around to bite you in the butt , maybe tomorrow or next year. Don't count your chickens before there hatched.... Guns kill people and bullets fly everywhere!
Yet your link clearly shows firearms are the weapon of choice for homicide in overwhelming numbers.
Also, accidents are not equivalent to premeditated murder. There is a huge difference.

I do not watch your program. I do not intend to ever watch your program.
What few clips I see from time to time are enough to convince me that I have better things to do with my time than listen to your pompous arrogance. But, unfortunately, the clip I watched tonight made me angry enough to write this. You're a world traveler. Don't you think it's time that you traveled to some other part of the world? Here's one American who wishes you would leave my country.
