Tonight at 9: John Miller on the NSA and Edward Snowden, Robin Meade sings her heart out, and George Zimmerman Jr. on the start of his brother's trial

On the backdrop of recent developments revealing 29-year-old Edward Snowden to be the man who leaked details of the NSA's data-mining program, this evening "Piers Morgan Live" invites John Miller to join the host in studio with his unparalleled knowledge and insight.

A senior correspondent for CBS News, tonight's appearance marks a return to the program for Miller, who in past visits has touched upon everything from the Boston bombings to the scandal surrounding David Petraeus' extramarital affair.

Meanwhile, as her sophomore album "Count On Me" hits stores and shelves this week, tonight Robin Meade will join Piers Morgan for a face to face conversation. The host of "Morning Express with Robin Meade," the Ohio-born television personality is no stranger to the "Piers Morgan Live" studio, having recently guest-hosted for the British presenter, interviewing the iconic Jane Fonda as part of her fill-in gig.

And, as jury selection begins in the highly anticipated George Zimmerman trial, tonight Piers Morgan will be joined for a face to face conversation with the defendants brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr.

This evening's visit marks a return to the program for Zimmerman Jr., as previous stops have seen him discuss his brother's morality, and his own recent social media offerings.

Tune in at 9 as a Morgan touches upon all the hottest news topics from Turkey to the morning-after pill.

The dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following him. When Zimmerman answered, "yeah," the dispatcher said, "We don't need you to do that." Zimmerman responded, "Okay

“According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.

So how was someone with a violent past including that of battery against an officer able to carry a 9 mm handgun

Logic dictates that the person WITHOUT the gun is more likely the one who would be calling for help” Why would the armed person be screaming and yelling "I'm begging you"? Sounds more like something an unarmed person would do when a gun is pointed at them!!

Zimmerman says Martin had been on top of him, slamming his head against the ground and smothering his mouth and nose with his hand and arm when he grabbed his gun from a holster on his waist before Martin could get it. He shot the teenager once in the chest.Trayvon Martin's DNA Not Found On George Zimmerman's Gun George Zimmerman's was the only DNA that could be identified on the grip of the gun used to fatally shoot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

“George Zimmerman Deserves Jail Time For Lying About His Finances

jailhouse tapes of Zimmerman talking to his wife, Shelly, about the amount in his online defense fund. Ever since the judge ordered Zimmerman back to jail, donations to Zimmerman’s online defense fund have begun to significantly increase from the original $1,000 a day the fund was receiving.”

Arale....You are leaving out the fact that all the evidence including the physical evidence supports Zimmerman's story....This story should not be politicized by anybody, especially by the media...but you can bet it will be by the biased liberal media...and because of this I doubt that Zimmerman can even get a fair trial.

Piers How can you let GZ brother get on national TV and lie like a rug about Trayvon Martin. He clearly is trying to defame Trayvon and make it seems as though he is a criminal. All the while GZ is the one who resisted arrest from a law enforcement officer. Also I hope the jury see through GZ LIE regarding who was screaming for help! How could he scream for help and for his life at the same time pulling a game and shooting a bullet into Trayvon. why would you cry for help and shoot a gun at the same time.

I stopped watching CNN for a while and briefing watched it while channel surfing. I see that I will have to avoid it all together. Also GZ is not fat because of stress he is fat because he is getting free food and eating too damn much.

I totally agree with Sherry's comments. Piers didn't even challenge the outrageous allegations against Trayvon's character made by GZ's brother. . Piers pushed back on the the gun issue but let GZ's brother made wild accusations against Trayvon Martin but made them seem like proven facts since Piers never questioned any of his comments or assertions. Very disappointed in Piers
Although I admire his crusade on guns and gun violence, I continue to be disappointed whenever I tune in to watch his show. But this is the last straw.
You lost another viewer tonight, Piers. I'll look for my news and commentary elsewhere from now on.

True, and I've thought that many times myself, but then, I've also heard that if the village elders don't step up and take charge, the village idiots will.

You sound very wise and that you might hold your countries future at heart, I do. Im approaching 40 yr and I assure you I point out and teach humility and respect to the youth, Intelligantntly ( none violent). Words can reveal yourself worth and maturity level quick. You can make them self destruct to think about it later!

Intellegance is studying your environment and figuring out how " YOU " fit in............... Not how you think you own it and " DEMAND " Respect!!!!! Humility is simple!

Dang it, I meant to hit reply, not report... sorry sm.
anyways... to your point of humility, there has also been a misunderstanding of the word itself and transposing it with humiliation. Humiliation is something that is thrust apon a person, humility is something one accepts on ones self.

Morgan is perplexed why anybody is allowed to buy a rifle that can shoot 10 football fields away ??...Again Morgan is showing his total ignorance about guns..and Morgan should just keep his ignorant pie hole shut about guns....Rifles that can shoot accurately a 1000 yards have been in existence since the 1800's...those old 50 caliber Sharps could shoot at least that far accurately ..these days the relatively inexpensive Remington 700 (and many others).in a 308 caliber is often used for long distance shooting.and was a staple for years by military snipers with little modification..Morgan is not only ignorant about guns but he didn't even do the research on this story....The gun cost $27.000 is not because it can shoot that distance but because of the hi tech sighting system that make's it very easy to be extremely accurate and even hard to miss ..which Morgan didn't even mention. Morgan is also ignorant about how many die each year by being beat to death in his interview with Robert Zimmerman ...in fact according to the FBI more people die by bare hands each year then by rifles ...including the AR type of rifle..And here's the link to prove it...

Evidence and people can be manipulated. People lie. George Zimmerman gave his side of the story, but there is another side, and without the trial that other side would never get to be heard. There would only be after school specials, and various talk shows where people would say, "Oh that's sad, that poor couple. Too bad." Let's consider George Zimmerman's injuries. He has said that Martin Attacked him and that's how he got them, but then, why did Martin Attack him? Martin wasn't doing anything wrong. He was just walking back to his dad's girlfriends house. Just talking to his girlfriend under his hoodie using an earbud. What was his motivation to attack Zimmerman? Did Zimmerman say something to him that would have elicited such a volatile response from the young teen? Was it derisive? Un-called for? hateful? How did he get motivated to do that? What events led to that motivation? What was the ideal set of events? Why did other than the ideal happen? What events were necessary? What was necessary and unnecessary? What was the sequence of events? Do the families deserve answers? Do the families deserve the truth? Was Martin engaged in a crime? Is Zimmerman's story objective or contrived? What gut feeling gave Zimmerman the notion that Martin was actually about to commit a crime, rather than simply walking to a specific destination? Could Zimmerman have misread the teens body language and mannerisms and fill in the blank with his own misconceptions about the teen? Is that ethical? Legal? What crime did Zimmerman witness Martin engaged in? What crime did Zimmerman suspect Martin was about to engage in?
Privilege to Arrest- Officer may arrest for felony if reasonably believes that felony committed and person arrested committed it. A citizen may arrest for felony if felony in fact committed and reasonably believes person committed it. Officer and citizen may arrest for misdemeanor breach of peace [[if committed in their presence]] (but deadly force never used for misdemeanor)
Self-Defense- ∆ reasonably believes he is about to be attacked and may use reasonable force. (most states require retrieval if can be done before using deadly force, defense not available to initial aggressors, reasonable mistake allowed).

I'm sorry to hear that actually; I pity him. How pitiful he must feel at times for getting so hysterical in that situation and assuming the worst rather than simply doing the right thing. If he has any conscience at all, he feels like a worthless shyte right now.
