READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Whether you fell asleep early, stayed out too late, or simply want to watch it again, we realize it's not always possible to get your entire "Piers Morgan Live" fix from television. As an answer to this, we offer the below labor of love – "Piers Morgan Live, Rewind" – dedicated and designed to getting you caught up and connected to the conversation.
With jury selection underway in the George Zimmerman trial, on Tuesday evening Piers Morgan invited Robert Zimmerman Jr. to offer his insights into the significance of this initial step in the case:
"I'm sure the media is going to be very interested in finding out who these jurors are. I'm very concerned their safety could be compromised," shared the defendant's brother. "If George is not convicted of second-degree murder, it wouldn't be the first time that jurors feel pressured to convict him on perhaps manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter because they feel like they have to do something."
Joining Morgan in studio, Tuesday's guest also offered his opinion as to why his brother has gained so much weight recently:
"George put on the weight because of the stress. I mean, he's been completely railroaded," noted Zimmerman Jr. "Everything that he held dear and sacred, the criminal justice system, the truth, the police, for example – that they would do the right thing – was tossed out the window, and he was charged with murder. And I think that's the way he's responding to the stress."
As America continues to wrestle with issues of privacy, security, and the sensitive balance between the two, Tuesday night saw Piers Morgan welcome a trio of newsmakers to offer their perspectives as part of the program's "Breaking The News" segment.
Speaking specifically to the topic of Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old recently revealed to be responsible for leaking details of the National Security Agency's data-mining project, Kevin Madden shared his stance:
"I certainly don't think he's a hero," said the brand new CNN contributor. "It's very clear that he's a lawbreaker. I think the idea of whether or not he's a traitor, I think that goes to the intent of whether or not he was trying to actually harm the country."
Respectfully, Marc Lamont Hill disagreed:
"He is absolutely a hero. He's not a traitor because even by his own admission - I don't think there's anyone who thinks he was trying to destroy the country," noted the "Huff Post Live" host. "He was trying to make America better ... what we know for sure is that the American public has more awareness that we're entering a surveillance state, that the country is surveiling [sic] people in ways that we probably didn't know and probably wouldn't want."
Meanwhile, the third member of the group, Robin Meade, found herself falling somewhere in between her two counterparts:
"I feel comfortable because I'm not involved in activities that I think the government would even be excited about," noted the HLN personality. "However, on the flip side, I just went through a compliance audit with the IRS. While I didn't have anything to hide, it was very uncomfortable."

you have just reminded me why i dont watch your show
The dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following him. When Zimmerman answered, "yeah," the dispatcher said, "We don't need you to do that." Zimmerman responded, "Okay
“According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
So how was someone with a violent past including that of battery against an officer able to carry a 9 mm handgun
Logic dictates that the person WITHOUT the gun is more likely the one who would be calling for help” Why would the armed person be screaming and yelling "I'm begging you"? Sounds more like something an unarmed person would do when a gun is pointed at them!!
Zimmerman says Martin had been on top of him, slamming his head against the ground and smothering his mouth and nose with his hand and arm when he grabbed his gun from a holster on his waist before Martin could get it. He shot the teenager once in the chest.Trayvon Martin's DNA Not Found On George Zimmerman's Gun George Zimmerman's was the only DNA that could be identified on the grip of the gun used to fatally shoot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
“George Zimmerman Deserves Jail Time For Lying About His Finances
jailhouse tapes of Zimmerman talking to his wife, Shelly, about the amount in his online defense fund. Ever since the judge ordered Zimmerman back to jail, donations to Zimmerman’s online defense fund have begun to significantly increase from the original $1,000 a day the fund was receiving.”
In hushed conversations from a Seminole County, Fla., jail, the man charged with second-degree murder in the killing of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin was instructing his wife how to transfer huge amounts of money between bank accounts and allegedly out of the gaze of local authorities.
The name “Peter Pan,” in this case, appears to have been code for the company PayPal. Zimmerman was using the online banking service to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars from supporters who believed he was either a hero of gun rights or a man being railroaded by a corrupt justice system.
Clumsy and obvious, the code was just one of several tactics that verged on the absurd that the Zimmermans used to try to keep their fundraising secret from authorities. The tactics were brought to light on Monday when prosecutors released audio recordings of six jailhouse phone calls between Zimmerman and his wife.
I was just reading Dean Koontz new book "Deeply Odd" and on page 156, 2nd paragraph, he outlines how our government has been spending billions to develop systems that could capture from the ether every one of hundreds of millions of phone calls and emails daily and conduct high speed analysis of the data with super computers. If Dean Koontz, a writer of fiction, knows about these technologies, why didn't people in our Congress and country know these things existed. Obviously, Snowden wasn't bringing to light something unheard of.
Trayvon Martin was standing his ground! Zimmerman attacked him, for God's sake. Hope the jury realizes that.
DNA Report does NOT support Zimmerman's claim that Trayvon Martin caused his injuries.

Life for George Zimmerman...............Justice for Trayvon Martin!!!!
This case has nothing to do with race! Those who interject race into this case are the true racists!!!
Yes, Mr. Zimmerman was in the wrong. But, we need to see the hole picture which is Mr. Zimmerman photo and Trayvon Martin photo at the same time. Not a young teen-age 9 years younger. Facts are Facts. Go to Snoop.com/Trayvon Martine
I will never watch Piers Morgan again....tonight's interview of Robert Zimmerman was a perfect example of Morgan's lack of respect. Signing off!
I can't believe that you and cnn allowed this sick a.. to be on the air less than a few hours.after the verdict ..he is not sympathetic that the Martin's loss their child..just trying to defend his brother even though he says justice was served.. disgrace !!
Florida, Florida, do you ever do anything right?
Barbara I feel the same way. Florida needs to straighten up. I feel like everything goes wrong down there.
Hi, nice to hear from you, but where have you been? This is old stuff. However, I think this poster should be posted at the entryway to Florida and put into every welcome basket: "Knowing when to walk away is Wisdom....Being able to is Courage. Walking away with your head held high is Dignity." Unknown author. And I think George Zimmerman should paint it, himself!
