Less than 48 hours removed from seeing the jury in the George Zimmerman trial return a "not guilty" verdict, on Monday night "Piers Morgan Live" welcomed Rachel Jeantel for a fascinating – and completely candid – exclusive interview.
Sharing her first public comments since testifying, the young woman who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin shortly before his death offered her reaction to the jury's decision, using several single word sentences:
"Disappointed. Upset. Angry," revealed Jeantel, as a live studio audience hung on every syllable. "Mad."
When asked by the host for her response to the jury concluding that Zimmerman had acted in self-defense, Monday's guest was forthright, and succinct:
"B.S. Just B.S."
As the polarizing interview continued, the young woman who had unwillingly becoming the star of the trial as the prosecution's presumed key witness remembered her late friend:
"He was a calm, chill, loving person. Loved his family, definitely his mother. And a good friend."
Watch the rest of the clip as Jeantel describes the hours she and Martin spent on the phone talking about "what we were going to be in life, how life's going to happen," and for the next edition of "Piers Morgan Live," watch CNN every night at 9.
