Half a decade since a series of private indiscretions halted his political career, Eliot Spitzer is back pursuing public office, as the 54-year-old Democrat has recently announced a run for New York City Comptroller.
Having easily acquired enough signatures to legitimatize his candidacy, this evening the former governor will join "Piers Morgan Live" to discuss his quest for redemption, normalcy, and forgiveness. Once dubbed the “Sheriff of Wall Street,” Spitzer recently told CNN's Christine Romans that he feels "the public is going to give me a fair hearing." But will Piers Morgan be equally understanding? Tune in at 9 for the live, exclusive interview.
Meanwhile, on the heels of a rapidly intensifying twitter feud, tonight Larry Elder takes a seat on "The Grill," where the topic of Rachel Jeantel and her recent interview is expected to fan the flames:
— Larry Elder (@larryelder) July 16, 2013
Hey @larryelder – rather than pick on a 19 year old girl, come and debate this with me on my show. If you've got the balls.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 16, 2013
And, continuing analysis of the "not guilty" verdict reached in the George Zimmerman trial, tonight seasoned legal eagles Alan Dershowitz, J.Christian Adams, and Kevin Cobbin will offer their interpretation of the courtroom drama that has polarized and divided a nation. Finally, Marilou Allen Coogan – a juror from the Jodi Arias trial – will join the program in an effort to help explain the experience of serving on a high profile legal case.
Tune in to "Piers Morgan Live" tonight at 9, for everything from Spitzer to Elder, from George Zimmerman to Rachel Jeantel.
