Thursday night, “Piers Morgan Live” invited the luckiest (or unluckiest, depending on how you look at it) man in the world on air to discuss his most recent (mis)fortune. Erik Norrie has been struck by lightning, bitten by a rattlesnake, beaten up by monkeys, and most recently, attacked by a shark.
While recovering in the Tampa Medical Center, Norrie, a religious man, explained why he believes that God doesn’t have it out for him:
“I think he's continually challenging me to trust Him. Which is what I believe that we all need to do through hard times, through good times, through bad times, it's important to always trust God.”
His wife, Spryng, has a sense of humor about Erik’s series of run-ins with danger:
“Well, it's an adventuresome marriage ... but the shark bite was quite a scare, that's for sure.”
As it turns out, Spryng had locked her husband in a monkey cage as a joke before he was attacked. But rather than call for help, she took pictures!
