Coming up this evening at 9, Piers Morgan welcomes Meghan McCain for a candid and entertaining face to face interview.
On the heels of her recently launched show "Raising McCain," the 28-year-old daughter of the former GOP Presidential candidate opens up about her relationship with her father:
"I love my dad, I love my family, I think I'm so lucky and blessed, and I have this crazy life, my dad is ... he's the best dad ever. I know nobody likes this answer, people would much prefer if we had this turbulent relationship, but he's very supportive, we talk every day," says McCain. "I think he's such a badass."
With the Republican Party having come up short in each of the last two general elections, the "Piers Morgan Live" host and his guest review the potential candidates to lead the GOP in 2016. As the current New Jersey governor's name is brought up, McCain offers a very revealing perspective:
"I used to love Chris Christie. I'm kind of done with Chris Christie right now," she declares. "I think politicians, obviously, there's some level of self-promotion that you have to do. But I would like the next leader of the Republican Party, and the next nominee, to maybe be a little more interested in helping the country than just their platform."
Watch the above clip for more details of McCain's political insight, and for the entire interview with the woman with her own show on Pivot, tune in to CNN tonight at 9.
