Whether you fell asleep early, stayed out too late, or simply want to watch it again, we realize it's not always possible to get your entire "Piers Morgan Live" fix from television. As an answer to this, we offer the below labor of love – "Piers Morgan Live, Rewind" – dedicated and designed to getting you caught up and connected to the conversation.
Amidst Senator Ted Cruz's marathon speech, an impressive display of rhetoric that ultimately lasted more than 21 hours and featured impersonations of Darth Vader and excerpts from "Green Eggs and Ham," on Tuesday evening "Piers Morgan Live" invited Ben Ferguson and Marc Lamont Hill to offer their perspectives on the tactics of the Republican from Texas.
"This political stunt that Ted Cruz is engaging in will do nothing to help. Even the people who agree with Ted Cruz like Ben Ferguson, I mean, there's actually no benefit to this. There's no potential political victory in what Ted Cruz is doing," said Hill. "I think it's a huge deal that a member of Congress is wasting 30 hours reading 'Green Eggs and Ham' when there are real problems in United States. I don't think however that it's a threat to ObamaCare, he doesn't have the votes."
Joining the program via satellite, Ferguson found validity in Cruz's goal, if not his technique:
"The reason why he's fighting to defund is because the Democrats including President Barack Obama, he was out there today defending a bill - let's not forget that's already been passed. That's how vulnerable it is. That's how many people aren't happy with it," he told Piers Morgan. "The President still having to defend the bill that literally was passed a couple of years ago, a bill that Democrats would not mention in the last election because they were so afraid of being associated with ObamaCare. That's how vulnerable it is."
On Tuesday, international music icon Bono took to the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative, and offered a spot-on impersonation of the man whom founded the event. Watch the above clip for the U2 front-man's best "Bill Clinton," then catch "Piers Morgan Live" at 9 this evening as the former president returns the favor.
