    Piers,
A Census Employee who is not having to report for work? Is that all you have to interview? What about those who are 'required" to come to work for FREE. I have gone to work every day for the past 25 years at a federal LE agency to protect kids from predators. Its one thing to not go to work and not get paid but its even worse to be requireddf to work and figure out how your going to pay your mortgage in 9 days when the next pay period rolls around and you only have 1/2 of a paycheck I am sick of hearing about the National Parks and Vets(God Bless them), I am sure they(vets) would rather see law enforcement and the military getting paid for coming to work than a visit to a granite wall.

Congrats to those lawmakers who brolke the law to move the barricades for a photo op.

Despite all the talk about the hardships for government employees, they have been paid retroactively in ALL six previous shutdowns. While govt employees may be inconvenienced, they WILL be paid. They will have some time off and avoid the usual work costs of gas, commuting and lunch. Citizens, on the other hand, will get fewer services during the shutdown, and will continue to be billed for them. The shutdown is a bad ruse. It is not unfunded; in the end, it WILL be retroactively funded, but many private citizens - not govt employees - will be hurt by it.

In the early 1980s, an Indian Guru, Rajneesh ( Osho to his followers – who also had a ranch in Oregon, USA and a number of followers there ) had said, after watching the quality of debates in the parliament of India, that the average mental age of the Indian law-makers would be around 14 years. Since then, the same has regressed and now at single digit. After watching the debates in the House & Senate, can anyone guess the average mental age of American law-makers ?

Can't get CNN anymore as of Oct. 1st.
Turner/ Time Warner asking 50% increase on license fees is extreme.
I hope these corporates can work something out soon; much like our government.

Plese Mr. Morgan, I can not understand why people on your show could not mention why America is in this shape, especially in politics. At the begining of Obama`s Presidency, the Republicans said that they will not let Obama to succeed and they kept it up without minding who is to suffer. This GOP has not done any thing a bout unemployment or any thing that will bring improvement in America. They even voted not to extend unemployment benefit. The only thing they have embacked is womens rights, poor citizens rights, the middle class peoples rights. They have not legislated on a postive thing. Why people can not remember or say some thing a bout it I do not know. People keep beating about the bush as if we have already forgotten the truth. I wish to be in one of your town hall like setting to help remind America why the suffering might go on till next three years. By that time Obama1s time in the white house will expeire. Thanks.

Send this guy back to England, I'm sure they don't want him back. This guy talks over his guests. He asks questions no one wants answered such as asking the stupid question of C. Clinton of she's into politics. Of course she is but not in active pursuit of office. He just blurts this question out in the middle of a conversation. He can back up his arguments most likely due to lack of preparations. But CNN in general has as late dropped the ball on any substantive arguments on many things. It can't make a good argument of explanation of the affordable care act although it's been the conversaton of the day for many days. It seems no one at CNN knows what it does or how it works. You've interviewed republicans and they've vanquished you from the fiield with only wimpers from your interviewers. One guy blasted the interfiewer with, Obama has'nt given a budget in years. Obama to my knowledge the one who is to initiate a budget, that comes from the house and goes to Obama. He's ask for one for years and the house refuses to send him one. Get things straight before you put a report on the air. P.M. is more a symptom than a stand alone failure. Wolf is another one who shouts his own guests down before they can talk. Which is anoter annoying thing. allowing people to get into shouting matches, its bad conversation, it's bad television, it's bad everything. Clean up your act or not I don't care CNN has no authenticity to me so it's a non player anymore.
