About Casey: I worked with Casey for a span of 15 years as his make up artist. He was always so proud of his children and talked about them often. When Jean married Casey she took complete control of his life. When I went to his home to make him up for an event, I was told that Jean preferred me wait in the Kitchen as I watched a domestic worker passing by with a silver tray with a coffee pot and breakfast to serve her in bed. I asked Casey later, "Wow, that's a nice thing to do?" And Casey replied, "This is required when she wakes up every morning." She was "The Queen" and everyone else was there to serve Jean, even Casey.
To the children of Casey, I'm very sorry your dad was so unfortunate to have met Jean. She focused, she wanted and she conquered. Good luck!

Piers Morgan is, in my opinion, with his bashing of Indian Men on his show, simply repeating and inheriting the old British Empire mantra that all third world peoples are rapists and animals, in order to "keep them in line." This is the oldest trick in the book – see that movie "A Passage To India" for a reference.

I admit that I found Piers' commentary entertaining. Yet sadly I see a trend he displays much to often. Why is that his opinion of political and social issues, should be accepted as truth. Yet opinion by definition, leaves open the possibility of mistakes. I am proud to say that I myself rarely agree with most people and their opinions. Yet it never leads me to hate or attack some one. I think that humanity succeeds when people with different opinions, find ways to communicate and reach common ground. I am pro free speech, equality, and religious freedom. Even if I don't like some of the results. So I would ask CNN and Mr. Morgan to tread gently on the Paula Deans, and Phil Robertson of this world. Because after all, every one falls eventually. And the world would be a better place, If we helped them up, rather then keep them down. Just asking you to think about it. Because I really enjoy your show, and would hate to have to remove CNN from viewing lists. Thanks and Merry Christmas,

Although Piers Morgan is honest and maintains a firm stance in his opinions, never have I thought him to be dogmatic. How is it possible that someone can mandate their personal beliefs or opinions as truth? It's not possible, but most certainly, we in America have the right to voice our opinion...it's called Freedom of Speech. So just as I acknowledge YOUR right to verbalize your opinions, so do I acknowledge Piers Morgan's. He is upfront; he is loyal to his opinions, but those are qualities I consider admirable. To deny him this freedom of expression would mean you too would lose that same freedom.

Odd with all the hate you spew about things you don't agree with, you advocate firing a man for his personal opinion. Good thing for you that doesn't seem to work both ways since your opinions many times disgust me. Maybe the wrong person got fired.

About your comments on Phil Robertson: go back to England and stay there. We know what Freedom of Speech really is ..not your or Obama's version. I back Phil 100%,and if more people were honest like he is .the "political correctness"that is ruining us may disappear forever!

Come on Pierce your a Christian and then say your a catholic? Do you hear yourself? You disrespect the first and second amendment yet without either you would not have a show? You people have taken a mans opinion and spun it into a web of lies to bash him and True Christians. Your a part of the major problem plaguing this great Country. You may be a citizen but are no patriot. Many in my family fought for these rights including myself. Phil had every right to state his opinion protected by the first amendment. Just as you bashing him and his faith is protected by the same amendment. You should be fired for bashing a Straight white Christian along with all the people that called him a bigot. You persecute Phil and mock Christian beliefs which is equally if not a worse offense than the comments he made. Hold your hand out real far........now smack yourself

Now it turned to gun shooting at schools. To all you Americans Canada has more guns per capital then America but we have no shootings in the schools very little murders every year by guns in comparison to America so if you want to get an idea of gun laws you might want to take a note from Canada

    FINALLY !

It has been a heck of a year so far, a nightmare to say the least, considering the crisis we found ourselves in this year. I am sadden to hear that after all that pain, and to Finally get somewhat of a resolution, that those supposed statesmen and women in Washington still wanted to cling to the notion that one individual or one party won over the other. It should never have been an issue of who would blink first or whether the Republicans or Democrats would win the struggle. It always has been or should have been about whether the American People would win; to achieve a workable plan whereby not just a few Americans benefit, but that every American benefits. We dearly want to hope that the system, the national process, a government of the People, by the People and for the People can really work. That would be how ever American benefit. Remember these guys in Washington work for us, not the other way around. O, excuse me, these State Persons!

I am glad to see that FINALLY someone winked (not blinked), arming us with an endearment and raising a sense of real hope.

Maybe now, We the People can look to the future and just maybe we can restore faith in ourselves. There is still a lot of work to do in achieving an optimum level of success. But this will only happen if those in Washington listen.

You know what sadden me even more, is that I originally wrote this essay on August the 8th of 2011 and with only a few modifications the words remain the same- December 2013.
