More than a week into the mystery surrounding missing Flight 370, new theories are popping up each day, and with information scarce, nothing feels out of the realm of possibility.
On Monday evening, Bill Weir filled in as "Piers Morgan Live" host, welcoming retired American Airlines pilot Jim Tilmon for a live, primetime interview.
Joining the program via satellite from Phoeniz, Ariz., Tilmon said he wished to "roll something by you," admitting it was "far-fetched" and might sound "crazy."
Searching for answers on behalf of the network and its audience, Weir invited Tilmon to "go ahead, bring it."
Laughing, Tilmon noted that "yeah, I'm going to bring it", before offering his theory.
"What would happen if they did in fact find a way to land, refuel, take off again and then threaten the integrity of certain kinds of structures, structures like the White House, the Eiffel Tower," he wondered. "What if they had threatened those in a 9/11-type approach?"
Admitting that he had "no clue" as to how or why such a plan of landing and refueling would take place, Tilmon only went as far as to say that those behind the operation are "skillful", and "very, very smart" and "very, very good pilots".
But "who's they", wondered Weir, serving up a question that once again left Tilmon without a concrete answer.
"You might as well call them ghosts, because I have no idea who they are", he revealed.
To Tilmon though, an aviation analyst and consulting group president, the international breadth of the manifest and the dilemma such a diverse flight would cause is central to the proposed scheme.
"If they did in fact threaten some kind of property on the ground, who would make the decision about what they're going to do about it? You've got all of these nations involved. You've got 75 different people on there other than a large group of Chinese on there", said Tilmon, referencing the 25 nations represented on Flight 370. "If somebody said, 'well, we've got to shoot it down, we can't let it fly into the whatever,' what kind of a diplomatic mess would that be around the world."
Clearly taken aback by his guests theorizing, Weir admitted to being exasperated:
"Jim, you are taking us like three nightmares into the future. Let's focus on the one we've got."

There should be a thorough forensic check of the take off runway for animal remains such as a wild boar ect! This could have been sucked into the right engine on take off which later on in flight caused a disintegration of the right engine causing a compleat short circuit of the electrical system and causing incapacitating smoke inhalation?
I do this airways often,im curious the time frame between allright goonight to trans[onder out, it usually no more than 2 minutes to connect with hochiminh ATC or transponder out immediately after goodnight.
the vietmanese would not frantically lookin for mh370 if it still in KL control, wonder if KL atc even used 121.5 to search by informing other traffic for help. if it had contacted Vietnam Atc then transponder out , we have 2 minutes of whats happening during that perode, and did Hochiminh called back to KL or search using onguard freq?? lots more quest I lke to raise espc re 4 paxs no show, its uncommon of practice to replace 4 noshows with 4 stdby, when the capcity was 80%
there have been reports that flight 370 might have been spotted over Maldives flying extremely low around the time it would be expected to arive if it were flying in that direction ......maybe some one could check the web cams and security videos from the islands to confirm this as it would be close to the max range with the reported fuel and would also explain why we havent found anything yet .....we could be looking in the wrong places

Could it be that there was a wmd on board, pilot was hero by directing the flight to the ocean, without hijacker knowing?
What's the story on the families of the pilot and crew? Where is their loved ones and acquaintances being interviewed and pleading for their return? Their silence is frightening.
we have a bigger problem called Russia. Putin did say he would like Alaska back years ago. Ukraine is our ally we need to protect that country.

Pierce...there is credible information that the plane was hijacked by the Russian spy on board MH370 – NIKOLAI BRODSKII. The plane made a turn back and flew to the Straights of Malacca before heading towards Thailand. The Thai military caught the plane on the radar and the US fighter jets its military base there intercepted the plane. The hijacker convinced Thailand that this is not a terrorist activity rather a government secret mission. Thailand called Russia intelligence and was confirmed that the info is correct. The plane was allowed to fly to Nanning, China where negotiations proceeded between Russia, China ad the US. One of Malaysian top leading media – TV3 was the first one to report that the plane ad landed in Nanning but this info was quickly refuted as a hoax. The landing in Nanning DID take place. From Nanning, the plane flew to a military base in Russia. The objective: To force China not to take any pro-Ukraine and US decisions and to side Putin instead. Have you noticed that China abstained from its veto vote in the Security Council against Russia? Have you noticed that the Malaysian government is YET to ask Thailand for its radar details?? Its clear that the radar details will reveal the truth. China needs to buy more time for the negotiations. Malaysia is unfortunately caught in between. Have to admit I've never been a CNN fan but Bill Weir is a huge upgrade from Piers Morgan. He actually sounded sensible and intelligent last night.
ELTs were not activated.Thus, did not crash in salt water. Co-conspirator country or group (al-Quida) used a decoy plane to throw us off course while 370 landed in a prearranged place. Will it be used in an act of terror
why the search in the south ? why would such a valuable plane ditch , It does not make any sense... none of the facts support this theory...it is like a wild misleading goose chase to keep the public's attention away from some thing else...The enemy are clever , remember 9/11, did we ever expect that ? The israelis are on red alert, why are we not on red alert??? that plane could get loaded with WMD's. and one knows where it would be headed !!..... isn't it better "to be safe than sorry "... this is not kosher....
Why has no one discussed the moving map system in the planes in-flight entertainment screen? Surely anyone on the plane who had the moving map displayed would have known that the plane was going in the wrong direction.
Batteries–Batteries
The first possible cause came up about Lithium batteries, then went away and returned then disappeared from the discussion........ The hypothetical question: is there a location in the cargo bay where these batteries could be stored that would wipe out the communication system if they caught fire or exploded. Pilots would have been overcome with smoke, would have to descend because of pressurization and would have to turn around and would have an erratic flight path due to confusion. It's a question for the ground crew and for Boeing. But little discussion since it's too simple of an answer and not as dramatic and a hijack. KISS
Russia and Ukraine are yet to give the background details of the two Ukrainians and one Russian on board to the Malaysian authorities. Are they hiding something?
