January 10th, 2013 – "Do you understand how absurd you sound?"

I have watched CNN for many years but the firing of Piers has gone too far. Sure hope you have a great replacement or I will no longer be watching CNN.

Carol, if you're not going to watch CNN because of the firing of P. Morgan, which should have been done years ago, you won't be missing anything because you surely did not learn anything in the past ! I have never figured out why anyone would want to watch Morgan, who is so anti-American it is unbelievable. Go back to what ever country he came from and entertain those people. I'm sure they will love his communist thoughts.

CNN was my favorite show. Since there will be no more Piers Morgan I will not enjoy it ever again. He is brilliant and a wonderful iterviewer. So nice to look at too. What was the real reason he was fired?

Sorry to see Piers is leaving. Enjoyed his program and willingness to stand up to the big business lobbyist nonsense. How many guns do they really need to sell to feed the greed? Until people tire of this, it will keep on keeping on. Thanks to Piers for standing up and saying what so many are thinking. I do respect your courage. We need more people willing to do so. Sorry to lose your, much welcomed, voice of reason. Hope to see you again.

He exposed them all for who they really are and their child-like mentalities. They only want to win an argument. None.....want to fix or have ever suggested more than a 4th grader's response to his plea for answers. They won't get it till their family members are victims. Sad.....but coming.

Goodbye and Good luck Piers Morgan. I enjoyed your show every night because of your honesty and anti gun
position. It took a lot of guts to state your case and now you are paying the price because of the gun lobbyist's.
I am disgusted with CNN and I doubt I will ever watch CNN again. I wish Piers all the best in the future and I hope to see him again soon on some other intelligent network. Keep up with your courage and humanity. All the best and God bless you and your family.

I was one of those who ordered Piers Morgan to Interview 101.... where hopefully he would learn to listen.. His impatience with civil discourse was beyond irritating, even when he fell on the side of empathy and compassion. He was right about gay rights and gun control, but he undermined his good intentions by failing to maintain objectivity. Now, of course, we miss him and CNN has revealed its insecurity, dashing from one desperate strategy to another. Morgan was tractable. He was improving. Too bad you didn't give him a second chance.
