Chelsea Handler's "Piers Morgan Live" lessons – Palin "not a serious person", 50 Shades of Grey is "trash", sleeping around at work "encouraged"

Dating back to the shows origins in January of 2011, television personality Chelsea Handler has been a welcome breath of fresh – if not inappropriate – air, as one of the most unabashedly honest and least censored "Piers Morgan Live" guests of all-time.

With the 39-year-old set to return Monday evening, we've taken the liberty of revisiting some of Handler's most noteworthy comments and moments. FULL POST

Monday, the real "Wolf of Wall Street", Jordan Belfort joins Piers Morgan in a live interview

Crook? Charmer? Or perhaps most likely, a bit of both? With his life's decadent downfall now playing out on the silver screen, on Monday evening the real-life version of “The Wolf of Wall Street” visits the "Piers Morgan Live" studio, as Jordan Belfort sits down for an exclusive interview.

The Academy Award-nominated film, which features Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role, chronicles the rapid rise and crumbling fall of the stockbroking scoundrel, in the process detailing the antihero’s less than noble path to success, and his notorious partying antics along the way.

Though Martin Scorsese's three hour feature has been an unequivocal box office success, many critics argue that the project inappropriately glorifies the villainous lifestyle of many Wall Street tycoons, including those who have yet to receive just retribution. FULL POST

Tonight at 9, Men at Work: Anderson Cooper, Jay Glazer, Artie Lange, and Ken Burns

This evening's edition of "Piers Morgan Live" will offer a decidedly masculine feel, as the British television presenter will welcome a quartet of established men, all tasked with offering their professional and personal perspective on a bevy of polarizing topics.

As it's less than one week since Typhoon Haiyan wrought devastation and suffering on the Philippines, tonight at 9, CNN's Anderson Cooper will be on the ground in Southeast Asia, offering the latest updates as part of a special live report.

And on the heels of his recent exclusive interview with Richie Incognito, and with the NFL's perceived bullying epidemic continuing to polarize the nation, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer joins the program with his insights from an exchange which dominated the weekend's news cycle.

Meanwhile, with a brand new book – entitled "Crash and Burn" – and a history of wild television moments, guest Artie Lange is certain to bring his trademark brand of entertainment and enthusiasm when he sits directly across from Piers Morgan in the host's New York City studio.

And, in advance of his latest documentary which recognizes the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, legendary filmmaker Ken Burns takes viewers behind the scenes of a project which features cameos from everyone from Bill Clinton and Steven Spielberg to Usher and Taylor Swift.

Tune in to CNN this evening at 9 pm as Morgan and his magnetic men share an hour of television dedicated to touching upon a wide-ranging selection of fascinating topics.

Tonight at 9: Lora DiMaggio speaks out in an exclusive interview

Tonight at 9, tune in to “Piers Morgan Live” for an exclusive interview with Lora DiMaggio, James DiMaggio’s sister. This is her first interview since her brother’s death and and the first look at a different side of the man she knew before he abducted 16-year–old Hannah Anderson and allegedly killed her mother and brother earlier this month.

Last night, Piers Morgan spoke with another long-time friend of James DiMaggio, therapist and CEO of a behavioral health company Andrew Spanswick. Spanswick related the horrific series of events to DiMaggio’s painful childhood:

“Well, I still think it goes back to his childhood trauma.”

Spanswick was referring to the fact that DiMaggio had been emotionally and physically abused and that the abuse may have led to mental instability. Other traumatic life events like Dimaggio’s father’s drug abuse and ultimate suicide were also linked to his actions just before his death. FULL POST

Tonight at 9: Who is Michael Brandon Hill?

From New York to Oklahoma, gun control has stolen the headlines this week. But as we learned from the 911 call that came amidst an attempted school shooting in Georgia, not all stories end in tragedy.

On Tuesday, Antoinette Tuff found herself face to face with Michael Brandon Hill, an admittedly mentally unstable 20-year-old armed with an AK-47.

With support from a 911 dispatcher, and a dose of old-fashioned compassion and human kindness, the bookkeeper at the Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy just outside Atlanta convinced him to surrender, and is being hailed across the country as a hero.
