Piers Morgan's latest column in the Daily Mail features this line: "It was like waking up one morning and discovering Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba staring back at me with lust in their eyes."
So what was he referring to? If you can believe it... cricket.
Piers writes about his triumvirate of sport success: "England kept the Ashes, Arsenal thrashed Chelsea or Wayne Rooney went more than 24 hours without scoring for Manchester United in open play."
The Ashes, for those unfamiliar, is a cricket series between England and Australia, and is "one of the most celebrated rivalries in international cricket and dates back to 1882." This year...
England pulverised Australia in every aspect of the game. We out-batted, out-bowled, out-fielded and even out-sledged them. I've never seen an Australia team as poor as this one. With the exception of a few good individual performances at Perth, they've been pathetic.
