Shame. Don't you have any one else interesting to interview than this guy. Poor girl, she fell for the money.

Can't you get anyone of substance to agree to be interviewed on your show. Hugh Hefner and his giggling girlfriend are a waste of my time.

I hope they are happy, but have no idea why they would even want to go on the show.

  9. Michèle Renée Gervais

Dear Piers, I admired you as host of Britain's Got Talent and in your first interviews on CNN. Your comments tonight regarding Hugh Hefner's marriage are insulting, at best, to most women. I happened to tune in while making pre-dinner hors d'œuvres and was APALLED to hear you claim that "Hef" could have had any woman in the world... and chose Crystal". Please forgive me for contradicting you, but Hugh Hefner could not have had any woman in the world. As an intelligent, attractive, successful career woman, wife, friend to other women and men, mother and business owner, I believe I am not amiss in informing you that most woman would never consider stooping to the likes of "Heffy boy" at any moment in their lives. Hugh Hefner served an important role in this modern age in America especially in releasing many Americans from a Puritan heritage, but he is by no measure a person interesting to women capable of thinking and feeling beyond Plastic.

Ms. Gervais, I am 100% with your assessment. Neither myself or any of my successful, attractive, and intelligent female friends or family members would EVER be interested in dating, bedding, or marrying Hef – not for him, not for his money. However, remember that the entertainment industry is the context in which Piers has been in lately. Certainly not newsworthy, but this kind of trash keeps Piers busy while he starts this new phase in his career.

Every girl he ever dates or marries seems unable to carry on a conversation without those annoying giggles. I don't know if they guffaw because they're just ditzy, or if they're excited about the money they're going to get.

Why Hef is with Crystal, much less marrying her, is beyond me. He should have married Holly Madison when he had the chance...she was adorable, and really cared about the man.

Piers, i love ur show, but tonight was a special one for me, cause i am an 33 yr old educated, east indian woman from the caribbean, married to a 72 yr old german american man. This if the first relationship i've been in, that i feel loved. my husband treats me like a princess. we do well finacially, he works for the state, and i work for the state in the caribbean, but a day never goes by when he tells me he loves me, by email, skype or telephone, his freindship and love made me fall for him deeply.

Prior to a commercial break & more than half way into the interview, Hugh Hefner made this comment in a soft, low tone: "I have lived, consistently, a very moral life." Piers Morgan never followed up on that absurd remark. Condescending to a media mogul who exploits young women. Pathetic. I doubt that Larry King would have let that comment go unchallenged.

How come you couldn't show Rod Stewart last night, but can put such an obnoxious person as heffner on? Bad call on your part. I for one did not watch and my rating for the show has deslined considerably.

After after your show, I have come to my own understanding that what Hef is doing now is nothing more than a publicity stunt. He has been on other shows with Crystal, there just does not seem to be any chemistry for a marriage She is in it for the fun she is having and to get herself promoted. He is trying to get his publications sales up. They are playing the public, in my own opinion. If Hef had gotten engaged to Holly Madison it would have been taken seriously, there was a serious bond between the two. This now looks more like a great grandfather having fun with his grandkid, why is CNN promoting this?

I'm sorry that I missed this interview and don't understand the negative comments here. Heftier is an American icon and why not interview him? This is an interview show. Larry King has interviewed him as well. Piers, I like your new show and think that are doing a great job. For those who need the latest up to the minute reports on the middle east, they can catch some of it on your show and all of it on Anderson Cooper immediately after. From what I have seen, other than the killing, theres not much happening in Libya right now that can't wait one hour.

Undeniably consider that that you stated. Your favourite justification seemed to be at the internet the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I definitely get irked even as people consider concerns that they just don't realize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the top and outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , folks could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thank you
