READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Besides Larry King (live), we're also following several other news stories here at "Piers Morgan Tonight" that may turn into segments in our live show at 9pmET. Here's a look at what we're looking into:
• Reports continue to stream out of Libya. Here's one of the latest from CNN: "Even as Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi called on the military to crack down on anti-government protesters, reports came in Wednesday that a military aircraft had crashed because the crew refused to carry out bombing orders." See more below:
• Is Lindsay Lohan headed back to jail? A judge says jail is the likely option for her latest legal woes,
• Despite a rising death toll, rays of hope emerge from New Zealand: "A woman was pulled from earthquake ruins Wednesday in one of New Zealand's largest cities, bringing a rare ray of hope as rescuers frantically searched for survivors. Ann Bodkin took cover under her desk when the 6.3-magnitude quake struck Tuesday in Christchurch, killing at least 75 people. She had been trapped in her office building for 24 hours."
• A former NFL player who had concerns about his own brain injuries committed suicide last week: "The toll of repeated head blows and injuries loomed over football after the death last week of former NFL player, Dave Duerson. Duerson, a former Chicago Bears safety who was a key member of the team's legendary defense, was found dead Thursday in Florida. He was 50. Duerson shot himself in the chest, which kept his brain intact for examination for a debilitating brain injury called chronic traumatic encephalopathy, known as CTE."
I viewed your interview with Hugh Heffner and his fiance last night – I'm not sure why.
They are quite a pair – the reason they get along so well is he doesn't know what day it is and neither does she – talk about out to lunch!!! Those kinds of men have very large egos that need to be constantly stroked (among other things). Notice that she didn't say much about her accomplishments – she'll learn!!!!
Have watched and enjoyed all of your shows but Hugh Heffner was a bomb – the only show I turned off early.
The world is waiting for you to step down Muammar Gaddafi. Let your people live in peace. Please stop these crimes against humanity.
Larry, I missed you!

Watched the interview with Lindsay Lohan's father tonight – give me a break. Would the media please stop with these people – they are all obviously in need of counseling and strong medication. Lindsay is struggling because her parents divorced – please – Lindsay is a spoiled product of Hollywood's movie industry – pampered, protected and told how wonderful they are. Show up in court with inappropriate remarks on her nails, then in a dress that looks like she is auditioning – and crying (come on, she's an actress). Put her in jail where ordinary people charged with the same crimes would have been put long ago.
I had a lot of high hopes for your show and have enjoyed some of them but I tune into tonight so I can catch some serious news and you are talking about American Football players and injuries and then you move on to Lindsay Lohan? My mistake for tuning in. Can someone somewhere stand up and act like a real journalist so I don't have to the news from John Stewart.
And what is wrong with American football and injuries?
With regard to the interview with Lindsey's Lohan's father, until Lindsay Lohen owns up to her own problems NO-ONE will be able to help her
it is not because of her father, her mother or anyone else that she is where she is today. She was the one who stole the jjewellery. As an addict, only the addict can help themselves and she has had enough chances so I hope she will finally stop and admit she needs real help and take the time to try it.
tAddiction is not a game and the end result is you either own up to it and get clean and change your life -or you let it control your life and die early.
Her family might have their own issues and problems but they are not totally responsible for Lindsey's problems
Lock her up and maybe then she will have a chance of changing and the opportunity to really live the life she is meant to have, by having people around her who can help her
Good luck
It is quite insulting for Libyans to have their leader accusing them of being drugged by Al Qaeda. These are people who's minds are very clear about what they want after all of these years of not having their freedom. You have killed hundreds or maybe even thousands of innocent protestors unnecessarily only wanting their freedom from you. A verse from the Koran comes to my imind that if you kill one person you are killing all of humanity. You are desparate and continually making up stories for who is at fault, when only you and your governmment are commiitting these crimes. Give the Libyan people their dignity and freedom and step down.
I have read President Obama's executive order against the goverment of Libya which was issued this evening. I am pleased to know this has been put into effect, but I wish more will be done soon to protect the people of Libya.

Yesterday, I read that the government is taking bodies from the morgue and burning them at the beach to make it look as though not many people have been killed. This is deeply disturbing.
