Romney on Palin's bus trip to New Hampshire: "In a lot of respects, it's the best thing that could have happened"

Mitt Romney is a guest this evening on "Piers Morgan Tonight" and talked about the day he made his announcement last week that he was running for President – and Sarah Palin happened to be in New Hampshire at the same time. "Palin is generating enthusiasm and interest in the campaign this year, and that's a good thing," Romney tells Piers Morgan. "She has a lot of energy and passion."

He says it "didn't ruin my day": "In a lot of respects, it's the best thing that could have happened to me. Right now your greatest enemy is over-exposure." Tune in for more of the interview tonight at 9pmET/PT.

What happened to Bill Maher? Wasn't he scheduled to appear last week?

Sarah Palin or Ron Paul will get the nomination, not Romneycare.

I would agree with you on Ron Paul but Really Sarah Palin???? My dog has more brains then her, besides she is no good for this country and would be no better then BO. We need someone that know what they are doing not another person that needs OJT (on the job training). She would probably quite half way through her term.

Funny watching Piers Morgan keep ignoring the difference of Romney's health plan being a state plan compared to federal. Piers kept saying they're the same thing. Ok... lets pretend Piers that State and Federal are the same. We'll also pretend you aren't a democratic hack.

Morgan's interview with Rommey was shockingly bad...a good interviewer actually 'listens" . Morgan either just didn't get it or he had his own agenda to expouse. Piers Morgan is not going to make it...he is no Larry King! While not a Rommey fan...he did use logic in his explaination.

Even Larry King said as much about himself when he was on "The View" yesterday. When asked about Piers Morgan Larry King said 'i left the "I" out of interviews.' And he did. He made the interview about the interviewee – not himself.

Piers . . . . Do you really want an honest answer from Mitt Romney or are you so interested in overriding his answer so you can push through your democratic views (so like all other liberal interviewers)? I truly wanted to hear what his views are on the issues so that I could form a decent opinion on his candidacy, but your constant interruptions made it difficult. What is obvious is that the American public cannot get a true honest interview from anyone on national television. Review your interview and see what the American people see . . .. CRAP! I won't be watching your show anymore.

Janet, what difference does it make!! Piers is running a talk show, not a debate. Not just getting at the issues, but at the man himself.

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ALREADY MADE YOUR MIND UP – Guess many of us are too liberal for you, and most conservatives are still living in 1955

Piers….I found your conversation and questioning of Mitt Romney about RomneyCare versus ObamaCare quite refreshing and honest with sincere intellectual curiosity. The Republican lie is that private insurance with some patches on the current system is workable. Except for the usual hits for tort reform, there is very little substance in Republican proposals. The Republican role is simply to oppose Democrat proposals by pointing to obvious shortcomings, and playing on the fears that voters may "lose their health insurance or doctors." In fact, people are going to lose their current healthcare, because it is being priced out of their reach. The Republicans give no voice for this issue...shame on them. As with the Democrats, they are also beholden to the campaign funding provided by special interests. Thank you again for your consistent intelligence and courage.

Look at the site that the US Library of Congress has archived for its historical significance. You see CNN and others refused to vet Obama. They covered for this unknown man who has only Marxists, bombers like Bill Ayers, Jew haters like Farakhan and Rev. Wright for friends. Shame on the press and the stupidity of the American people for allowing this treason on America. The case of Obama's eligibility is on the Supreme Court docket after the 5/2 hearing in CA. Obama should never have been allowed to run let alone take office.

If any other President had insulted our closest ally and only democracy in the Middle East, would the press had been quiet?
If any other President had allowed 911 victims’ families and our military troops to be insulted, would they have received a pass?
If any other President had allowed oil to leak into our gulf for 40 days before acting, would you view them as a leader?
If any other President had attacked patriotic citizens and called them racists and radical for simply rallying, would you consider them a uniting and positive force for real change or divisive?
    Obama is not Presidential.

Obama and his buddy Soros (known nation wrecker and Globalist) control the banks, oil, internet, insurance, car industry, unions, health care, and thousands of companies. They paid off NBC millions in bail out to carry the water for the Communist in charge. Wake up and demand that Obama be investigated. Who is he? Why did he seal his records on the first day in office. Why did he spend millions fighting giving out the REAL certified long form copy of his birth record? The same form we show to get a passport he could not be bothered showing until 4/27/11 RIGHT before the book "Where's The Birth Certificate" came out and the court case on his eligibility on 5/2/11. The case is on the Supreme Court docket as of 5/4/11. Criminal charges have been filed with the FBI.
