What we're reading: The latest on the Norway terror attacks and Amy Winehouse

Here's the latest from CNN on the Norway terror attacks and the death of Amy Winehouse:

• The suspect, Anders Behring Breivik, was in court today: "The suspect in the deadliest attack in Norway since World War II has acknowledged carrying out the mass shooting and bombing, and claims to have worked with two other cells, a judge said Monday...Police refused to release information about their investigation into the possibility that two cells aided Breivik, saying Monday that a court hearing was closed so as not to disclose information."

• An autopsy on Winehouse was inconclusive Monday: "Investigators may not know what killed singer Amy Winehouse until they get results from lab tests on her blood and tissue, due in about two to four weeks, according to Scotland Yard Monday...An autopsy was completed at St. Pancras Mortuary Monday afternoon, two days after the singer died in her London apartment."

Watch for more on both these stories during "Piers Morgan Tonight," this evening at 9pmET/PT.

    Dearest Piers,

Saw your tweet about police response etc. Alas Norway is ever so different from the UK.

Bear in in mnid that London has the population of Norway alone, and if Whitehall was struck out by a bomb, would the special ops be available on an island in a fairly big lake outside of Cambridge within minutes? Also take into consideration that nothing every happens in that part of the world, really, nothing ever really happens except for people going bananas over men and women who ski really fast.

Norwegians are different, we're not after the naming and shaming. It's just different. I've spent seven years in the UK and the British and Norwegians are in many ways alike, but we're oh so different at the same time.

    Thank you,

My heart bleeds for all the beautiful lives lost and for all the family and friends.
BBC had more or less portrayed this attack on Islamic and Al Quaida, full of theories on Muslim extremists. Though each of crime committed is a act of terrorism. Luckily I did not watch or hear any of the other media. I wonder what Fox News must have done with this news. I fear copy cats attackers are never far away. Glenn Beck, Herman Cain, Grover Norquist and all the other Fox/Talk Radio zealots freaks spinning hate are all adding this type of behavior no different to the Taliban's we are fighting.

We in America have become immune to all the terrorism act that take place daily in Gaza that takes place daily.
Free media for a safer world.
