Last night on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Mark Sanford talked about the 2012 GOP presidential contenders and the tea party influence. "Rick Perry has really excited folks across both social and financial circles in terms of he's sort of a hybrid of Bachmann and perhaps Romney," the former governor told Piers Morgan. "Whoever really captures the [tea party voter] I suspect will be the Republican nominee."
Also on the show was 2012 candidate Rep. Ron Paul, who talked about the other side:
Said Paul: "I think Democrats fear me, when they try to pick who they want to run against...they never bring up the subject that I would slash into Obama's civil libertarian viewpoints."
