Clips From Last Night: Jermaine Jackson on Murray verdict; Darrell Hammond on his childhood

Jermaine Jackson was a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" last night, and talked about his reaction to the Dr. Conrad Murray verdict. "I think Conrad Murray got what he deserved," Jackson told Piers Morgan. "I feel the same way before the verdict. I feel that Conrad Murray is the finger to a bigger hand...the charges should have been much greater."

Also on the show was comedian Darrell Hammond, who opened up about his childhood:

Said Hammond: "What I wanted to write about when a victim to some kind of abuse agrees to stay quiet about it...and that's kind of what happened in our house."

What is Jermain afraid of? It seems to me if Dr. Murray was found guilty it wouldn't matter what Dr. Murray says on an interview. Jermain is afraid of the Beatle catalogue truth. Dr. Murray knows the truth. I don't know if he will say something about John Lennon and the Beatle catalogue but Jermain is afraid of what truth will come out about how Michael was a fraud with the Beatle catalogue.

Piers come on you are better than allowing the jackson family to say what they want!!!!!!!!! why did you not ask about the fact that they are not trying to stop the bed MJ died in being auctioned? why did you not point out the obvious that if not Conrad Murray it would be another DR and you are in a position to question what the judge would not allow, and many more questions you normaly would ask!! this family has got questions to answer too and I really thought you would go for it!!!!!!

Very articulate setntmeat from Matthews. However, he forgets that Edward R. Murrow used to do the news with a trained chimp on The Today Show in the 50s. He started out doing exactly the kind of news Matthews condemns. The other issue that he doesn't mention is the birth of 24 hour news channels, that have an insatiable hunger for talking heads and pundits to fill air time. That's where we're getting all these ranting morons getting air time. Someone like Glenn Beck would have been confined to regional radio back in the day but now he has a national TV platform. That's the real difference.
