Sandusky's lawyer: "I believe that mentally and emotionally he is much more on par with a teenager"
Karl Rominger, co-counsel for former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, joined Piers Morgan last night in an exclusive interview about the child sex abuse scandal rocking the nation. Piers asked Rominger about Sandusky’s admission that he enjoys “horseplay” with young boys, and Rominger defended his client’s actions. “I do think it’s strange behavior for a man of that age,” he said. “By his chronological age, I agree. By his mental and emotional maturity, however – that’s a separate question...I believe that mentally and emotionally he is much more on par with a teenager than he is a 60-year-old.”
He also talked about his client unexpectedly waiving his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday.
Rominger explained why his team gave up the chance to examine witnesses before the trial. “We do have extensive information that we’ve developed on our own,” said Rominger. “We have already seen that McQueary’s testimony is falling apart. He’s basically set by the grand jury to be an incredibly credible witness and now he’s turned out to be discredible.”

i had a neighbor i caught molesting a retaded kid {14 to 16 years old] in 2007.police came ,left never seem them again till like 3 months later went they came and give me the riot act that i better leave him alone.after that day cameras went up all over his house. called police to tell them that it was making wife afraid, they wouldnt let us make a report .we werent allowed to talk the the police cheif for several months.anyhow they said the cameras could be pointed right in our windows and to bad for us.remember im the one that months earlier caught him molesting the boy.anyways im still fight all this even thou the molester has unlimited conections in the courts .ihave been trying my best to do the right thing but this has changed my life to the point i sometimes fill the molesters in my area have freinds in our gov. here that they get lots of access to kids.im sorry my point of commeting was to say my neighbor is highly educated but when the law went against me he played the dumb inocint victom.he had them beleaveing that he was a retard.these people know him and his family they know hes facking but cover for him because of i guess the money or maybe some of them are like minded.so dont let sandusky get away with acting he didnt know better he seems at least as intelligence as my child molesting neighbbor is .from first hand dealing i got the long version of all the tricks of trying to avoid being caught.remember there swift after all they swift our children into beleaveing that what there doing to them is ok but they not allowed to tell there parents ive never seen swifter than that have you

sorry because of family troubles when i was young i only made it to seventh grade so i try to do the best i can.sure wish i had more schooling because i have alot to tell .guess i should not try to help becuase of my lack of schooling but i have a hard time not tyring to speaking up when it involes something as bad as child molesting.
Thank you for sharing, James, and I hope that you continue to try to help this child. More people need to talk about these issues rather than pretending as if atrocities like this do not occur everyday. We need to do more to protect young people from abuse, neglect, and maltreatment and I think that awareness and discussion is a good first step.

The oil leak is stopped for now as the cap on the well is wroking. The two relief wells will soon be in operation and when they are they will insert the mud and cement that will permanently seal the leaking well and then the relief wells will be used to pump oil to ships that will store it and transfer it to land based processors. The relief wells will reduce the pressure on the leaking well. There is still the possibility the relief wells may not be able to push the mud and cement into the leaking well and that would create a whole new problem for BP.
Well, doesn't it make the story so much more believable coming now than in front of the grand Jury and in the previous months of interviews. You've got to hand it to the guy: He's an absolute saint. Of course he didin't want to get his clothes wet so he didn't wear any. Yep, it really passes the smell test alright.
The officials at Penn State and the fired officials must be terrified that he's going to cut a deal and testify against them.
