Still glowing from his thrilling victory at Augusta National, on Tuesday Bubba Watson visited "Piers Morgan Tonight" for a primetime exclusive interview.
Reliving the epic escape shot he used on Sunday's second playoff hole, the 33-year-old Floridian reveals that even facing a pressure-packed environment like The Masters, he never doubts his skills, or his game:
"I trust everything...every ounce of my body, I trust it all. I trust my abilities, I trust I can do it," Watson tells Piers Morgan. "And that was the whole day. I just kept trusting."
A free-swinging southpaw who's never taken a formal golf lesson, Watson credits family for his strong values, and humble approach:
"Growing up, the way we grew up, money's not a big important thing to us. We don't care about money, we didn't care about being famous, showing off, or anything like that," explained Watson. "So that moment, just overwhelms you. Because it is, it's just for my mom, for my dad – my late dad, my grandparents, my new baby boy, my wife, just everybody that's influenced me. It just all comes together in once."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as golf's newest hero shares insight and perspective gained only by slipping on a "Green Jacket."
