On Friday, Piers Morgan rolled out the red carpet and welcomed two-time Emmy Award winning actress Cynthia Nixon for a candid and revealing primetime interview.
Fresh off a Tony nomination for her starring role in Broadway's "Wit," Nixon drew motivation for her part as a cancer patient, from her own personal bout with the disease:
"You call it a battle with cancer. To me, that seems [like] such a big word," Nixon explained. "I mean, I feel like I - I had a cancer diagnosis... To me, it was like a - a medical bump in the road that is not fun, you know, but you kind of grit your teeth and you get through it."
While that cancer diagnosis helped her relate to the role, she also drew on another experience to help depict the discomfort:
"There is a point later on in the play when my character, Vivian, is in incredible, incredible pain," Nixon detailed. "And my only experience with being in - incredible pain was childbirth."
Also on Friday, "Piers Morgan Tonight" invited Jennifer Love Hewitt to the program. Joining the host in studio, the actress known for "Party of Five" and "Ghost Whisperer" currently stars in Lifetime's "The Client List," a series which featured some very racy billboards upon its launch.
Recently, Jimmy Kimmel used his late night talk show to present the 33-year-old with a giant poster of her own cleavage.
"There was nothing more terrifying in my whole life than turning around and seeing them look like that," Hewitt exclaimed, referring to her own breasts.
Upon receiving criticism, the show released a more reserved version of its promotional campaign, something that surprised the Hollywood veteran:
"Living in L.A. for a really long time I thought the idea was always to have bigger boobs, not smaller," Hewitt noted.
