David Axelrod on Joe Biden's comments: "That is the president's policy"

Coming up tonight at 9 p.m., Piers Morgan welcomes David Axelrod, the Obama campaign's senior strategist, for a timely and engaging interview centered around recent comments made by the vice president.

On Sunday, Joe Biden appeared on NBC's "Meet The Press," revealing his personal feelings on the subject of gay marriage:

"I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women and heterosexual men and women marrying men, are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties," Biden told David Gregory.

This evening on "Piers Morgan Tonight," Axelrod says the president concurs:

"I feel, Piers, that on the policy that the vice president was describing there, that they are in complete accord. That is the president's policy. He believes that couples, heterosexual couples, - gay couples should - should have - have the same legal rights," shares Axelrod. "So what the vice president was stating there was very much in keeping with that policy."

Advancing the interview, Morgan asks Axelrod if Obama has shown an inconsistency between simply supporting gay rights, versus believing in gay marriage, as it has been legalized in eight states:

"The president is very much in accord with the rights of those states and the people in those states to do it," responds tonight's guest. "He wants to make sure that if people are legally married in those states, that those marriages are - are recognized just as marriages between men and women are - are recognized."

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m., as Barack Obama's former Senior Adviser defends the charge that the president was "spiking the football" with his recent trip to Afghanistan.

I am so tired of Piers Morgan "pimping" for the Obama Campaign. Nothing but " softball " Questions for Axelrod & cross examination for Gillespie> And it goes on and on. Cnn cannot hide behind their obvious agenda to help Obama by being his own personal media campaigners!

How dare you say that The President lacks courage with regard to the rights of Gay Americans. He has done more than any President in history. A lack of courage is to stand on stage while a gay man serving our country gets booed while asking a question and saying nothing in his defense. Also, why didn't you askGillespie what Mitt plans to do to put people back to work. He complains but never offers solutions.

Obama does nothing for anyone unless it is good for him. He runs for re-election because that is all he knows how to do! He straddles the fence on every issue instead of offering solutions, His pattern is obvious... stall & create crises and divide the country... student loans, gay rights, women's issues, etc. while the USA Chokes on his lack of leadership on Trillion dollar debt, stagnant economy, do- nothing foreign policy.. the list goes on & on... and the world, esp. Iran, China laugh at his incompetence & Left-wing Pandering!

Piers made the comment that he is a Catholic and that he is FOR gay marriage. My question is this; how can you
claim to be a Christian and believe God's Word, the Bible? You can't ! What part of "Go & sin no more do you not
understand. You either believe God's Word or you don't. If you don't, please have the balls to stop saying you
    are a Christian.

Let's face it.. Piers is a "pimp" for Cnn, who are "pimps" for Obama! They only follow one tenet: If it's good for Obama we feature it, if it's not..we attack it... meaning "softball" questions for Obama guests & cross-examinations for "token" guests who don't support their "Mna"! Clear?

The comment at the end of the show today was massively uninformed. Obesity is not created equal. Different people have different solutions. I have a long history I would love to share but don't want to type it all out. Please contact me if you would care to hear more.
I could not believe what can out of a usually intelligent man. Run down a hill several times....good grief!

I have been browsing on-line more than 3 hours as of late, but I never found any interesting article like yours. It's beautiful worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made just right content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
