Tito Jackson on Dr. Conrad Murray: "I forgive him"

Coming up this evening at 9 p.m., "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomes the Jacksons for a revealing and heartwarming primetime exclusive.

Sitting down with Piers Morgan for their first interview since the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, older brothers Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, and Jackie open up about their individual feelings toward Conrad Murray, Michael's personal doctor:

"I feel like we're supposed to have forgiving hearts," says Tito, of the man found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in November. "Doesn't mean I have to forget. I have a forgiving heart. Sure, I forgive him."

Jermaine, meanwhile, does not echo his brother's sentiments:

"No, no. I don't feel that way at all. I feel like it's just negligence," he tells Morgan. "It's on his part and others. And we're yet to know what really, really happened. I'm a forgiving person, but not when it comes to that."

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. as the Jacksons reveal details of their upcoming "Unity Tour." Also, join us Monday as Morgan welcomes the Jackson matriarch – Katherine – for a candid face to face sit down.

With all my respect Mr. Morgan, are you out of suject to have the Jacksons as guests? why do they use Michael fame to be under the spotlight, they should make their own fame. Keep the level of credibility and profesionalism instead of going on the cheap side

With my condolences to the Jackson family, and the loss of their son, brother, etc., I think it is really sad that the only focus to his death was blamed on Dr. Conrad. Their was no mention to the fact that Michael Jackson was a drug addict and that at the end of the day, he needed help which none of his CLOSE family was able to see??????? It is a very basic story with the same ending....a rock star with a drug problem, that payed for drugs which were provided, and died from it. It was the same with Elivis, etc.....let's not forget that it is truly at the request of the addict and their own actions which are their demise.

A Dr., no matter where they practice needs to put their morals before their wallet. No one can get those types of drugs with out a Dr's signature..Sadly I have seen it with my own husband..they pump you full of pain meds and then call you an addict. It's easy they need to be responsible for their actions. All they have to do is say NO

Well here we go a-fricking-gain. This was NOTHING like Elvis' death. Elvis put the drugs that killed him into his own body, with no Dr. present. Michael DID NOT put the drugs that killed him into his own body, the Dr. did!! The same Dr. he had there to help him sleep and was under the impression that this Dr. was there every minute to monitor him. This is why Doctor Conrad Murray is in JAIL.

Melanie, I absolutely agree with what you said. Elvis's death was caused by drugs he, himself, put into his body. Michael's death was caused by a greedy, uncaring and unethical so-called doctor who I believe knew exactly what he was doing and was paid by those who wanted Michael out of the way. Hopefully, one day, the names of all involved will surface.

Susan, you are the ones who really get to me when you say untruths about Michael Jackson. The true fact remains: LOOK AT THE AUTOPSY REPORT!!! There were no signs that he was a drug addict!!! Please google it and read the facts for yourself!! Michael's kidneys and liver were in impeccable condition, something that would have existed if he was a so-called drug addict. You see my dear, this is what the press did to Michael for years .. they lied on him. Often times I wonder how such a loving, giving, caring man could have endured all of this criticism and false allegations. I know that I could have never sustained it. How I wish that you and everyone else that is so misinformed would leave Michael alone. If all of us could be like Michael, then this world would truly be a better place for

Exactly, Kathe. Look at the autopsy report. WAKE UP PEOPLE. What more do you need to know. Get the facts! Michael was not an addict. He could not sleep and was working so hard rehearsing. He trusted Murray and Murray told him he would be monitoring him at all times. It is my belief that Murray was being paid to "do away" with Michael and he thought he would be able to convince a jury that Michael injected himself with the propofol, which experts testified would be absolutely impossible. Murray changed his story several times as to what happened.

No signs of drug abuse...are you nuts. Do you see how many drugs, the doses it took to get my under and asleep..he frickin needed an anesthetic to knock him out, basically put into a coma)...he had so many benzos at huge doses, one of those drugs would have knocked out anyone of us. I'm a huge MJ fan..but don't be stupid or naive, for pete's sake.

@SusanD, and you know how that Michael was a "drug addict". At autopsy, the only "drugs" in his system were those administered by Murray. I do agree Michael had emotional difficulties since the bogus witchhunt trial in 2005, and where were his close family members during his time of need? His family didn't see his need for emotional sustenance because, frankly, they didn't physically see Michael at all during the last few years of his life except one time to ask for money and to ask him to tour with them, both of which were refused. At the end of the day, Conrad Murray killed Michael Jackson; Conrad Murray was a doctor who first vowed to do no harm and then with "anything for money" as the bait, killed his patient. He shoudl be doing more than 4 (er rather 2) years.

SusanD: Mr. Jackson was no drug addict. If you had seen the Murray trial from beginning to end you would know it. If you had read the autopsy report and the toxicity report you would know it. If you had done some research you would know it. You are just believing what the tabloids tell you. They never told the truth about him. But Mr. Jackson hat a sleep problem and needed a therapy for that, which Dr. Murray didn't provide to him. And WHY did he have a sleep problem? You ever asked yourself that question? This man experiened the most evil witch hunt ever done to a famous person. I would like to see your state of mind after such a trial that you had to go through as an innocent person.

I'd say it was all a plot to get his music catalogue! I think there are others involved too besides Murray! Its great to see everyone in support of Michael! The tabloids have tarnished his image to such an extent that its so hard to convince others! Why will he take drugs? He had addiction in early 90s & there was a reason for it! He asked for help from everyone possible, including Lisa! He knew he'd be killed & that's what happened! He was killed in such a way that everyone thought he killed himself! Michael always kept himself away from drugs! It became difficult because of all the weird stuff he had to deal with in his life! Please, don't call him an addict! Murray gave him propofol which he was not supposed to give! A doctor should not gibe anaesthetic! I wonder if Tommy MOttola is also involved in his death or not! Michael gave some names to LaToya & Lisa Marie Presley! They know who those people are!!

We all wonder who exactly was involved in Michael's death. There were others besides Murray involved and, hopefully, one day soon, those involved will be brought to justice. Who paid Murray to murder Michael??? Was it Thome? He seemed awfully anxious to get all the employees out of the house the day of Michael's death and what right did he have to insist everyone leave.?? Was it Motolla. We all know how he hated Michael. OR, was it a certain individual employed by AEG?

Michael Jackson was the victim of the media. He was harassed, persecuted, tormented, tortured and intimidated by the media. The consequence of this was the death of an innocent man. Until now, the media do not apologized. Nobody thought why MJ could not sleep. No man in history was not as tortured as Michael Jackson. His pain, suffering and death is the result of many years of inhuman attacks.

The Jackson "4" didn't tour for 30 years, although they constantly harrassed Michael to tour with them, which he declined to do. Now that they have no choice but to tour on their own, there they are, out there riding again on their brother's coattails. Listen to J5 songs, whose voice do you hear? Michael Jackson, that's who, and they are no more than a good backup band without him.

AGREED! The brothers did not want to work as hard as Michael did. Michael gave his all and was the one who made the Jackson 5 as famous as they were. Without Michael, they would have gone nowhere.

You know I hate it when people act as though the Jacksons have no right to do anything musically without Michael. That is all these boys have ever known and that's what they were groomed to do since they were children. No, not a one of them could do it on their own without Michael and for whatever reason Michael chose to go it on his own without them. They have every right to tour or do anything these choose to do. Journey does it without Steve Perry and Chicago does it without Peter Cetera. Look at the Beach Boys who are still touring in spite of the fact that Brian Wilson and Mike Love are the only ones left and Brian didn't tour with them for years. If fans want to go and support them let them do it and don't begrudge them for wanting to.

Yes, Piers, much better job in not defamining the dead this time around.
@jules52, the Jackson brothers can do what they want as far as touring; no one begrudges them anything. But why are you calling them "boys"? They are supposed to men in their 50's and beyond. They lived off Michael and their mother all their lives; as you say, they weren't much without Michael in the group; what about getting jobs like the rest of us for, oh, I don't know, the last 30 years? The Victory Tour was on the heels of MJ's incredible success with Thriller; now they want to tour again in part, on the incredible sorrow of Michael's passing at the hands of a greedy scoundrel. Eh

@juney07 – your response is basically what I'm talking about. You and others who share your same opinion about the Jackson family do to the Jackson family what haters did and still do to Michael. You are making suppositions about their motives for doing anything and then you go on to repeat tabloid garbage about what they've been doing the past 30 years and how they are living off of Michael and their mother. How on earth would you, me or anyone else know for sure about any of that? We wouldn't! Secondly, since you are splitting hairs – I didn't mean they were actually boys (even though they are boys, males, men – whatever), what I meant was since they were boys their path was directed for them rather than what they may have personally wanted to do in their lives.

Of course, as I stated in my post they singularly or together as the 4 of them or 5 if Randy decided to join the group – have never or will never be the same without Michael. You are begruding them the opportunity to tour by your comment (if you don't think so please go back and read it again). How on earth could they have possibly toured when Michael was alive? I mean they could have, but no one would be interested in seeing them without Michael because Michael was the star always! But since he's gone and as Jackie said – these "men" still have fans themselves who have stated they want to see them tour so let them give it a try without making unnecessary comments about them. I personally wouldn't want to go to see them without Michael just as I wouldn't want to see Journey without Steve Perry even though the replacement sounds similar nor would I go and see the Beach Boys without the whole group (which can't be done since most of them are dead). It would be the same with the Bee Gees. If Barry was the one that died – it wouldn't be the same if the other 2 toured without him – but who are we to judge if they wanted to same with the Jacksons. I really hate that fans are so hateful toward various members of his family without justification. One "fan" who runs a blog and on said blog quite often trashes Jermaine and Katherine went so far as to be on twitter telling Paris what her father would or would not have wanted her to do.

In an interview Michael did in the 70's, he said that fans think because they listen to your records and have posters on their walls of the Jackson 5, think they know you when in fact they don't. I find that to be very true.

Just as some of the posters on here claim that Michael was a "drug addict," they totally dismiss his autopsy and totally act as though Murray was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. For the one person who spoke about how he had to be knocked out with anesthesia – have you ever suffered from insomnia? It's one of the most debilitating things anyone can have. Until you have had even one of the same issues that Michael had with his health, you can never know why he made the choices that he did.

Respectfully, the first line of my comment says I don't begrudge them anything, tour at will if that is their desire. However, where professionally were any of them prior to Michael's passing? Any of them could have maintained a career after Michael went solo; it seems the only one who did was Jermaine. I've seen nearly all his interviews over the past three years. Neither he nor the others have stood up enough for their deceased brother when lies are still spoken and published about Michael. It's very disheartening. But check their twitter avatar @theJacksons. Michael's picture front and center. Have you seen The Jacksons, An American Dream, produced by Jermaine Jackson in 1992, wherein Joseph is depicted as a very harsh taskmaster, particularly aggressive toward Michael and Marlon; yet in this Piers interview, all four express a decidedly opposite view of JJ's treatment. I agree with you that most fans and MJ supporters do not "know" the Jacksons. My conclusions are based on the actions (or failures to act) of certain Jackson siblings over the past three years, as revealed through their own spoken words at interviews. I wish them well on their tour; however, no further exploitation of Michael or his children is required. Peace.

Michael Jackson's death was a massive shock for annyoe who loves the arts in general, though looking back at his life it was possibly not so surprising. The child abuse charges brought upon him impacted him greatly. Once he began to abuse drugs to merely get by, that was when there definitely was no way back, in my humble opinion.

The amount of sleep we need, and its pattern, changes with age. Small babies spend most of their time asleep; children need more sleep than adults, and small children need a nap during the day. Sleep patterns change again during adolescence. Most adults need about 7 or 8 hours sleep per night, although some people seem to need less, and some a bit more. Older people often go back to sleeping for shorter periods and have a nap during the day.,`-"
