Coming up this evening at 9 p.m., "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomes Katherine Jackson for a candid, face to face interview.
On the heels of Mother's Day, the Jackson matriarch joins Piers Morgan for a worldwide exclusive, opening up about the 2009 death of her son:
"Every morning, every - all through the day, I think about Michael," says the mother of 10. "If I wake up through the night, my mind is there."
Calling upon her devout religious beliefs, Jackson tells the host she plans to one day be reunited with the "King of Pop":
"I just miss him. But being a Christian and believing in the resurrection, I feel that I'll see him again."

Seems like you need to go back and the read the bible. Truth of it is, even if MJ was guilty, God still loves him. If he believed in Jesus, he'll be in Heaven. Get over it. Joey – the 1993 case was an extortion plot. MJ wanted to cut his tour short and come home and go to court. His lawyers were the ones who paid off the kid because that was a drop in the bucket compared to what would be made or lost on the tour. Shame on you – for showing your blind ignorance. Jackson was acquitted by a conservative white jury – if you bothered to look at the trial transcripts you would see that there was no evidence to suggest any wrong doing on his part. He was thoroughly investigated by the department of children and family services, as well as being tracked by the FBI , with no evidence found to suggest that he had ever harmed a child. The settlement you refer to was made f by Jackson's insurance company, against his wishes, and was a settlement for negligence and nothing more. Unfortunately it was not a wise move as it marked him as a "soft" target for extortion attempts. Stop judging the man purely based on what you have read in the tabloid press and on tacky TV...look for the Truth!
I am going to add to what Pendragon said. Jackson was against settling. You have to remember it happened at a time when he was on his Dangerous world tour. Hundreds of millions of dollars were at stake in scheduled concerts all over Asia. The liability of cancelling those concerts to fight the charges were too great. Lawsuits would have followed by the thousands from suppliers, vendors, broken contracts, ticket holders, Jackson employees, etc. Settling out of court was the only logical way and it was completely covered by insurance. Jackson was against settling, but he didn't have a lot of choice because of the liabilities I've mentioned above.

I'm sure she doesn't remember, but we shared the backseaat of a car when we were both driven from the Talk of the Town Resort Hotel in Aruba to the Aruba TV station on a Wednesday evening in July, 1973, when her sons were to perform on the weekly Talk of the Town TV show. I believe they sang, "If you ever leave me, I'll never, never..." I lived in an American colony on Aruba in 1946-7 (Lago/Esso–site of world's largest oil refinery), and when the social director of the hotel learned that, she asked if I would be interviewed on the program. I agreed, so Katherine Jackson and I shared a back seat as we were driven to the Tv station by two people from the hotel. We struck up a little conversation. I recall only one thing she said, that all this traveling was rather strenuous, but she really didn't mind because her boys enjoyed what they were doing so much. I also recall that she was a very pleasant person. I'm so sorry about Michael. By some coincidence, we were in Aruba again when we heard the news on June 25, 2009–this time at a reunion.

Actually I am episcopal. I attended church for years. The last time was actually when my grandfather passed away of pneumonia from Remicaid. I do blame the pharmacutical companies because a drug like that can cause pneumonia. He also lost the use of his legs while on that drug. I am also a musician. Before his death he tried to expose a lot of the same issues that I write about in my music like GMOs, prescription drugs, fluoridated water, geoengineering, corrupt bankers, homeless youth and adults, starving children, individuals and families, chemicals, the decline of the honey bees, poverty..... and the price that we all have to pay. As a mother I grieve for Mrs. Jackson; however, again, she is being used by certain individuals to hawk their wares, first Howard Mann, then Melissa Johnson, now this Brett Strong selling Michael's art. The Estate of Michael Jackson has filed a law suit against Strong and Michael's last manager, Thome Thome, for theft of this art. Thome claims Michael gave him the right to give the art to Strong; the estate is challenging this; why would Michael give his precious valuable art to Strong, even a person whom he knew for years, rather than leave it for his children. Tohme is a crook who helped bring Michael Jackson down. Mrs. Jackson, bless her heart (and obvious from some tabloid statements she made last evening) simply is not aware of much that went on in the last years of her son's life. She is being exploited by those seeking to make $$ off Michael's name, still to this day. God is watching.

We all smiled continued up that beautiful hill and we knew we had made it. We left a picture ; as we did everything in our power to see his resting place; through the blacked out stained glass windows.I will love and miss your son forever.

Great interview. I was in tears. As someone who met Michael, Michael was a wonderful person. His death proves how much he was loved otherwise no one would care and he would not be honored. Good men never die and there good works will never die. yes, there is always going to haters; but when HATERS DIE, NO ONE will care about those haters or their stupid comments- but the person (Michael) admired will CONTINUE to live on and be loved.
