As new evidence is released in the Trayvon Martin case, tonight Piers Morgan welcomes Mark O'Mara for his expert analysis and reaction.
Limited by legal guidelines, O'Mara is unable to speak about the discovery material specifically. However, he does share his thoughts on the process to this point:
"Well, we knew it was coming. It's several pieces of the puzzle that we now have to put together," says George Zimmerman's defense attorney. "I would only ask that everyone wait until we have the whole pieces – all of them together – to look and see what the whole picture is."
With more discovery to come, including a whole series of depositions, the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host asked about the possibility of the case never making it to trial:
"Well the only way that would happen, of course, is if some resolution beforehand, and that could include any type of pretrial motions that might end in the dismissal of the charges," says tonights guest. "But we're way too early to decide what motions and what their possibility of success would be."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. as O'Mara details the role Florida's "stand your ground" law may play as the case continues.
