READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
On Friday, Piers Morgan welcomed musical artist Cee Lo Green for an honest and entertaining sit down interview.
Joining the host for a face to face exclusive, Green detailed the rapid rise of his hit song "Forget You":
"We had some clue it would be noticeable," the guest revealed. Telling the tale of a trip across the pond during the song's release, Green explained the timeline:
"By the time we landed, like an eight-hour trip from Atlanta, it was a smash record."
Though the track's original title is a bit more provocative, Green was prepared for the song to reach people. "It connected exactly the way I would have wanted it," he said.
On Friday, Morgan also had a doctor's appointment, as television's Dr. Oz made a house call to the studio. Mehmet Oz took the host's blood pressure, and then checked the pulse of the nation's health care:
"We are spending most of our time in American health care fixing the mistakes that either we in the profession are causing or our patients, without recognizing, causing to themselves," Oz said. "We estimate 20 to 25% of the health care expenses, a huge amount of money is driven by the bureaucracy, fear of making mistake mistakes, [it] might be significantly more than that."
So, what does Dr. Oz prescribe?
"You can not be a wealthy country if you are not a healthy country."
Watch the clips, and listen to the interviews, as Green and Oz each share their assessments of America, from music to medicine.
