A Primetime Exclusive: Michael Vick

Tonight, Michael Vick sits down with Piers Morgan for a primetime exclusive. The Quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles is ready to talk about his life outside football and his second chance at life both on the field and off.

In April 2007, Vick was implicated in an illegal interstate dog fighting ring that had operated over five years. Then in August of the same year, he pleaded guilty and spent 21 months in prison, followed by 2 months in home confinement. Now Vick is ready to talk about hitting bottom in his new book "Michael Vick: Finally Free, An Autobiography."

Tune in at 9pm for the full, honest interview as Vick talks about hitting bottom and rising back to the top.

Michael Vick should be shot, stabbed, hung, drowned and electrocuted. Prison was much too kind of punishment for such an evil person. He's on my list of people to hunt down in the after life.

I feel for people who have an unforgiving heart. The bible says if you don't forgive, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive you.

Anne, some things are just so morally reprehensible, that it is beyond mere mortals to forgive them. This is one of those things for most people. The fact that you can forgive him, leads me to believe you never thought what he did was that bad in the first place. That makes you almost as repulsive as mv is, imho.

To chime in on what others have said. To forgive is one thing but if you really want to know exactly what Michael Vick did read "The Lost Dogs". He did much worse than have a dog fighting ring. He killed several dogs (the one's that weren't aggressive enough). Furthermore, he lied about even knowing about the whole fighting ring and put the blame on his cohorts. He also blamed his race. It wasn't until the others turned on him and told authorities exactly what he did.
So, to forgive is one thing but the fact that he also murdered, in my eyes, is unforgivable. He got off easy.

It's one thing to forgive, but Michael Vick should not have been allowed to return to make huge amounts of money in
football......that is unless he donated 90% of it to animal welfare groups. He would still be better off than most of the
population! We paid to house and feed him in prison..........
Now he writes a book...........he should not be able to keep that money either!

One must first repent to be forgiven of their sins. Also, Michael Vick isn't being criticized for committing a sin......he committed atrocious CRIMES!!!! Nobody seems to notice that he skips around the issue that has folks so riled up and that is the fact that he TORTURED DOGS TO DEATH!!! SAY IT OUT LOUD MICHAEL VICK!! ADMIT IT OUT LOUD AND THEN YOU MIGHT GET SOMEONE TO BELIEVE YOU ARE SINCERE!

I could never forgive someone who spins the ugly truth by proclaiming that he "has helped more dogs than he hurt." He got that line from his BFF Wayne Pacelle, who has defended his cohort by declaring that Michael Vick has "saved ten times more dogs than he hurt." Has Vick really saved the lives of more than 500 dogs? What does that mean, anyway? Most appalling is the use of the word "HURT" Even Jeffrey Dahmer expressed genuine remorse for the innocents he tortured and killed. Dahmer is one of the few – maybe the only – serial killer/psychopath who wanted to go into the general population in prison, knowing that he would be killed by inmates. He was – not long after he was imprisoned.

Michael Vick, on the other hand, is "finally free" to have a wedding that was described as befitting a head of state. He is free to portray himself as part of the solution to animal cruelty, free to be a sociopath on a book tour. Too bad the dogs he "hurt" will never get a chance for freedom.

Exactly!!! I find it sooo hypocritical of these folks who make all this fuss about Michael Vick (who was convicted by our justice system and served the penalty handed out by the law). Yet these same folks say nothing about the more serious atrocities being committed against HUMAN BEINGS in the world today.

This reminds me of a case several years ago in California where a woman killed her husband because her husband was upset that she (and their daughter) were draining the family's resources to raise horses. They cared more about the bloody horses.

What you vick nut huggers need to realize is that vick had the money to humanely euthanize the dogs he didn't want, he had a vet tech that came to the house of horrors on a regular basis, this could have been done. Instead, he chose to electrocute, drown, hang, and beat them to death. Tell me, what do you think that says about mv? Ok, you're gonna say, well dead is dead. Tell me, vick nut hugger, would you rather be tortured to death or given a lethal injection? Oh ic, you'd rather be tortured right.. go ahead and say it, you either see nothing wrong with torturing an innocent animal to death (which makes you equally as repulsive as is he) or you think just because you perceive him to be talented on a football field, or either you would take up for Jeffrey Dahmer if he was black.. it's one of those three things, which makes you as reprehensible as he is..

TRACY, He already gave a ton of money to the Humane Society of the U.S., through the Eagles ($50,000) and through his wealthy colleagues and supporters (lots more than $50,000). That is one of the main reasons serial golddigger Wayne Pacelle, the HSUS CEO, partnered with Vick in the first place. If you have been hoodwinked by those TV ads to donate to the "U.S. Humane Society, you are not alone. Please read through the comments here before you make that mistake again. And do read "The Indictment of Wayne Pacelle" online for the truth about HSUS and Michael Vick, among other outrages.

I totally understand the angry words and hatred towards Vick, but I have to leave my emotions and personal convictions aside on this one. I feel that everyone deserves a second chance if they prove genuine remorse for their actions. Only time will tell if he's genuine.

If you read the facts - the court transcripts and activities that transpired over X years up leading up to prison - it shows that Vick played a far deeper role in that ring and evaded most responsibility up until the last minute ... thinking he could get off with a fine, apology, and a couple sensitivity classes.

I had no expectations or sympathy before watching Piers' interview with Vick. I'm an animal lover, and someone working through my local shelter in the Midwest to lead the crusade that raise awareness around the loving, wonderful animals that pit bulls can be. Therefore, the whole situation truly sickens me, and reminds me what happens DAY AFTER DAY in this country to animals who are truly and wholly dependent on us. However, I personally just have to find forgiveness and hope, based on all Vick's doing through the US Human Society's guidance, some of this will sink in, that he's truly repentant, and he'll serve as a very visible, vocal example out there.

If you're REALLY, TRULY outraged about all this and a true crusader for animals, I ask that you re-direct your energy to those who enable people like Vick ... for better and for worse:

*Maybe to the Eagles who hired him? Are they validating his behavior? Should we be angry with them?

*To the US Human Society. Go to their site, and see how they're humbly, graciously letting go of their anger and outrage by using Vick as a platform to minimize/prevent future such behavior.

*To YOURSELVES & your community – Vick's a single example of what happens EVERY DAY. Go do something about it by donating money, time, services to your local shelter. Maybe foster or adopt a pit bull yourself and encourage others to adopt through shelters, for that matter.

How much did HSUS pay you to post that drivel? Your defense of the group has been stated before, by both paid staff and unemployed shills with nothing else to do during the day. I know HSUS is desperate to counter the outpouring of comments regarding their pit bull killing scandals, credit theft, Vick dog fundraising fraud, Fay/Faye fundraising scam, and so much more. Unfortunately for HSUS, the MANY knowledgeable animal loving HSUS critics on this site are winning the debate.

There is nothing humble or gracious about the HSUS. They never had anger to channel into helping combat dogfighting. It was always just a way to get money and publicity and a vehicle to pass legislation that hasn't made a dent in the problem. How else could they spin their mutually opportunistic work with Vick? And their website is the last place anyone should go to learn about their "work."

The cat has been out of the bag about the HSUS for several years now, and the damage control babble isn't working. I think you know that.

I read Lost Dogs and was devastated by the words on the pages, everyone needs to read it and stop making this man a millionaire and a comeback hero- what example does this set for kids? It is sickening what these dogs went through. I can not beleive Vick had the nerve to say his kids want a dog and he was considering it, and if he did get a dog it wouldnt be a pit bull. So its okay for him to abuse the pits he owned previously to the point of a cruel death, but the pits arent good enough to be a dog for his kids. I feel he has lost all rights to own any dog and if he wants one let him go dig up one from the many graves on his owned property and see if he has the power to bring it back to life and give it the chance it never had. I just hope he does not repent of his wrong doing and goes to hell in his next life.

Anyone who finds Michael Vick's over-the-top self-promotion tour repellant can thank the Charity Watch D rated Humane Society of the United States for making it possible. The H$U$ was the only animal group to agree to Vick's PR team's demands. The ASPCA, Best Friends and even wacky PETA refused to actively support his return to the NFL. The USDA reports revealing the extent of his violent involvement was the deal breaker. Of course, the camera-loving HSUS CEO Wayne Pacelle jumped at the chance to reform Vick's image, because it would benefit HSUS and increase his own celebrity. Vick gets his career back, HSUS gets 24/7 fundraising opportunities and years of media attention that that continues with this book. Countless animal advocates all too familiar with HSUS tactics know it's not about the dogs. The $200 million HSUS even accepted $50,000 from the Eagles to start an anti-dogfighting project in Philadelphia. Just last week, a local newspaper article revealed that the program was a failure. So was there spinoff in Atlanta, which imploded for a variety of reasons, racism included.

HSUS has lied about shutting down "100 major organized dogfighting rings" and "caring for thousands of maimed" canine victims. The opposite is true. Wayne Pacelle and his dogfighting expert, J.P. Goodwin (a high school dropout with a long arrest record and conviction for "economic sabotage" of farms and fur retailers) actively lobbied to have the Vick dogs killed, even while raising millions "for their care." HSUS only changed the sales pitch after they had e-mailed over a million people and only when the Virginia State Attorney ordered them to end the scam.

Unlike Wayne Pacelle, numbers don't lie. Dogfighting arrests, convictions and sentences are actually DOWN since the Vick case, and the successful raids and investigations are nearly always the work of local humane groups and law enforcement. (Legislation hasn't helped.) HSUS runs no pet shelters and gives less than 1% of its income to them. Still, they have the chutzpah to steal credit from the charities that do combat dogfighting, raising money off their work. Classy.

For more information about HSUS and their work with the victims of dogfighting, read "The Lost Dogs" by Jim Gorant, google "Wilkes County Massacre" and check out "Dubious Deals at HSUS" by No-Kill Advocacy Center leader Nathan Winograd. He's not in it for the money and he's no publicity hound.

    • Sarah at HSUS

Pat, as someone who works at HSUS, and has also fostered numerous pitties, I would like to clarify on what you commented. Regarding Philly, we did not end our work their – we changed the name, to broaden the reach of the program. As for the Vick dogs, we have since changed our policy, and I encourage you to check out our Dogfighting Rescue Coalition, which focuses entirely on helping the pit bull type dogs rescued from fighting situations. It is our policy, and has been since 2009, that all dogs rescued from dogfighting be individually evaluated. With fundraising, as I'm sure you're aware, Vick was ordered to pay 1 million toward the care of the dogs. Because of that, we removed our fundraising request. We did provide funds to our friends at the Surry County Animal Shelter to care for the dogs they took in (not all the dogs taken from the property were pit bull dogs, and they took in quite a few mixed breeds from the case.). We then worked together with the VA Beach SPCA, so that those dogs could go on to be adopted out.

Regardless of how you feel about us, or Vick, the fact is that Vick tells of going to his first dogfight when he was eight years old. Let’s make sure that out of the entire Vick story, we do what is humanly possible to keep the next generation of children from ending up as he did – going down the dead-end path of animal fighting. Congress is now considering legislation to make it a crime to attend or take a child to an organized animal fight. This is a step forward for which there should be no sane opposition – an advance for children, for animals, and for law-and-order. I would encourage you to channel your anger into making sure other 8 year olds don't go to dogfights – and urge your member of Congress to crack down on spectators at animal fights: We can't change what Vick did in the past, but we should do everything to prevent others from doing the same.

Sorry Sarah...your defense of HSUS is understandable but misguided. Wayne Parcells accepting money from a criminal like Michael Vick, then letting him act as an agent for HSUS was, purely and simply, one of the most ignorant moves he could ever have made. I'm a little much has your donations declined since this happened? The way I feel about it is this...Michael Vick has a LOT more money than I do, so stop sending me requests for donations, get my share of your donation from him. He can afford it. After all, HE was chosen to represent HSUS not me. Since you all believe his "talks" to kids about "dogfighting" has been so successful, how about producing some of the results, you know, like how dogfighting has decreased in areas where Michael has spread the word, how many more arrests have been made, etc.
Just so you'll know, I volunteer for a wildlife organization where the work everyone does is strictly volunteer...nobody gets paid. The SPCA's across the country has volunteers as well but they also have paid staff. Wayne Parcells just gets paid more than anybody else so, was Michael Vick's "gift" to HSUS a donation or a bribe? How will that be showing up on the tax returns? Just asking.

Pat, you hit the nail right on the head with your post. Sarah at hsus; have another glass of the kool aid. I worked for months with the dogs sent to Best Friends and saw first hand the damage done. vick ( I refuse to capitalize his name )
is now in cahoots with a man far more devious than the thugs he was hanging with prior to his bust; wayne pacell. (I won't capitalize his name either.) My question for vick is; had you not been caught, when did you plan to stop? IDIOT!

Dear Bill and Pat–I back your sentiments 100%!!! Even though I despise the word/name "vick", "vicktory" now needs to be a word in the dictionary, defining those beings (regardless of species, whether they are furred, feathered, finned, 1-legged, 2-legged, 3-legged, 4-legged, 5-legged, or otherwise...) who have overcome obstacles in their lives and still "keep on keepin' on", despite what life has handed them!!! Vicktory to the underdog!!! However, as far as vick himself is concerned...

To mike vick: Go ahead, live your life as an overpaid NFL QB, while dogs continue to die in shelters EVERYDAY...(especially those of the "pit bull type") I can only Thank The Lord that what you did raised nationwide awareness as to the plight of animals subjected to the heinous crime of dogfighting, as well as to other types of animal cruelty. You have expressed remorse concerning your children's ability to have a pet dog, yet you have yet to show any remorse concerning your past treatment of dogs...In my lowly opinion, I wouldn't want to see a child molester be able to adopt a child!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Who is the real animal??? vick–God may forgive your wretched soul, but many of us can't...

Thank You, God, for the Vicktory Dogs and their brethren, and Bless the Precious Souls of those who are now, or will be, in your eternal care. AMEN.

Rest in the Sweetest of Peace.

        We are Lennox...We are VICTORY!!!

Which is why I'll never donate another dime of my money to HSUS. Putting Micheal Vick in as a sponsor of animal welfare is akin to putting Hitler in charge of Jewish civil rights.

And to top it off, the HSUS recommended all the dogs be put down.. right, murder the dogs but give the killer a platform to pretend to be trying to redeem himself, I thought this organization was mainly for the welfare of animals, not thugs? Also, google HSUS charity –you'll find that only 1% of the money they collect through donations actually go to help animals, the rest is spent on 'administration'. Can you believe that? Want to donate to help animals? Find a local animal 501 rescue and donate monthly to them. Those rescues are doing far more to help animals than HSUS , far more....

Please ask Michael Vick since he has under-performed, shall we do what he did to these non-consenting animals?

Jumper cables were clipped onto the ears of under-performing dogs, then, just like with a car, the cables were connected to the terminals of car batteries before lifting and tossing the shamed dogs into the water. Most of Vick’s dogs were small – 40lbs or so – so tossing them in would’ve been fast and easy work for thick athlete arms. We don’t know how many suffered this premeditated murder, but the damage to the pool walls tells a story. It seems that while they were scrambling to escape, they scratched and clawed at the pool liner and bit at the dented aluminum sides like a hungry dog on a tin can. I wonder why people can judge Michael for fighting and killing dogs and not forgive him after he has changed, Yet they put on hunting gear and kill innocent animals such as deer. Not only that, they train their children at a young age and take them hunting. teaching them to kill. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Killing is killing!

Ann, you would have a point if Michael Vick had ended his involvement in dogfighting (if he has indeed ended it) when he realized how deeply depraved it is to torture and kill dogs. He didn't. Vick's Bad Newz Kennels closed shop because he got caught. And even when he got caught, he lied about his involvement.

In his new book, he admits as much: "I knew I was going to try to lie my way through the whole dogfighting case and see if money, good lawyers, and manipulating the system could get me out of the position I was in - which was a terrible position."

See the article "Michael Vick intended to lie his way through the dogfighting scandal" from Yahoo Sports, 7/17/12.–nfl.html

IMHO, some persons who HUNT may be far more HUMANE than most if not all slaughterhouses? I admire Vegans. I continue to eat meat. I should become Vegan. Until I do become Vegan, I eat meat that I buy at a grocery store. IMHO, skilled Hunters who hunt humanely/skillfully (clean shots) & soley for FOOD to eat (vs. 'sport') – are better than people (like ME!) who puchase meat from a grocery store, which allows avoidance/awareness of pain/fear felt by cows, pigs, chickens, etc, killed at slaughterhouses....? If you're a Vegan, I support your beliefs & commend you. If you're not a Vegan, your opinion on hunting/meat is not relevant (JMHO)

I think Michael Vick should suffer the same fate as his dogs did... Let him have jumper cables attached to his ears and tossed in a swimming pool and try to claw or bite his way out. Dogs love every human, all they want in return is the same unconditional love they give their owner. There are too many rescue groups now days! The pain these dogs suffer is heartbreaking. How would Mr. Vick like to be chained outside all day and night rain or shine heat or cold? Instead of in his multi million dollar mansion? I have an English Bulldog and I love him as much as my children. He makes me smile daily... He sleeps in my room and is waiting at the door with that sweet grunt everyday when I get home! Who wouldn't want the love a dog can give?

I also believe he would still be fighting dogs today if he had not been caught. He can say he's sorry til his dying breath. It will never bring back the dogs he killed; whether by his hands or the ones that had to be euthanized. Dogs are precious creatures. They only want to please their humans. Michael Vick robbed these dogs of their want to please. Shame on Michael Vick.

Apparently, in the world you live in, "wrong doing" has a completely different connotation than it does in the REAL world! What Vick did was unconscionable. If he could commit those acts on poor DEFENSELESS animals, he is one SMALL step away from being a serial killer.

As for your comment about him beating his wife, unlike the DEFENSELESS animals he murdered, she would have the ability to remove herself from her situation.

...And feel free to look up the big words I used that someone, "coming from" where you are. won't understand!

Yes, all of us have done "wrong" at some time in our lives. All of us have needed to make amends for something at one point or another. BUT....there different degrees of "wrong". Micheal Vick not only did "wrong" he committed a FELONY. Even worse, he tortured animals to death and admitted he got an adrenaline rush when he did so.
I've read admissions from pedophiles who admitted to getting an adrenaline rush when they were raping children, and/or killing them. So, am I supposed to feel kindly toward this pedophile simply because I too have done "wrong" in my lifetime? I've never tortured or killed an animal, or child or anything else for that matter. So, at what point does my "wrongs" equal what Michael Vick did to his dogs, what a pedophile does to children, what a serial killer does, etc. Please do tell me......where exactly do we draw the line at forgiving "wrongs".
Frankly, I'll leave all that forgiving up to a much Higher Power than myself, as for me, I will continue to see Michael Vick as a wealthy thug who abused his wealth and power to create and manage an illegal dogfighting ring, and stooped so low on the ladder of humanity, I doubt he can ever redeem himself in the public eye, because he actually got thrills out of the torture and killing of animals that had no chance of escape or the ability to fight back. Even worse today, he mouths the words in an attempt to gain "understanding" from the public, the the only support comes from those brain dead enough to support him simply because he is famous, wealthy If he were a poor white man, 99% of those on these forums supporting him wouldn't be here.

    "Just a mistake" ... "a bad choice"

Vicious, brutal, animal abuse and murder is NOT a mistake. He is a murderer with an evil soul that has a highly skilled PR team.

Ignorance is bliss in this country when brutal cowards are heroes. Dog fighting NOT a mistake AT ALL. He tortured and killed living, feeling, breathing beings. It is the end all be all of heinousness! He was well aware of what he was doing and was only sorry ->for getting caught<-

He is nothing more than a low life sadist coward dog fighter & murderer who does not have the balls to pick on anything remotely his size and he is being placed in a pedestal to be idolized. What does that teach our youth?

He only brutalizes those creatures who cannot protect themselves and second chances DO NOT come into this.
Having a spur of the moment affair or stealing a car is 'a bad choice'. Not serving up unimaginable torture and death to mans best friend. These were not bad choices. The tortures and murders he committed were intentionally acted upon psychopathic actions that were repeated for -at least- 6 YEARS.

The willfully blind jock worshipers may have forgotten or forgiven but the dog loving community has NOT. Nike signing this loser again is just another example that they are all about the money and nothing else. I, and I know many others, will never buy the Nike brand again. I play em back in slow motion, and celebrate like a crazy fool, dancing all over the room each and every time. Heck wish you could see my tivo, still have games on there from last year and year before with my favorite hits and slams, that I still look back on sometimes when I need a pick me up. He's going down, it's coming, there is a reason he's back in the league and it has nothing to do with the fact he's worth a chit or the fact that he deserves it. This is the only place in the world that he can get hit, beaten, and possibly even turned into a vegetable legally. I have messaged several NFL players that put some of my favorite hits on him, and several got back to me and laughed their asses off, saying it was their MISSION for that game.. so's coming, and I want to see it in realtime, hence the NFL Sunday Ticket, babeeeee!!!!

Yes, vickfan, you're absolutely right. We hate Vick because he's black. If a white man beat to death, tortured and electrocuted innocent animals, that would be just peachy with us. Same with OJ. If a white guy had killed innocent people and left buckets of DNA at the crime scene, we would all just look the other way. You figured us out! I hate when people play the race card when they have no other good argument. A criminal is a criminal. I don't care if he's white, black, pink or purple...if you kill living things, you should be locked up and the key thrown away.

So somebody wants me to believe that Vick actually wrote a book? You have got to be kidding.

I really wish that Piers Morgan would have invited Jim Gorant on the show with Vick. His book "The Lost Dogs" reveals the cruelty and torture to which these dogs were subjected. I'm sure Mr. Gorant would have had some interesting questions to ask Vick. Vick has said he's sorry for what "he" lost, what he did to his family, how hard it's been for HIM. I have never heard him say that he is sorry for what he did to the dogs.

CNN and Piers Morgan should be ashamed for helping a horrible person like Vick. This interview only helps bring him fame and fortune and does nothing to make him or people like him responsible for the heinous acts they commit. Even though I am only one person, I will now boycott CNN like I do Nike and the others and encourage anyone I come across to do the same. I have watched CNN and HLN for many years and will do so no longer. So everyone rememebrs what I'm talking about, here is an excerpt from the book Lost Dogs which chronicles the murders he committed on those helpless dogs.

........................As [the little red dog] lay on the ground fighting for air, Quanis Phillips grabbed its front legs and Michael Vick grabbed its hind legs. They swung the dog over their head like a jump rope then slammed it to the ground. The first impact didn't kill it. So Phillips and Vick slammed it again. The two men kept at it, alternating back and forth, pounding the creature against the ground, until at last, the little red dog was dead.

DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THE VICK!!! for your saying it's ok what he did to the ANIMALS ( DOGS)

You don't like this?? Make you uncomfortable?? TOO BAD. The "little red dog" had no way to turn away, to ignore it, to pretend it wasn't happening. So, you don't get one either. KEEP READING.

One of the men comes towards the dogs. He grabs the one that had been in the rectangle with the little red dog and fastens the old nylon leash around her neck. He picks her up and carries her over to two trees that stand next to the two-story shed. The other man ties the leash to a two-by-four that has been nailed between the trees. Once the leash is secure, the first man boosts the dog a little further up and lets go.

For a moment, the dog lifts upward, her back arching and her legs paddling the air. Her head spins as she looks for the ground. Then her upward momentum peters out and she begins downward. Forty pounds of muscle and bone accelerate toward the earth. The rope pulls. The dog's head jolts to the side and with a single yelp she is dead.

The other dogs in the yard spring to their feet; the ones that had been brought up from the clearing that morning, the ones that lived in the kennel, the ones inside the shed. They bark and howl and run back and forth, pulling at their leashes or bouncing off the walls of their enclosures.

Even as they do, the other man approaches a second dog, one that had been injured and that now lies meekly on the ground. He carries him to the bucket and then holds his back legs in the air. One of the other men takes the dog by the scruff of the neck and plunges his head into the water. The dog shakes and flails, splashing water out of the bucket, but he is unable to shake free and within a few minutes his body goes limp. He's tossed into a wheelbarrow.

In all, four dogs get the bucket and four the leash, although not all of them are as lucky as the first dog. Some of them swing from the rope, gasping and shaking, eyes bulging, blood trickling from the corners of their mouths as they slowly strangle. Even when they are finally cut down, they are not quite dead, so they too have their heads stuck in the bucket.

It is tough to read, leroyfrench, but it tells the horrible story of how the dogs were brutalized. When the rescuers tried to temperament test the dogs, they were so fearful of humans that the dogs flattened on the ground and couldn't even be tested. Although the book is very hard to read, it reveals the true cruelty and lack of empathy of Vick and the "people" surrounding him.

As hard as it is to read Leroy, you are telling the disgusting truth and horror of dogfighting and animal abuse...It boggles my mind as to how any decent person could cause such harm to a puppy...and to those who may say "that is not a 'puppy', it's a 'full grown dog'"...well, puppies are born innocent!!! Puppies are trained BY HUMANS to be the adult dogs that they become...I hate to even call them 'dogs', as it sounds so demeaning–they are living beings, they are family!!!

Get over it! Vick did his time! While you animal lovers are still insisting on hating Vick, dog fighting is STILL continuing in this country. But because Vick is a celebrity, you all just can't stop obsessing over his past deeds. All this "Hate" is personal rather than focusing on what he did.

I own a chocolate lab. I dont beat him or spoil him, but I do show my dominance over him. If some of you are really for protecting domesticated animals, save a cat or two from your local chinese restaurant.

Dogfighting may still continue in this country, but individuals do not have to support it, or turn a blind eye toward it, just because of the ignorance that spews the likes of 'that is the way it is and always has been'. And btw, Jamuro, we have 2 dogs, and and we don't "beat" them, we don't "spoil" them, but we LOVE THEM and we treat them as FAMILY!!! GOD BLESS THE "VICKTORY" DOGS!!!

I'm surprised M Vick hasn't been TOTALLED yet – by other players! There are alot of people who love animals – I'm sure there are some 'rough & tough' Pro Football players who love animals! There have to be!

If I were able to get a good run at him, in a game, I'd go for it!

For all the Bible folk who exhort forgiveness of a Sociopath! There is a biblical saying: "Life by the sword – die by the sword". Vick is a violent sociopath; hopefully, he thinks about what he did to helpless dogs – for his FUN & ENTERTAINMENT – if/when he takes 'extra tumbles' on the field.

He should never be allowed near dogs/pets. I'd also keep him away from children – JMHO.

When he thought the interview was over, and thought the camera was no longer recording, he said he would change the amount of time of his sentence if he could, and then laughed....That says a great deal about how much remorse this thing really has for the repulsive things he did for his fun.

Mr.Vick displays no remorse for what he did to those dogs. I have not read his book, and do not plan to. He seems to be only concerned with explaining his actions, by using excuses. In my opinion, he is still an abusive human being. The only one that can change him is God. But he needs to fully admit what he has done, and ask for forgiveness. He is using public relations for damage control.

I had to turn the Michael Vick interview off. It was disgusting. Vick obviously has no connection with the cruelty he imposed on dogs. He's out to promote his book, period. How dare he say that the people who are against him may not have lived perfect lives themselves. How can he compare acts of cruelty in which he participated in the fighting and killing of dogs for profit to personal mistakes that we all make? What is even more disgusting is Morgan's treating him with kid gloves. He treated John Edward's girlfriend worse. Why didn't you ask him Piers, why he continued to be involved in dog fighting as an adult even though he knew the consequences? The only reason Vick isn't involved in dog fighting today is because he got caught.

From THE LOST DOGS by Jim Gorant:

"And then there was one last body that stood out from the rest. It
had signs of bruising on all four ankles and all along one side. Its
skull was fractured in two places and it had four broken vertebrae.
Brownie had said that all of the dogs that didn’t die from being
    hanged were drowned, except one.

As that dog lay on the ground fighting for air, Quanis Phillips
grabbed its front legs and Michael Vick grabbed its hind legs. They
swung the dog over their head like a jump rope then slammed it to the
ground. The first impact didn’t kill it. So Phillips and Vick
slammed it again. The two men kept at it, alternating back and forth,
pounding the creature against the ground, until at last, the little
    red dog was dead."

Sorry, Piers, but while I believe in second chances also, someone this cruel does not deserve to be in the limelight and have all forgiven and forgotten. Heaven forbid someone with two legs makes him angry, and may he never own another dog in his life.

I like you and have seen you ask some tough questions. What happened tonight? You allowed a dog abuser and killer on your show to promote his book, and you didn't even challenge him. Michael Vick still doesn't "get it." As he's driving to prison the only thing on his mind is what he had, and what he's about to lose. Not even a thought given to the torture, electrocution, and killing of innocent animals. It was all about him. That might have been a good time for you to point out that he never did and still doesn't show any remorse. Also, when he said that he was a dog lover, yet intrigued and excited about dog fighting, you should have pressed harder. NO DOG LOVER would EVER engage in dog fighting! I also have to disagree when he said he was brought up with morals. What a joke. Fighting, abusing, and killing dogs in NOT moral. You can't be a person with morals and do such horrific things. Why didn't you challenge him there either? It was hard for me to watch the interview. I was squirming more than Michael Vick, because the topic alone upsets me so much. And to watch him sit there and try to justify what he did because of his childhood and the violence that surrounded him was bull! I hope the interview showed everyone that Michael Vick is not in the least remorseful for what he did. The only thing he really regrets is getting caught. I do hope that Oprah interviews him, because we all know what a dog lover she is. There is no way she'll let him try to justify what he did.

Shame on you, Piers Morgan. Why, oh why, did you give this sociopath a platform to sell his book and his clothing line? I haven't seen the whole interview, but I doubt Piers was hard on him. When will this country realize that just because an ex-con can throw a football, that doesn't make him a hero, or rehabilitated. REMORSE it was shows us something has changed. The only remorse I see is that he's sorry that it messed up his life. I agree with the person who said he should come out and admit what he did, that he TORTURED and MURDERED animals for no good reason. It's appalling that, in this interview, he cried about it being "unfair" for his kids not to be able to have a dog, and that when he gets one' "It won't be a pitbull." Was he trying to make some kind of sick joke? I hope this monster gets both legs snapped in two the first time he touches the football this fall – and that his career is over soon after that.

A tertiary thought: Tranquilize dart Michael Vick, snip one of his Achilles tendons (or both) with a pair of dull, rusty tin snips, then deposit him in a remote location inhabited by wolves! Wait a minute...don't tranquilize him. Just snip the Achilles and then release him in the wild with Canis lupus!

I suppose when it comes to Michael Vick and what I could do to him because of the crimes he committed against innocent dogs...well, Shakespeare's Hamlet sums up my feelings: "I could accuse me of such things that it were better my mother had not borne me. I am very proud, revengeful, ambitious; with more offences at my beck than I have
thoughts to put them in, imagination to give them shape, or time to act them in."

Obviously Satan was booked for this interview, was busy and sent his first minion Michael Vick in his place. To think for even a moment that someone that could commit the atrocities that Vick did to those poor dogs has even an ounce of humanity within him is wrong. Michael Vick should have been locked up in a deep, dark hole for life. I don't care how he was raised, anyone knows that deriving pleasure from torturing a helpless animal is wrong. Vick was sorry that he was caught, certainly not sorry for his actions. And bone heads like Piers Morgan should be ashamed for giving this dirt bag any airtime at all.

Im guessing that Piers Morgan, desperate for ratings for his failing program, agreed to certain conditions demanded by Vicks PR team in order to get the interview. Matt Lauer too. No tough questions. Treat him like any other celebrity pushing a product. Softball questions. Self-serving responses? No problem.

CNN's ratings have never been lower. The Vick interview represents a new low in judgement.

Like Vick or hate him, justice was served as he did his time and has been a model citizen since being released. What he did to animals was wrong, he paid for it, and has shown remorse–it's water under the bridge. If only as much vile was shown and perhaps put into action against the Wall Streeters who took this nation to the brink of ruin, then just maybe a few of them would have done at least as much time as Vick did.

Tell me how, when, where he has shown remorse? The only remorse I've seen is when he says his "mistake" messed up his life. I want to see him open his mouth and hear the words come out, "I tortured, electrocuted and murdered innocent dogs. It was reprehensible. I can't look at myself in the mirror. I'm ashamed of myself." That will be the seeds of remorse. Staying out of legal trouble is his way of saving his ass; it has nothing to do with him being a better human being. He's a disgusting human being, and even if you believe he's "done his time," there's no way you should support him writing a book and trying to profit from his crimes.

He hasn't stayed out of trouble, we just haven't heard about all of it. There was a shooting at a restaurant at his birthday party, the first year he was out of jail. He rightfully should have been put back in jail then, for consorting with another felon, but it didn't happen, cause he has all the corrupt politicians in hs back pocket, along with Wayne Pacelle.

Look in the dictionary under SOCIOPATH there is a picture of Michael Vick look under PATHETIC and there is Piers Morgan. The two of you deserve eachother. To interview a sociopath who has no remorse and as was evident from the interview(he said he cried on his way to prison for what he had and now lost....really why don't you ask the dogs made to fight how they felt, he said his family lost lots and has been through alot again ask the dogs how they felt after a fight and being killed by Michael Vick himself.) remorse for what he did only for getting caught. Piers Morgan stoops to a new low, if that is possible. The entire interview made me SICK to my STOMACH, I watched it in hopes he actually would have felt bad for the dogs and what he did but I knew better....a leopard doesn't change it's spots he never once mentioned the poor dogs that suffered so at his hands. KARMA it will come around. As for the money he had to give to the Humane Society is was ordered so and a mere drop in the bucket to him. There is NO EXCUSE for ANIMAL ABUSE.

“As the little red dog lay on the ground fighting for air, Quanis Phillips grabbed its front legs and Michael Vick grabbed its hind legs. They swung the dog over their head like a jump rope then slammed it to the ground. The first impact didn't kill it. So Phillips and Vick slammed it again. The two men kept at it, alternating back and forth, pounding the creature against the ground, until at last, the little red dog was dead."
If CNN and Piers Morgan wanted to demonstrate Vick's remorse about his actions, they failed miserably. The tough questions were never asked of Vick (the passage above should have been read and asked him to reply!) For anyone watching the interview, he was then and continues to be "all about him." The lame excuse for growing up in a violent neighborhood should have been explored further. Morgan should have been prepared to follow up on his excuse, as it has been consistent over the years and has come from his handlers. Morgan should have asked “What about Johns Hopkins Hospital’s world renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, who grew up in a poor violent neighborhood of Baltimore City; his choice was to save lives instead of taking them! There are many more notable figures that experienced the same poverty and crime growing up and did not engage in torturing and killing living creatures….so what is the difference? To me, the difference is unmistakable; they are not sociopaths.
Whether it matters to CNN or Piers Morgan, I will never watch his show again. As an interviewer, he scored zero. He must have chosen to be ill prepared because he knew how Vick would respond and at those responses, a pugnacious approach would have been appropriate. Farewell CNN & Piers Morgan!

Good gosh you women are insanely evil and sick as Vick was with the dogs. For you all to want him dead and what not it is sadistic of all of you. Every single one of you have done something that you are all ashamed of but none of you are in the spotlight like Vick is, granted if might not have been as bad as dog fighting but for you all to point and judge is hypocritical. You literally are some sick, sad people who takes joy and enlightenment out of judging others you don't even know. No need to quote the bible or bring religion in it, you don't need scriptures to tell you that you people live in a sad world where you have to judge others for their actions. Vick knew what he did, look at these other athletes, they get out of jail do their minimum probation work and PR stuff and call it quits. Vick has been spending 3 years to rebuild his name, he even said their is always going to be a group of people that will never forgive because they have an unforgiving hearts, he is referring to you people. I really hope you don't raise your children to be so one sided, because people like you is what scares me in this world.

Well thanks for sharing there Joseph. And btw, it was not just dog fighting the mv participated in during his 10 years of torture for entertainment. Talking about what needs to be read, you need to read more about what he did, to dogs that would not or could not fight. He could have had them humanely euthanized, instead he drowned, electrocuted, hung, starved, and beat them to death, in front of the other dogs. You go ahead and wrap your head around the scriptures good luck with that. Some of us are sick of monsters walking among us, especially those that the media attempts to glorify, and we are making it known that we have no respect for anyone who would torture any INNOCENT living thing for their pleasure, nor those that would defend a sadist. If those of us who wish great harm on the sadist scare you, (while someone who would hang and beat a dog for entertainment doesn't scare you) then you must spend a great deal of your time afraid. Don't worry about my children, I hope your children aren't animal abusers which they likely might be, considering how little problem you appear to have with that...

No Marsha they are not and these monsters you were referring to, well you might want to stop looking around the world and start looking towards yourself, your moral compass is quite morbid and cruel to say the least. Where did Vick say he didn't torture the dogs, because the James Brown interview I watched years ago, he did say it. Not many people have a second chance at life for a crime or an act so ungodly, he is. Maybe you should take this as a sign that Vick's stories is to test the human heart not the human brain. Hopefully your children aren't too brainwashed by now to fix that.

Apparently there are people who rationalize cruelty & barbaric acts as 'forgivable' when they are made against animals without 'Souls'. And some people think only Humans have Souls, so Humans are the only Animals requiring humane treatment. All of this is a matter of personal opinion/belief – think whatever you want.

I'm offering you an EXPLANATION: The reason so many people detest M Vick is because he is brutish & violent; he tortured living creatures for FUN & PLEASURE. IMHO & (apparently others'), Vick is a sociopath. SHAME on P Morgan & CNN for giving this him MORE public exposure!! THE bOTTOM lINE: Vick & other barbaric people who get PLEASURE & ENJOYMENT from inflicting violence and torture on other living creatures are bad people; they are perverse & cruel.

I'm a Catholic (a Christian religion) but it is my intellect, concience & heart that enables me to state categorically: "barbaric people who get PLEASURE & ENJOYMENT from inflicting violence and torture on other living creatures are bad people". I don't need my religion to tell me this; One doesn't need to be a member of any specific Religion to understand torture is depravity. One simply needs to be a rational & decent Human Being. (vs. a Sociopath).

This is why Vick remains an anathema to many people.

CNN – why give publicity to a person who TORTURED dogs for fun & entertainment????

Some of the comments that people have actually posted is so very sad! Many of you have not read the Bible when God said that He forgives all of us of our sins when whe ask His forgiveness. What is so pitiful is that all of us have sinned. So what makes your sins cleaner than Michael Vick's sins? The Bible tells me that sin is sin in His eyes! So your gripes are not with Michaal Vick, but I guess you should grip to God about His forgiving Michael Vick. Furthermore some of you would not walk across the street to help a human being, but you are crying about animals. Dont get me wrong I dont agree with animals being mistreated. But I do care more about how humans treat each other. When we stand before Christ. He will ask YOU what YOU have done in YOUR life. If your have unforgiveness in your heart, you will spend eternity in HELL. So guess what, you are not hurting Michael Vick, you are hurting yourself eternally. He is going on with his life with his family. Furthermore, by hating and unforgiving Micheal Vick, you are letting him occupy room in your brain for free!!! Wow! Why not relax your brains, Michael Vick has relaxed his by asking God for forgiveness. Whether you forgive him or not, God has forgiven him. Are you higher and greater than God? Take a realistic look at your life and consider forgivness and life eternal. God's blessings!

Then let God forgive him. He went above and beyond any "sin" had he done this to 52 humans he would be labeled a MASS MURDERER and still be in jail awaiting his death sentence. He slaughtered, tortured and brutalized 52 dogs, then lied about it. He even used his family pets as bait dogs. Had he committed "1 sin" OK, but 52 sins (not including all the lies)???? he also has domestic violence charges. The man has a volatile temper, even on the field. Yes, he is volunteering with USHS, but it is not voluntary, it is part of his probation. He filmed many fights and is selling the DVD's. This outburst start to die down, then he brings it up to stir people up. He loves the attention good and bad. Probably because the bad makes people feel sorry for him and they go out and buy more of his products. Do you really think he cares???? Everytime someone commits a heinous crime, especially public figures, someone throws the bible out there. Do you "Christians" support pedophiles? Rapists? Adulterers? if you don't then you are hyprocrites and are what I call Sudo-Christians as you become Christian went it suits your purpose.

Why do we continually give this person a platform from which to sound off from? He has repeatedly stated how he is right and everyone else has gotten it wrong. Aside from the dog fighting and inhumanity that he, himself, along with his family and friends imparted on these poor animals – I think it is very important to question why we care about this person, his opinions or his "ability" to throw, catch and run. He is nothing more than a entertainer, that is it. Further, there are millions more – a few hundred of which with much less questionable morals – from which you could garner some form of entertainment from.

But lets switch gears for a second.. if you dont care about dogs – which in my opinion automatically disqualifies you from the worthwhile portion of humanity – and focus on the implications of mr. vick's actions for humanity. this is a being that has been repeatedly beaten in the head via sports-induced collisions. this type of repeated injury causes small abbrassions and bruises to the brain. being that most of these collisions are head to head, the part ofthe brain injured includes the medial-frontal cortex and the posterior areas of the brain.... the first of which is dedicated to repressing aggression and providing inhibitory thought processes and critical thinking. Now, if that part of the brain is repeatedly injured what do you think happens here... it is an increase in aggression and decrease in the ability to inhibit not so smart decisions. These things include dog fighting, animal abuse and drug use. Hmm, all of which are precursors to human-directed violence and most often murder. So... we take a man that is inherently violent and aggressive, as evidenced by his choice to engage in and performance level in an aggression-based sport like football, then we repeatedly injur the only part of his brain responsible for making smart and anti-aggressive decisions, while throwing endless amounts of money, praise and attention toward him, and we see that he is becoming increasingly stupid, aggressive and inhumane (read The Lost Dogs for an account of what horrible acts vick actually committed – which include genital electrocution, strangling, bashing of skulls, drowning, etc) and what do we do.... oh, we let him back into the NFL to continue this great path of neural-degradation and immorality. Wonderful. So for those of you supporting this man, dont be surprised when he is arrested for shooting a gun in a packed night club, or raping a woman, or better yet... when he has a sudden outburst of violence on the field because he disagrees with a call.

you made this monster, and now, CNN, you are chosing to provide him with an even bigger spotlight. Why? would you answer that one question – why are you giving this man any more time in the spotlight? Why not interview a teacher, police officer, EMT, or someone that has dedicated their life to saving, helping and rescuing rather than taking, raping and destroying???

Jessica, I believe people care so much because they all know professional Football and Basketball players are often looked up the most by children, so of course you want a good role model (Besides your own parents) to have. Michael Vick did mess up bad and he has paid his debt completely (he was $30,000,000.00 in debt) off as well as spritual debt. Only he will know if he is truly sorry and if he is keeping that covenant he made with the lord for forgiveness. The people saying he should be dead, how are you any different than him at his worst? Wanting a person dead is not as bad as wanting a dog dead???? Come on. Those who have not sinned can throw the first rock. Nobody has any right to judge him being nobody here is pure.

Maybe you're not qualified to tell other people what they should be concerned with? Really, what others spend their energy on is really none of your concern, now is it? Let me try it: Maybe you should spend your time on something more constructive than defending a sadist, like helping those starving and needy children.

"Really, what others spend their energy on is really none of your concern, now is it?" This comment completely negates your entire platform, and makes you a hypocrite. Are you not concerning yourself with what Michael Vick spends his energy on, in terms on the animal abuse, and his involvement with this interview? And I never said I defended him, I was commenting on the extreme ignorance and opinions throughout these comments. While I think we could all agree that much of our time could be better spent than posting on this forum, I actually do work with underprivileged children

Are you aware that in the 1950s the US government actually put animals in the blast zones of atomic bombs so that they could research the immediate and long-term effects of radiation exposure? So I agree, the treatment of animals may say a lot about a nation. But animal abuse does not begin or end with Michael Vick. His celebrity and profession make him an easy scapegoat.

Corrine, Horace thinks you are too 'deep' for us and I say to the contrary, you obviously have alot to learn! Do you know that the majority of people who abuse animals go on to abuse children, women and commit violent crimes? There is a pattern with this behavior, lack of respect for another living creature. So, whatever opinion you have of animals, and I detect it's not a good one, they are living creatures and do not deserve to be injured or tortured any more than people. My money is on Dianne. I don't condone animal abuse, I don't condone Michael Vick's actions. I just don't understand why people want him shot, maimed, or thrown to the wolves. The same people who are speaking on loving creatures and treating them with respect, are the same who are calling for Vick's head. It just seems very hypocritical.

There's a theme running through these posts...those of you who want to support Vick have no compassion for animals. Because they aren't human, you don't care how much they suffer at a human's hands. You speak of God and forgiveness, yet you have no feelings for creatures who are intentionally made to suffer. If for some reason this monster needed to kill these dogs, why not do it humanely? How can you people defend his actions? Yes, they eat dog meat in China. They also kill female babies. So if they do it in China, does that make it OK here? If VIck had run a dog fighting ring and had shot the poor performers in the head, I would still hate what he did. But the fact that he slaughtered them so maliciously, that he made them suffer such torment...and that you people actually think that's OK!!!...makes me physically ill. Suffering is suffering, whether you are a human being or an animal. When someone intentionally and joyously causes another living thing pain, there is something mentally wrong with that person. And people who support what he did, well, they are just as vile as he is.

Thank you Donna, for expressing so well what so many others were thinking. Unbelievable that 'some' want to try and ram someone down our throats that has done things as horrific, repulsive and heinous as what michael vick has done, and seem to be so amazed that some of us aren't willing to forgive. It says a great deal about those people too, that cannot understand the wrath sometimes displayed when the name michael vick is mentioned. They pretend they don't realize that pain is pain, and suffering is suffering, whether it is experienced by a human being or an animal. We both feel it, and it's no worse for us than it is for an animal. If it weren't for sane people like you and those on this thread earlier, I believe I would become a hermit while being sure our society is full of sick deviants. Its almost equally as bad as doing things such as this, to defend such as this, and to expect other people to overlook it as well. Left to people like the last few posters here, I suspect our would would really be a sad dangerous place. The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing." (Edmund Burke).

I'm a lifelong Eagles fan who no longer has a football team. I think Eagles fans are the biggest hypocrites in the world. Before he came to Philly, everyone was outraged by his actions and no one wanted him here. Once Eagles fans saw he could throw a football, they suddenly believed he'd just made a "mistake," paid his dues and was suddenly a hero because he had "redeemed himself." I want to know how playing football well leads to redemption, and I want to know why so many fans are putting "Vick 7" jersies on their kids. Even if you believe he did pay his debt to society, is he really someone you want your kids to idolize and emulate? Had he shown true remorse, saying he couldn't live with himself for the horrible pain he'd inflicted on defenseless animals, maybe I wouldn't be so hard on him. He refuses to hold himself accountable for his actions, instead making excuses and blaming the fact that he lived in a rough neighborhood as a child. I agree with those who say that God is the ultimate judge, but that doesn't mean those of us down here on earth are expected to look at his atrocities and shrug them off. I wonder if people with the same mentality as Vick fans would have told Hitler haters to chill out and let God handle it. I doubt it. And no, I'm not comparing the holocaust to Vick's transgressions, but I am saying that when someone tortures, maims and kills living things, and takes joy in doing it, the rest of us are not going to look away and not judge him or expect him to pay the consequences. If we truly were to leave his judgment up to God – and only God – there wouldn't be prisons.

Wow!!!!! I sense so much hostility towards Mike Vick it is ridiculous.Let me start by saying that 1) I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan,2) I'm a Mike Vick fan on the football field,ONLY. 3) I'm a Bible believing Christian that believes in Jesus as my saviour to God & only by Jesus' death ,burial, resurrection & that on the third day he accended to the right hand of God the Father that I'll or anyone will get to receive Heaven. Now let's get to Mike Vick. I believe that God ONLY should judge him for what he has done to those poor animals & I believe he will. So the rest of us should just let that happen & go back to living our own lives & quit talking about how he should suffer or how he should be forgiven. To be forgiven Jesus asks us to believe in him (John3:16) & show repentance of our sins. (stop doing it) The bottom line is we ALL are guilty of sin.(Romans3:23) & no one sin is great than the other.Whether you are a dog fighter,a child molester,a rapist or a man/woman cheating on your spouse, you are guilty of sin. So we all need to get over ourselves & let God's plan for Mike Vick happen.I pray for Mike to come to know God personally thru a relationship w/ Jesus Christ & I pray all of you will as well,if you don't already have one. Bless God & Soli Deo Gloria.

JC, it is so refreshing to see forgiveness through what the Bible says. When we point the finger at someone, three point back at us! It is so easy to condemn another rather than give him grace and forgiveness, as we'd want for ourselves. I am not saying what Mike did is not was. But he paid his debt to society in prison, and now he has turned his life around. Allow him the second chance you would want for the sin you've committed. Our sins might be different from Mike's, but we are no cleaner in God's eyes without Jesus making us clean.

It is one thing to have an "opinion" on a person: "Yes, hes is a person" many of you have forgotten that. What he did was wrong, he didn't hide from it and he admitted he was a poor role model to younger players and others looking up to him. Some of these comments are bias and some just a way of finding a way to be a bully. Close your eyes for two seconds and imagine you don't have the perfect son or daughter you think you have. Would you still wish death apon him or some of these other crude points. Shame on all you "Christians", I hop-e you beg for forgiveness tonight for judging others. Oh and BTW Corrine my daughter is 6 and not like most of you she does live with a disability but I pray to god its not what ive read tonight.

But why would you allow your child to even KNOW about Dog Fighting & Michael Vick – much less post to such a topic? If you have a child – you as a Parent should know (1) violent cruelty is NEVER acceptable (2) Children of a young age shouldn't be exposed to disgusting deparvity – Dog Fighting, Animal Cruelty/Abuse is digusting depravity.

No Remorse!!! What are you talking about??? This guy is spent two years in jail and is going around talking to everyone that will listen about the wrongs he committed. You people want him to walk around crying " Whoa is me".....I said it before GET OVER IT!!! No Remorse...That's the stupidest excuse in the world to continue to hate someone..How do you know he's not remorseful? I bet if you spent two years in prison and nearly lost would be remorseful no matter the cituation.

First of all, he didn't spend 2 years in jail. 18 months is not 2 years! He went to jail for racketeering NOT ANIMAL ABUSE. Secondly, he IS going around crying "woe is me" if you had paid any attention to the interview, that's all he has been doing is crying about poor little mikey. And, your last sentence puts it in perspective; he spent some time in jail, nearly lost everything, and he's remorseful about that. That's all he's remorseful about too.
