Clips from Last Night: Sandra Fluke on her DNC address, Deval Patrick on RNC platform, Paul Ryan on Romney's abortion "flip-flop"

On Wednesday, Piers Morgan continued his live coverage of the Democratic National Convention from inside the famed "CNN Grill" in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Among his guests was women's rights activist Sandra Fluke, fresh off her rousing convention speech earlier in the evening. The Georgetown Law student, who was harshly criticized by conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh for expounding her views on contraception to the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee in February, commented on the "fired up" response from the convention crowd:

"When I was talking about the policies that are on the table and what could be at risk for women in this country the crowd really responded," said Fluke. "Because they know what kind of choice we have between President Obama and Mr. Romney's plans for the women in this country."

Also on Wednesday, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick spoke to Morgan from the convention floor, voicing his criticism of the RNC, which has "said almost nothing about what is right with their own plan."

"In fact they've hardly dealt with the fact that facts are unwelcome in their own plan," continued Patrick. "And I think we as Democrats have got to stop paying as much attention to the other guy and focus on what we are about, what we have accomplished in this administration, and where we're going in the next four years."

Earlier in the day, Morgan spoke to GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan who addressed Mitt Romney's "flip-flopping" stance on abortion which had been highlighted during the Ted Kennedy tribute on Tuesday evening:

"Look, people change their positions over the years," said Ryan. "That's the natural progression of the human mind. And so what I think matters is, what is the vision Mitt Romney is offering Americans? What are the policies and the principles?"

Erickson is such a disaster to be seen on CNN. People like this can be seen on Fox News and New Max not on CNN please.

What is betraying is a good looking guy who who is close to what you would call stubborn and cannot admit he is wrong. Paul Ryan you must have had a mother and a female relative of some kind. Treat all women with the respect. You have been told than men do no vote deomocrats all you life that you have become a spokesman for the Taliban because your party is similar to their treatment of women. You are Taliban through and through. You would feel quite comfortable walking down the street of Kabul. No wonder your republican convention did not hardly mentioned the men and women fighting overseas.
