Clips From Last Night: Bill Clinton on running for political office again
On Tuesday evening, Piers Morgan sat down with former president Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting. Clinton, who is also the founder of the initiative, talked politics both in the United States and abroad.
During the interview, Morgan asked Clinton about the possibility of running again for office, but in Europe:
"We're trying to change the rules in Britain," joked Morgan. "Because if you can't be president again here, we'd quite like you to be prime minister in our country."
"There are only two countries I'm eligible to run for the leadership positions," Clinton replied. "I can run for president of Ireland, because of my Irish heritage."
"And because I was born in Arkansas, which is part of the Louisiana Purchase, any person anywhere in the world that was born in a place that ever was part of the French empire, if you move to - if you live in France for six months and speak French, you can run for president."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as Clinton explains how even though he is eligible to run for office in France, his "broken French with a Southern accent" might adversely affect his election.

I was satire by "The Onion". The MSM is so anxious to print anything that might be bad about Romney that they rushed to print this without realizing it was satire. LOL There were some articles about this. Google it.

Am I the only one who saw only 30 minutes of the Bill Clinton interview and then the 2nd half of the program was devoted to
something entirely unrelated! If this was a CNN problem, you owe us an apology. If this was planned it would have been nice to say goodbye and thank you to the former president. I have it on DVR. I replayed it twice to see what I had missed
and I seemed to have missed nothing. It was as though someone at CNN threw the wrong switch and we went to a completely different interview. Very disappointing!!!
Samuel Sheinban a US citizen from Maryland who killed Alfredo Enrique Tello Jr.'s and flew to Israel with the help of his lawyer father. 18 year old Tello charred and dismembered body was wrapped in a trash bags and dumped in a Wheaton garage. Samuel Sheinban flew to Israel because United States had NO EXTRADITION TREATY yet our tax dollar supports Israel and supports its blindly. How many more wars do we have to fight supporting this friend?
Where is the justice for Rachel Corrie murder in Israel because our government has no say in Israel justice system. Why are American citizen not protected by US laws.
Had Samuel Sheinban been a Black or Brown young man he would have returned back to United States in shackles and thrown in prison.

There are such injustices all over the world. Can't base our foreign policy on cases like this. The guy is probably a horrible person, but seriously. I think we'll just have to turn our heads on this one. The benefits of supporting Israel far outweigh the need to see justice done in this one case.
We have bigger fish to fry. If you want justice, you'd be better off talking to Nancy Grace about the issue.

War crime? What war crimes? All war is a crime. Bush has the confirmation of Congress for the wars. Obama just took out two heads of state and is shooting Americans down with drones. I think that qualifies as a war crime.

Obama and Mrs. Clinton are the ones about to start WWIII. Why don't you tell me all about their military service? Remember that we have a volunteer military and that Romney's draft number was low enough that he didn't have to serve.

How fitting it would be for slick Willy to be leader of France. His political style is more akin to France than to America. He, after these long years, admits that the only reason he cut taxes was to grow the size of government. And he would at long last be the leader of a country that would support economic oppression of the wealthy and poor alike – consider the French super tax of 75%. And he could carry on the fine tradition embodied in "let them eat cake." Perhaps by then the French would come to their senses and bring back the guillotine for their leaders.
One of my favorite "morning shows" in Asia. And enjoy alternative thoughts of people like Jessie Ventura. But why don't your interview even more credible and articulate alternative spokesmen such as Dr Paul Craig Roberts, former asst secretary of State http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/ ? it would be landmark.
Clinton and Obama should run as the president and vice. That would be a dynamic duo 🙂
