Clips From Last Night: Deval Patrick on Obama's debate performance; Rick Santorum on Big Bird

On Thursday, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick joined Piers Morgan to give his take on Wednesday night's presidential debate. Patrick suggested that it may have been the high altitude in Colorado that left President Barack Obama in, according to Morgan, a "strangely morose mood."

"I know whenever I go to Denver it takes me a little while to adjust to the altitude," said Patrick.

Meanwhile, in reaction to Mitt Romney's statement during the debate that he will end subsidies to PBS even though he likes Big Bird, Morgan posed the following question to Rick Santorum, Jennifer Graholm and Newt Gingrich:

"Would you kill Big Bird?"

In a non-partisan play, Graholm and Gingrich loudly supported keeping Big Bird alive while Santorum admitted that "I've voted to kill Big Bird in the past."

"I have a record there that I have to disclose," said Santorum. "That doesn't mean I don't like Big Bird."

Watch the clips, and listen to the interview, as Santorum explains how "you can kill things and still like them, maybe to eat them."
