Creatures and critters galore visited the "Piers Morgan Tonight" studios over the Thanksgiving holiday, compliments of Jack Hanna, Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Among the parade of exotic animals that shared the set with Piers Morgan was an adult cheetah, the fastest land mammal. According to Hanna, the cheetah "goes 70 miles an hour. So when you're in your car going 65, in all seriousness, we clocked him at 70."
Morgan did his best to contain his composure over the gorgeous though potentially dangerous cat with eyesight so "impeccable" that at "two miles it can spot a little rabbit."
"This is the first time I really felt quite intimidated," remarked Morgan. "This is a big beast."
A reassuring Hanna tried to assuage Morgan's fears by responding, "Yes, I'm here, don't worry," but then recanted, "Well, maybe you should worry."
"This [cheetah] would kill, basically in the wild," said Hannah. "It has to grab the throat and do the choke hold. Once they do that, they're just sitting there about five to 10 minutes."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, to find out who will win a race, the cheetah or Olympic sprinter, Usain Bolt.
