Snoop Lion on his name change: "It's a transformation musically, spiritually, and mentally"

Last night, the singer formerly known as Snoop Dogg sat down with Piers Morgan for an enlightening and informative interview on poverty, guns in America and his own fascinating transformation.

The artist, who now goes by Snoop Lion, talked with the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host about the inspiration behind his name change.

"It's a transformation musically, spiritually, and mentally," said Snoop Lion about his new moniker. "I went to Jamaica on a journey to make some music and it - eventually became, you know, engulfed with the spirit of Rastafari and the spirit of reggae music. And the transformation was necessary. It became what it is."

"It's a special place," said Snoop Lion about Jamaica. "It takes over you. No matter what kind of person you are, it's just that spirit of love and caring and giving that becomes a part of you. Once I became a part of Jamaica and the music and the culture, it took me in as a brother."

Watch the clip and listen to the interview as Snoop Lion tells Morgan the reason why he titled his new record "Reincarnated."

Modern Bedroom Furniture: Sleek, sophisticated, and totally contemporary, the term Modern Furniture describes a style of home furniture that often uses the latest materials in familiar ways, and more established materials in totally new designs. Instead of the clunky and massive wooden beds of the past, steel and metal alloys take bedroom furniture into the 21st Century. Moulded plywood and plastics are seen alongside woods in the most contemporary bedroom sets, adding lightness and a hint of playful joie de vivre.';*,
