READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Whether you fell asleep early, stayed out too late, or simply want to watch it again, we realize it's not always possible to get your entire "Piers Morgan Live" fix from television. As an answer to this, we offer the below labor of love – "Piers Morgan Live, Rewind" – dedicated and designed to getting you caught up and connected to the conversation.
On Friday evening, Piers Morgan welcomed fellow Brit Gerard Butler for a raucous and revealing face to face interview.
Displaying a photograph of Butler lip-locked with director Paul Haggis, the "Piers Morgan Live" host seized an opportunity to poke a little fun at his Scottish guest:
"As a Scot, not the first time you have kissed a Haggis, right?" teased Morgan.
Visibly amused, and holding back laughter, Butler could muster only "that's great."
Meanwhile, Friday's episode of the primetime program also saw Morgan welcome Robbie Parker, who lost his daughter Emilie in the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting.
Rolling a video that Parker had created in tribute to his daughter, Morgan notes that "it says more about the creative, charming, beautiful young girl that she was than any amount of words could do."
With Parker fighting back tears, and the video coming to a close, the host, and father of four, offers a summation:
"I found that unbearably poignant to watch earlier as I did just now. I can't even imagine what it's like for you. Yet it's so powerful because as with all the children that lost their lives that day, Robbie, it just brings it home, what happened that day. These were just young children in the bloom of their early life, snuffed out."
Keeping with the country's on-going gun debate, on Friday Morgan also invited Adam Schill and Richard Feldman to share their particular perspectives.
"When you go on as you have over the last few months beating up on the American people and our love of the firearm issue, thank God we had guns because twice in the last hundred years, we saved the British people because the Americans had the guns, to come to your aid and your help when you needed ours," says Feldman, a former NRA lobbyist.
"Wow. Thank God for you. Where was Winston Churchill when all this was going on?" joked Morgan, dripping with sarcasm.
"Just say thank you. It would be enough for the American people," retorted Feldman.
Schiff meanwhile, adds some additional insight:
"Mr. Feldman, when you're talking about freedom, the freedom to have and bear guns, what about the freedom of people to send their kids to school without being shot? What about the freedom of those children to get an education without being shot?," said the Democratic Congressman from Calif. "Why are we ignoring the freedom of American people to go about their lives and not be the victims of extraordinary gun violence?"
For the next edition of "Piers Morgan Live," watch CNN every night at 9.

I'm tired of you lies time to tell the truth. watch listen and then report the truth.
I find Piers Moron extremely rude, arrogant and constantly interrupting the person he is interviewing especially if he disagrees with the person.I am forced to watch Hannity because he is a great comedian.
Its a carbon copy of Fox News tactics ,twist the truth though and manufacture it to present to the listeners as theyd think that the way it should be at not is, Fox news ( my opinion) thats what I see. And the ones on this site who complain about piers keep coming back for more , they love him deep down inside. Your reading this arent you?
Hey S&M, Fox and CNN are both pathetic and you seem to kiss up to piers all the time. The only reason I come back is to allow people to laugh at your hilariously intelligence lacking drug affected mindset. And Piers when are you going back across the pond if it is so bad here? What a hypocrit!!!!
I I watched the video of Robbie Parker and I see Robbie lean in towards her birthday cake and drawing in all that accompanies a birthday celebration- it parallels with what Sheryl Sandberg is saying in her book Lean IN. Now is the time for the parents of Sandy Hook Elementary and parents nationwide to lean in and remind the public to stand firm for gun safety. Thanks Piers you're doing a great job.
Piers Morgan, simply put you are not qualified to interview Wayne LaPierre. Why should he put himself in such a position when we all know his being in your hot seat would INCREASE Your Shows Ratings,,like Americans are buying Firearms and Ammunition. – Fair comparison. Heres some Wayne LaPierre from April 1992. " It matters little whether they love you in Washington; power is the life's breath of Capitol Hill, and numbers are power" UNQUOTE: GUNS & AMMO Magazine April 1992 Issue, page 21 I See I Am Posting The 5th Comment here , Vs. 4,000,000 + members of the New NRA.
I know I would be a better host for a decent debate and if they would like me to try the offer is open!
Well, they're technically correct. Great Britain was disarmed at the time that the Blitz hit; they had also not kept up with infantry warfare standards. Americans did help manufacture firearms for their use, as well as supplying their own troops and creating disposable pistols to be dropped to the French resistance.
I mean, you can tell this stuff by the lack of a consistent infantry doctrine early in the war for the Brits. Americans were riflemen (M1 Garand) backed by machine gunners (Browning 1919) and submachine gunners (Thompson Submachine Gun), based around the adaptability of the M1 Garand for a variety of situations.
Germans were machine gunners (MG 42) backed by riflemen (Karabiner 98k) and submachine gunners (MP 40), owing to the light weight and high rate of fire of the MG 42, allowing both covering fire for offensive operations and suppressing fire for defensive ones.
Soviets were submachine gunners (PPSh-41), backed by riflemen (Mosin-Nagant 91/30) and the occasional machine gun (old Maxim 1910s) often shooting at them if they retreated. The PPSh-41 was inexpensive to make (great for arming the 2 million conscripts in the army), and had a blistering rate of fire combined with a large, 71 round magazine, which made for a wall of lead as the Soviets advanced through Europe.
The British, on the other hand... well, they started off with buying every Thompson they could from America, until the U.S. jumped into the war and they needed to supply their own troops with them. So the Brits made the Sten Submachine Gun, which was a cheaply made, poor quality weapon. They were still using the Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III as their primary rifle, and never really jumped into the use of semi-automatic rifles (as the other nations had at least tried by 1940). Old Vickers Machine Guns were still the norm; the only thing that really stood out for them was the Bren Light Machine Gun, which still didn't see enough numbers to be a really big game changer. They never really found a good doctrine for their general infantry.
So yeah. Where was Winston Churchill? He was negotiating arms deals with Americans for submachine guns.
He also fought them for six years,Tesla,Roosevelt–a very good President–CONVINCED it was confined to Europe, whilst
you were on the list.(He also continually deceived Uncle Joe who wanted 50,000 Wehrmacht officers shot live IN COLOR
on national TV,Winston baulking at the notion:there's absolutely no denying the US helped us greatly–and yourselves–and we'll always love you for it,but it's quid pro quo all the way with the dynamic duo:we hunted, torpedoed, and sunk the
Bismarck AND the Tirpitz preventing them sailing the Atlantic nor anywhere else.Hope to read more of your posts soon.

Sorry, got caught up in the rant there. Love me some history. As for the California congressman, the "freedom to not get shot" is a funny thing to bring up when you represent a state that already has rather draconian gun laws in place, and is still known for large amounts of gun violence. In your own state, it has been seen that Assault Weapon Bans don't work, that magazine capacity restrictions don't work, and that registration of legal firearms doesn't work (and in fact does lead to government confiscation; ask anyone who USED to own a SKS-45).
Besides, if everyone followed the law, you would be free from being shot. You'd also be free from dying by drunk drivers or texting drivers. Everyone would be free from getting mugged, or robbed, or r4ped. Would you like to know something I've learned from studying human history?
There is always someone who will kill. Or steal. Or r4pe. In fact, there's always a lot of people who will. There will always be those who wish to exert power or dominance over someone else. I really don't want to. But I'll be d4mned if I will let somebody exert power or dominance over me.
Hey Tesla,
Sorry 'bout the scrambled text:ALWAYS type full lines, frustrating.
My truncated point at the bottom should precede with Mr Hitler insulting you, which was never a good idea...
