I think that Piers Morgan is an excellent interviewer and really used to enjoy watching him. Lately all his shows are about guns/gun control. Although I realize that these are very important issues in the USA I can not watch this every night...way too disturbing and depressing. I do check in every evening at 9pm but within seconds hear the word gun and then change the channel.
piers needs to be fired for critizing the president with false info. he is making up numbers and is causing conflict where there is no conflict. he needs a talk show where he can give his opinion because he does not use facts. he is a hack
not a journalist, he has no integrity.
I think you made the right choice jamie, to try and push for laws every night to take away peoples 2nd ammendment rights makes you wonder what his real agenda is, or he is being pedaled by cnn to do it

HEY SM, trust me I dont need any gun training, but it is about , the right to bear arms, not my skills at the range, I believe you have some anger inside that you should deal with, I believe that the election will actually go the other way , sad but true there will be alot of votes going republican since the democrats have been pushing this gun legislation. people like me that go to a gun range and target shoot are not the problem, guns arent even the problem, this is actually a mental health issue , and there is a real need for security at schools, I am not the one to say what that is, electronic, dogs, gaurds but that is another conversation, and remeber your opinion is only your opinion, but you are not old enough to have any real worthwhile insight on anything.

Believe it or not sm I respect your opinion I just dont understand , what you think in this legislation will help, criminals dont go to gun stores or gun shows to get guns, they get them from the black market. Creating a registry just makes a list that will become public record ,that thieves can use as a shopping list , and it also lets them know who does not have guns , burglars like to know that , look at britians burglary rates before the gun ban and then after . The ASSAULT WEAPON BAN HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE , and with no positive results, I too would like to see a safer world , but the proposed legislation would not help.SHOW ME SOMETHING THAT WILL AND I WILL SUPPORT IT.and why do i get the feeling you are in britian .

You know, Newt Ginrich just proved stupid tonight on piers morgan apr 4th saying" criminals wont go buy guns legally and register them because theyed be denied, YES hit the nail right on the head. they'll go buy it ( or steal it) fron a private gun owner, skipping that registry step. Nobody, especially me is saying take away are guns and the right to bear arms, Im buying my wife a hand gun. Id teach my teenagers to shoot them. But we all need training, we need to lock them up ( and know our kids are more clever than we are), We need every gun registored and every law enforced entirely, by every agency!
P.S. before you take any thing that I say too serious understand I mostly just like the argument, deep down all this legislation is going nowhere we all know that so Im just enjoying the debate .
