Bob Baer on the bombs used during the Boston Marathon : "Somebody knew what they were doing"

As new details emerge on the bombings at the Boston Marathon on Monday, "Piers Morgan Live," welcomed CNN contributor, Bob Baer to the program.

Viewing newly released photos of bomb fragments and shrapnel from the explosion site, Baer, a former CIA Operative gave his expert insight and perspective on the findings.

"It's a pressure cooker," explained Baer. "You can get on the internet and look this stuff up," said Baer about the bombs.

"But the point is, the actual practice, I really do believe somebody knew what they were doing."

Also on the program, CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent, Dana Bash updated viewers on reports that a letter addressed to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Mississippi had tested positive for ricin.

Bash also clarified that the timing of the letter and the Boston Marathon bombings is coincidental. "At this point, law enforcement officials - senate officials are saying that they do not think that there is a connection."
