Tonight: "Piers Morgan Live" at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. as the manhunt continues
This evening Piers Morgan will host a pair of live editions of his CNN program – at 9 p.m., and then again at 12 a.m. – as authorities continue their manhunt for the second of the two men believed to be responsible for Monday's bombing at the Boston Marathon.
In the early morning hours, a series of violent incidents lead to the death of one of the suspects, as well as an M.I.T. police officer. Twenty-six year old Tamerlan Tsarnaev died at Boston's Beth Israel hospital after being shot and wounded by police, while his younger brother, 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev, managed to escape and elude authorities from multiple local and national agencies.
Only hours earlier, it was an iPhone photograph of the younger Tsarnaev that gave the public its best image of the man initially known as "Suspect #2." A Florida man – David Green – snapped the picture on Monday, and spoke live with Morgan at midnight, sharing the process he underwent in offering the photo to the FBI. Tonight, Green will be in New York, joining Morgan for a face to face interview that comes on the heels of an early morning chase through Boston and surrounding towns.
At present, the city of Boston is in a state of "lockdown," as a manhunt for the younger Tsarnaev is underway. Tonight Piers Morgan will use his two hours of live television to welcome a host of experts and analysts, all charged with keeping viewers up to date on the latest in an incident that has sent Massachusetts into a state of terror for much of this week.
Having aided the program through the various steps of the investigation this week, former CIA Operative Bob Baer will join the show again this evening, lending his unique brand on expertise and insight. Additionally, Sierra Schwartz – who attended school with Dzhokar Tsarnaev – will speak with Morgan, adding another layer of context to a uniquely polarizing story, while Watertown resident and an eyewitness of last evening's event, Jennifer Comeau, will offer her first-hand account.
Anyone who has information as to the whereabout of the missing suspect is urged to call the FBI hotline at 1-800-CALL-FBI. In the meantime, stay tuned to CNN on television, and via a live website feed at CNN.com/live1.
Then tune in this evening at 9 and 12 as "Piers Morgan Live" continues coverage of the deadliest domestic terror incident since September 11, 2001.

PIERS----SHAME ON US – WE DROPPED THE BALL!!! If the 1st bomber was questioned by authorities a year or two ago for possibly terrorist activity (as was WARNED and reported to us by the Russians), then why wasn't he on the radar screen? At minimum, they should have had him in their terrorist database with his PICTURE and listed as living in the Boston area. Then BEFORE releasing the bombing pix to the public they could have compared the bombing pix to the ones in their database (all the people known to have been involved in possible terrorist activity AND to be living in the Boston area). After all how many could that be????? They would have had a match and they could have apprehended (stealth-like) the bombers before anyone else was killed or hurt. The MIT security officer would NOT have been killed and the other police officers would NOT have been injured. It seems to me like we dropped the ball. Really, how good is our anti-terrorist program?????
