As Greg Ball has seemingly inserted himself into the national spotlight for a his recent social media offerings, this evening Piers Morgan invited the New York State Senator to further explain one tweet in particular:

As part of a combative interview with a guest Morgan later described as being a "weird man," Ball registered the following quotes and claims:
"Dude you're talking to a guy that supports death penalty for cop killers, terrorists," said Ball about himself when asked about how he expects to torture the alleged terroist, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who is an American citizen.
"If you met this scumbag [Tsarnaev] before he killed these people, turned people into amputees, what would you do? Play cards? Maybe I should have said it in a British accent."
And when Morgan commented on his "macho" attitude, Ball fired back, "If I wanted to be macho I'd challenge you to an arm wrestling contest."

I agree with you- Greg Ball is an *ss, d*ckhead, JERK, etc... I'm becoming agitated/furious just watching him. What a poor excuse for a "red-blooded American"! If HE is what 'being an American' is all about, then I'm completely embarrassed and ashamed. This Greg Ball "politician" was so incredibly rude and condescending. Poor excuse for a role model. Taye- I have a great amount of sympathy for the victims and their families & friends- One reason I wanted to watch this episode of Piers in the first place.
Though you probably feel different from me, I ALSO have sympathy for "the bomber's" family and friends. They have lost someone dear to them, are being judged by the world for something they likely had no control over, have a 19 yo that will likely serve a life sentence or be sentenced to death (I realize he brought that upon himself), and so on...
A little girl lost her father (she is innocent in all of this too!) because of a choice her FATHER made (suspect #1). This child didn't make that decision herself! She didn't have control over that! It amazes me how people can talk about how bad they feel for the people who lost this or that, but are unable to have that same sympathy for everyone who has been negatively affected.

I really cannot believe Greg Ball is a State Senator. He was absolutely shameful, rude, obnoxious, and frankly not well spoken. He reminded me of the typical tough talking bully that just repeats themselves louder and more aggressively but has no real support it. He made me ashamed for Americans. We all want to protect our children, but using bats is not the lesson to teach. The fact that he cowarded off during a commercial, only confirms who he really is.

Senator Ball displayed the kind of classless hostility one has come to expect from right-wing ideologues today. The man is a throwback to the days of Joe McCarthy. He told Morgan that he should ask the President about policy the next time he "golfs or plays basketball" with him. What kind of disrespectful crack was that, which came from out of nowhere. Ball appears to suffer from a Napoleonic complex where the little guy feels that he constantly has to demonstrate how tough and brutal he can be. Any sign of empathy or dignity would betray a weakness. So he tries to act like a belligerent little thug on testosterone medication. Piers Morgan is a talk show host. Ball is a state senator. The standard for behavior should NOT be the same. Ball is an embarrassment to the state of New York.

Not sure what you were trying to prove last night, but you succeeded at one thing: proving that you are a lousy guest. Really?). Your "playing cards" line fell flat...twice. And did you really call Morgan "dude", as in "seriously, dude"?
