Whether you fell asleep early, stayed out too late, or simply want to watch it again, we realize it's not always possible to get your entire "Piers Morgan Live" fix from television. As an answer to this, we offer the below labor of love – "Piers Morgan Live, Rewind" – dedicated and designed to getting you caught up and connected to the conversation.
On Monday evening, CNN reporter Erin McPike updated "Piers Morgan Live" viewers on new developments in the Boston Bombing investigation including the finding of female DNA on one of the bombs.
"The FBI has been saying for the past week that they've been very interested in Katherine Russell," said McPike, addressing the question of whether or not the DNA may be that of Russell, the widow of bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
McPike then described the scene earlier in the day when "FBI investigators took what appeared to be a DNA testing kit," from Russell's parents' home, where Russell currently resides.
"They [FBI] came out with a couple of different things, including a clear plastic bag that had scissors and some other things that looked like a kit inside it and it was marked DNA samples."
Additionally, Monday also saw the return of attorneys Tom Mesereau and Gloria Allred for a new segment on "Piers Morgan Live" called "Law & Disorder".
During the segment, Mesereau and Allred focused on the legal issues involving the Boston bombing investigation including the timing surrounding the reading of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Miranda Rights.
"We're at war with terrorism," noted Mesereau. "So the question of how you get information without violating someone's civil liberties, not jeopardizing their right to due process and a fair trial is an ongoing debate and it's why our country is so great."
"He wasn't Mirandized from the get-go, from the very beginning," observed Allred. "And that would have made a stronger argument that maybe something more needs to be done in order to have an exception to otherwise giving him Miranda rights."
Also on the program, 9/11 widow Ellen Saracini shared with Piers Morgan her reaction upon hearing plane wreckage remains found behind a lower Manhattan building last week are now being identified as a wing flap from one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center.
"Solemn reminder how vulnerable we still are," said Saracini. "These plane parts are being - still being found, they're going to be looking for human remains. You know, we have a bombing in Boston. It just goes to show that we're far into this reality about terrorism. It's still happening."
