As new revelations in the Ohio kidnapping investigation emerge, including various methods Ariel Castro used to hide his actions from his own family, on Monday evening "Piers Morgan Live" welcomed WOIO reporter Ed Gallek back to the program.
Having been covering the story since its inception, the Cleveland-based journalist detailed the recent movements of the man accused of raping and holding three women captive for roughly a decade:
"Since this guy [Castro] is under suicide watch, jailers are logging everything he does every ten minutes," reported Gallek, speaking live with Piers Morgan from Ohio. "And what we're noticing, some real oddities."
Holding a list of the 52-year-old's activities, Gallek shared specifics:
"At one point deputies noted they saw this guy walking around in his cell naked," said the guest. "And then another time – this is really bizarre – deputies saw him trying to floss his teeth with strings from a mat."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as Gallek revealed some background information on Castro, including the fact that in 2005 he lied under oath during a court case, claiming he "lived alone" in the house, despite holding the three women as prisoners for nearly ten years.
