READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Amidst the aftermath of a bizarre story which has landed an Arizona woman in a Mexican prison, this evening "Piers Morgan Live" invited Anna Soto to share her personal perspective and insight.
One of the children of Yanira Maldonado – the woman accused of attempting to smuggle mass amounts of marijuana out of Mexico and into the United States – Soto told Piers Morgan the charges are entirely out of character:
"No, no, no, no, no. She is not that kind of person. She would never – I don't think she has ever even tried a cigarette in her life, or even drank a beer," said Soto. "She's one of those [people] that tries to stay away from those kind of people or those kinds of things."
What the clip, listen to the interview, as Soto goes on to share exactly what she knows regarding her mom's Mexican arrest, adding "all I know is that she's innocent."

Why is there not anyone in Mexico smart enough to figure out that holding Yanira Maldonado is costing Mexico millions and millions of dollars and pecos in tourism money? No one is going to want to go down there anymore.
