Jesse Ventura on running for president in 2016: "As an independent, you don't want an incumbent, so the office will be wide open"
On Monday evening "Piers Morgan Live" invited Jesse Ventura to return to the program, welcoming the former Minnesota governor and his trademark brand of candid commentary and unique insight.
Willingly taking a seat on "The Grill," the longtime WWE wrestling personality explained why 2016 would be the perfect year for him to run for president:
"As an independent, you don't want an incumbent, so the office will be wide open," he surmised. "I'll tell you right now what I would run on: I would run with no political party and I would give the people of the United States of America the opportunity to elect their first president since George Washington – the father of our country – who does not belong to a political party."
Having penned the literary offering "DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans," Ventura has long been an outspoken critic of the United States' current two-party system. Speaking live with Piers Morgan, the man once known as "The Body" suggested he's not alone. And as such, he likes his chances in a race for the White House in three years time:
"I believe the time is right for that in 2016. I believe on that issue alone, you would have a great chance to win the presidency because there are that many people out there who are completely disgusted with both of these political parties, and would have the chance to make history and elect since George Washington, with no party affiliation, if Jesse Ventura ran."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as Ventura goes on to offer his thoughts on the Internal Revenue Service, explaining why "the IRS is once place where I don't go represent myself."

I would positively vote for him...I have NEVER EVER VOTED for a president in my entire life (68) but I would vote for him. I believe he would truly be an HONEST AMERICAN POLITICIAN, something we haven't had since Regan was president. JESSE.....go for it !

I think he should run for president in 2016, he would make a good president.
If Ventura could siphon just 5 percent of the vote from disgruntled tea partiers who won't support Republican (as in RINO to them) nominee Jeb (immigrants are more fertile) Bush, he could save the country from another neocon Bush. Even though that would elect another Clinton. Better a second Clinton (or both of them again) than a third Bush. NEVER another Bush!

You know why Jeb celebrated Hillary with an award? Because his family appreciates Killary's psychotic, bloodthirsty criminality.
I doubt that after proceeding with his case against the dead warrior, Chris Kyle's, WIFE and CHILDREN, a single person would vote for him.
I would definitely vote for him. Regarding the Chris Kyle issue, the man was lying and as committed to our armed forces as Jesse is you really believe Jesse would say to Chris Kyle at a SEALS heavy bar that some SEALs deserve to die? Come kn that fake story is so far out there for Jesse and his pride for the SEALs it's obvious. Now as far saying stuff about how corrupt our government is i definite believe Jesse would have said that, but this is why i'd vote for him. He's got a backbone.
