Donald Trump on Edward Snowden: "I have no doubt that he's a bad guy"
As the national debate between privacy and security continues to rage, and while Edward Snowden draws both ire and admiration from the American public, this evening Piers Morgan invites renowned television personality and business magnate Donald Trump to share his candid perspective:
"Well, let's start off with Snowden, I think he's bad news," says Trump, of the 29-year-old man recently revealed to be the man who leaked details of the NSA's data-mining program. "I've watched him, and I think he's having a good time. And of all places he goes to Hong Kong for protection. That in itself is a little bit interesting, because that's not a place where actually he should get that kind of protection, but it looks like they're going to protect him. So, I don't know what information he's given them, but it could be very serious. He's a bad guy. I have no doubt that he's a bad guy."
Joining the program on the eve of his 67 birthday, Trump admitted that the line between protecting the country, and digging too deeply into American's personal files, data, and interactions brings about conflict and confusion:
"There's no question about it that this is a mess, no matter how you look at it, it is a mess. Where do they stop? How far do they go? What kind of power do they have?" pondered the man often referred to as simply "The Donald." "A lot of people are very concerned about how far are they going to go, and that's what they're talking about."

Are you kidding? Asking Donald Trump about important questions of the day? I am entirely impressed with his credentials as a developer, and appalled with his credentials as a human being. Shall we convene the housewives of New Jersey, Los Angeles, the cast of Jersey Shore? Until this moment, I thought this was a serious broadcast. Sad.

WHY, PRAY TELL WHY, ARE YOU EVEN ASSOCIATING WITH DONALD TRUMP WHEN HIS SONS USE ALL TYPES OF GUNS TO GO KILL ELEPHANTS AND OTHER WILDLIFE SPECIES IN AFRICA FOR FUN!? OR DO YOU JUST LIKE ASSOCIATING WITH RICH, SNOBBY WHITE MEN NO MATTER IF IT REVEALS JUST WHAT COWARDLY HYPOCRITES YOU AND THEY REALLY ARE? ....DO YOU KNOW THAT ELEPHANTS ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED INTO EXTINCTION – OBVIOUSLY YOU DON'T REALLY CARE......it's a shame because now I don't feel like watching your show anymore. I used to admire your stance on gun violence in America but now I've lost all faith and interest in you Piers.
Uh... Piers Morgan is a journalist. He interviews all sorts of prominent and influential people. Regardless of what you may think of Donald Trump personally, he's still somewhat relevant in American politics. You think Piers should refuse to interview Trump because his children went on a safari? Or that Piers shouldn't associate with anyone who he disagrees with politically? Beth, I think the hypocrite is you.
Let's see .... Donald Trump ran for presidency.....he still may. Sooooo.....of course he is in favor of the Government knowing everyone's business. It is to his favor to abuse these records to victimize people for profit. That would be Donald Trump.....wouldn't it?
The challenge: take a month off from the internet , see If you can do it , seems a good idea considering what is coming to light , big brother is collecting info on almost every popular site , search engine , and hand held device and we have yet to find out the full extent of the damage . It's just as a nice little reminder to yourself that you don't really need the internet or some device to connect with people or to get things done in your daily lives , I used the internet for gaming , media , making friends(with mixed results) , and for a little bit hoped to use it to find that special someone , seems it has done nothing but be a major distraction with 0 results so it seems I don't need it anyway .
I hope others take the challenge just to show that we are not slaves to technology , we are not slaves to anything , we write our own fates not on computer screens ;but in stone. If you take the challenge , commit to it . Lets see how strong you really are, ever notice that most technology makes you look down , when we have always looked up at the stars to inspire us ? share this post with friends and family see If they can do it ,even If you don't take the challenge yourself, this is a non-violent protest not to be taken out of context and blown up to extremes, lets send a message, good luck and God bless America.
