According to an HBO spokesperson, actor James Gandolfini of "The Sopranos" fame has died in Italy.
A veteran of more than 40 films, Gandolfini is most-widely known for his iconic portrayal of crime boss Tony Soprano in HBO's hit show "The Sopranos," a role which earned him three Emmy Awards.
Gandolfini's death comes while on vacation in Rome, Italy, and is said to have been the result of a possible heart attack. He was 51 years old.
