With the fate of George Zimmerman now in the hands of six Florida women, this evening "Piers Morgan Live" invites a collection of analysts and experts, as well as a live audience, to discuss the individual elements and specific pieces of information which will factor into the final decision.
On Friday morning attorney Mark O'Mara offered roughly three hours worth of closing arguments on behalf of his client, and with the jury expected to deliberate deep into the evening, tonight Piers Morgan will invite such accomplished legal minds as Judge Alex Ferrer, Judge Glenda Hatchett, defense attorney Jayne Weintraub, and CNN's Jeffrey Toobin to share their reaction to Friday's day in court, while also offering predictions for the case's outcome.

O'Mara just showed that Trayvon had a reason to be concerned because George Zimmerman was driving a regular vehicle and was following him! If he had those lights and Neighborhood Watch sign on his vehicle then Trayvon Martin wouldn't had been afraid! if some ashole is following me at night in a truck, in the dark, in the rain, I'm not going to lead him straight to my door step. That could put the rest of my family in danger!

Perhaps I missed it, but why wasn't it mentioned that or emphasis put on the fact that Zimmerman was told NOT to pursue Trayvon Martin? By doing so ,Trayvon didn't have a choice but to defend himself and stand his ground!. It's a terrible law if you're allowed to use that law,especially if you were instructed NOT to pursue. He followed with the intent to do harm because he knew he had that stand your ground-law on his side. Borderline premeditated murder!
Come on people, George zimmerman was doing what he was supposed to be doing, Watching out for the neighborhood. And now he is a racist??? It's a tragedy for sure but the prosecution hasn't proved that he was trying to kill this guy. Just kind of tired hearing that he is a racist or that he planned on killing him as soon as he got out of the car. Yeah he profiled him but as a burglar or someone doing something that they were not supposed to be doing.
Zimmerman never identified himself – why wouldn't Martin feel threatened.
If TM feared this man (GZ) that night while he was being followed then why did he not call 911 for police help he had a cell phone and instead he choose to talk to a friend? That doesn't make sense to me because if I were being followed and was scared I'd call 911 for police help instead of talking to a friend.
What O'Mara said today most of us knew from the beginning. This situation was rasially charged from day one.

This is a court of law. In American courts, you are a boy until you reach age of majority, or 18. So they are not wrong to call him a boy. Visit your local high school and you will notice 17 year old boys that look older, younger, or about their age.
Piers can take any side he wants. If you watch his show, he regularly invites guests from both sides of the table to debate issues on live TV.
The country needs to discuss how such a tragedy could happen, and what can be done to prevent the next one. Stand Your Ground law is asinine.

I know the Judge wouldn"t allow it, but why does everyone forget the forensic computer guy talking about the guns that Trevon was selling, using a phone app that hid the texts from everyone except the expert.

Neither side know what happened during those 4 minutes (stated by Marc O Mara) – therefore they cannot convict Zimmerman If they do, it will be appealed to.
Perhaps in this case, no one knows for sure.
Moving forward, Florida should carefully consider Stand Your Ground law when someone can end up dead and the other person walks free because no one knows what happened. Trayvon Martin isn't here to tell his side of the story. In reality anyone charged with murder could claim Stand Your Ground and walk on the absence of any concrete timeline of events.
As I am currently watching tonight's episode and the panel all think that George Zimmerman had the gun out of his holster while he was on the ground, my question is...who assaults a man who already has a gun drawn on them? Stick to the law as written and not emotions or sympathy for the Martin Family. Also this is NOT about race people...

And the rest of us are wondering why people like you ask inane questions. GZ did nothing illegal. TM did. TM attacked and didn't even wait for a conversation. He broke his face with the first punch. Illegal. Pounded his head into cement. Illegal.
Driving, walking, getting out of your car and even being a racist (if that's your thing) are ALL LEGAL. Why didn't TM call the police? GZ did. GZ did not attack. TM had 0 injuries other than the gunshot wound. Nothing.
TM was currently on suspension from school and sent to visit a father he rarely saw. He was supsended 3 times from school for POT, graffiti, and burglary tools. His phone was littered with texts about smoking pot and fighting. He lived with his uncle in Miami but somehow his parents saw fit to show up to court after the homeowners settled a wrongful death lawsuit with them for a million dollars. They are delinquent parents who contributed to this young man's death. He had no direction in life.
Everything before the shot doesn't matter. If someone is on top of you beating your head in who woundnt shot. A 17 year old can fight just like someone older.
Actually it does. If you follow the cause and effect sequence of the events, it was quite clear that Zimmerman chose to escalate the incident and take the law into his own hands.
By your logic, a drunk driver who destroys a guardrail could could walk away without criminal charges because all he did was wreck his own car and public property. The fact that he was drunk obviously influenced his driving, but doesn't matter because it happened BEFORE the actual crash.
What happens in a series of events that lead up to a potentially criminal event DO MATTER.

It appears like this was a case of two idiots being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Zimmerman should have stayed in the car, and Martin should not have confronted Martin. One other point, Piers Morgan keeps suggesting that Travon Martin is just a teenage boy, as if because of that George Zimmerman couldn't be afraid of him. But wasn't Martin 6'3" and Zimmerman 5'9".
In American courts of law, Trayvon Martin is indeed a boy, since the age of majority in this country is 18. No one is lying when they call him a boy.
Some 17 year olds can pass as adults, others still need time to physically mature. Regardless, if the legal standard of adulthood is 18, Martin is STILL a child.

Look no further than Florida when the Zimmerman trial is being held. Many African Americans used vote early in the well established tradition of "Souls to the Polls". Florida changed its election schedule so that this tradition couldn't continue. I'll bet my bottom dollar that if new law threatened the voting habits of evangelicals there would be hell to pay. Just another example of the idiocy that is the conservative movement in this country, alienating minorities, gerrymandering voting districts, and pushing an antiquated view of the country that is some 50 years out of date.

People must look at this from both sides and stop using race and age. It could have gone the other way also. Treyvon could have beaten Zimmerman to death and he would have been justified because Zimmerman came after him. If he thought his life was in danger or he thought he could have been harmed.
