Things heat up as Piers Morgan invites Larry Elder to "The Grill": "I think you're stupid!"
Amidst the aftermath of a crackling war of words that had been heating up Twitter of late, this evening Piers Morgan invited Larry Elder to take a seat on "The Grill," and the live guest did not fail to fan the flames.
On Tuesday, the radio host used the micro-blogging site to criticize Piers Morgan's recent interview of Rachel Jeantel, disputing the host's claim that his guest was of strong intellect:
So @piersmorgan describes #RachelJeanel as "one smart cookie". Sure, it certainly explains why the 19yr. old is still in high school.

Referencing Elder's social media commentary, Morgan asked a very straightforward question:
"Is she stupid, Larry?"
Choosing not to answer the question asked, Wednesday's guest fired back at Morgan instead:
"I think you're stupid for saying that kind of thing, for trying to get black people convinced that race and racism remains a major part of America when it doesn't," he blurted. "Racism is not a major problem in America anymore. The number one problem facing black people are the large number of black people born outside of wedlock."
As the live interview continued, it certainly did not become any more congenial.
"Just out of interest, how many languages do you speak," Morgan asked Elder, setting up the point that the aforementioned Jeantel speaks three.
"I don't speak ebonics as well as Rachel, if that's what you mean," came Elder's response.
Finally, after quite a bit of time spent listening to his guest shout, and dodging any specific questions, Piers Morgan simply ended the interview:
"Thank you Larry Elder," he said calmly, before introducing the next story.

Piers got tuned up by Elders! Seriously, piers is defending this poor girl by saying she skipped school a lot. basically he is saying its not her fault she is dumb.
Larry Elder is nothing but a rude,hysterical, egotistical motormouth and was a joke to listen to tonight. He could not stay on subject and kept going off on unrelated tangents. I've heard him before in interviews but tonight's display was the worst. If he were in a court of law he would have been charged with contempt.
Does it really matter if he stayed on the ignorant questions Piers was asking? " Is she stupid?" Larry Elder knows nothing about what happen that night when Zimmerman killed Martin in cold blood no more than myself or anyone else. Why do we want to give Zimmerman the benefit of the doubt and paint a picture of Martin as a trouble maker and responsible for his own death when he was minding his own business.
The body's natural response to a potentially dangerous situation is the "fight or flight" response. Martin had a predator following him for no apparent reason. He was simply walking home from the store. Obviously, Zimmerman wanted to have a confrontation as evidenced by his words, "these punks always get away." Whose to say he didn't get out of his car (which he was asked not to do) and attempt to restrain Martin until the police arriveD, since he believes that "these punks always get away." According to the person he was on the phone with Martin said, "get off of me." At that point, Martin had every right to break his damned nose. I believe that Zimmerman shot Martin after he got the best of him. Zimmerman provoked this fight and despite the verdict by a group of obviously misguided and narrow minded jurors, Zimmerman had no right to take this child's life. He is a psychopath, that is, one without a conscious, one who does not accept responsibility for his own actions, one who has no regards for human life (which is why it was so easy for him to shoot Martin), one who is superficial and deceptive, one who is a pathological lyer, one who victimizes and blames the victim – all of this applies to the long neck, long nose, dark haired and skinny attorney as well as Zimmerman's brother. None of them see Martin as a person and have the guts to be concerned about Zimmerman being a victim after he shot an innocence kid in cold blood.
Please all you non thinkers, miss me and all others who can think, with the rhetoric about this case.
ZIMMERMAN IS NOT A VICTIM. IF MARTIN HAD GONE UP TO HIM AND PULLED HIM OUT OF HIS CAR THAT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT STORY. THIS GUY WENT LOOKING FOR TROUBLE AND LIED HIS WAY OUT OF IT. END OF THE STORY!!

I like how you use no facts whatsoever in providing us with your theory. It was a sad turn of events, but the only story we have to go on is Zimmerman's. If you actually listened to ALL of the testimony, and not just that of Jeantel's, and looked at all evidence (or lack thereof), there is no REASONABLE way you could come to any conclusion than to say I'm not sure. You cannot convict someone because you think you know what happened. The toughest prosecutor in the state was specially appointed to this case and could not win. The same prosecutor that was able to convict a woman that fired a shot near her abusive husband. Zimmerman hardly fits the psychopath mold, which also does not apply to his brother or lawyer. They are defending a man who was overcharged given the evidence, and who was railroaded in the media by those who wish to push their racial agenda. Those same people are the ones pandering to Jeantel and calling anyone that points out her flaws as automatically racist.
Can you look in the mirror and say you know exactly what happened? No you cannot, therefore you cannot put someone in prison based solely on emotion. If you are upset about the verdict, do something to change the laws. If all of the people protesting this case put their energy into that, instead of urging the Federal DOJ to bring some bogus case against Zimmerman to make sure he is punished, maybe real change would happen and this kind of thing could be prevented.

Did I not say that no one knows what happen that night not even myself? This entire case is based on fantasy. When people can't fill in the blanks that is what they do, they fantasize! They make up stories that help them to feel comfortable with whatiever they believe. The prosecutor made up tales and the defense did the same. The jury happen to buy into the tales told by the defense. What facts by the way are you referring to? The only ones who know the facts are Zimmerman and Martin. Are you trying to tell me that I don't have a right to come to a conclusion because I don't have the facts which don't exist? Are you trying to tell me that I should believe a liar like Zimmerman or his witness who spoke good English and presented well but totally discount Rachel because she could not speak good English and contradicted herself just like Zimmerman did? Did the defense not present an animation of what they thought happened that night? Are you trying to tell me that I don't have the right to come up with a scenario based on what I heard and what makes sense to me? Everyone is trying to build Martin to be some kind of thug but Zimmerman some kind of upstanding citizen despite his background which is worst that Martin's background. I knew full well what the outcome of this circus was going to be but the response given by the long neck attorney and Zimmerman's brother when the trial was over was inhumane. No expressed sadness or sympathy for the family of Martin or for the death of Martin. Just a lot of rambling about Zimmerman being a victim. They got the outcome they wanted and a humble human being with a conscience would have presented in a more diplomatic manner knowing that the Martin family not only lost their son but also lost in this trial. So tell me what exactly are you trying to say?
Larry does NOT speak for the black community or any truths of that same community. He speaks for the sponsors that keep him paid and looking like a true "Uncle Tom". I totally disagree with you. I thought Larry Elder was clear and precise in his communications and covered exactly what is going on in society today. I thought Larry Elder was a total a**hole – rude, pompous, arrogant and he never answered any of Piers questions. Granted, Piers is not the ideal host, how-ever, where was Larry's manners. Unfortunately, the words I have used to describe (rude, pompous, arrogant) Larry are used pretty much to describe all blacks. Larry did not do his cause any favors last night. I am a black conservative and he does not represent conservative views. These are his own views. Further more, he sounded as though he was in a manic episode with his loud, rapid and rambling speech. His thought process was disorganized and associations quite loose. Sounds like mania to me.
How dare him try to judge a 19y/o high school kid without knowing her background. She may be special education or have some other challenges. Who knows? And no, she is not a role model for blacks but she may be in a position, with her new found popularity, to influence other teenagers with her same struggles. What was Piers supposed to do refer to her on national tv as dumb or something? She is not dumb, she has a speech impediment which I am sure interfered with her being as articulate as she should have been during trial. Even some of the smartest people in this country could break under that kind of pressure. I am sure his comment boosted her self esteem. Did you expect Piers to beat her down or something?

Given that he is an educated adult (I am assuming educated) you would expect him to be more professional. This is hypocrisy at its finest. The only reason people are going along with Elder is because he said what they want to believe. You have got to be incredibly stupid to believe that racism does not exist in America. And the fact that racism exist does not excuse what is going on in the African American community. Elders is pointing out that perseverating on a jury following the current laws, however flawed, is not the problem. It only distracts from the real problems such as black unemployment, violence and hopelessness that need to be addressed. Also, Cable news needs to stop defending Chantel. The problem is Piers hasn't lived in our communities and I doubt his home in the US has been burgled, he is not the best person to speak about this. I am a victim of burglary, fortunately I wasn't home, but I was devastated, I felt totally violated and will never forget it. The police were too busy, showed up about 5 hours later and then did nothing, but my family could be dead by then. We didn't have a gun, I never thought people should have them, but I now know why people need a gun to protect themselves from these criminal who have no boundaries. If they want to get rid of the guns, Mr. Holder needs to stop the violent criminal activity, the break-ins, the shooting of white babies in the face and wounding of the mother, the drug deals. When they stop the crime, people won't need guns.

A friend I knew went to the same school I went as the other friend and got all A's but he wanted a challenge and went to a High School that was more harder and he had a problem keeping a C so he backed out and went back to the same school because it was easier. I didn't graduate from that school but at a night school. HS diploma

I went to DPHS I dropped out and went to night school and got my HS Diploma there. I didn't drop out because DPHS was hard for me. It was because the school had enough of me. Also I could have a F but could raise that F to a C in a matter of weeks. I'm sorry how I wrote if it was confusing hope this clarifies my point. Had two friends who went to DPHS one of my friends graduated from high school with straight A's thus he received a millennium scholarship while another of my friend who went to DPHS went to LV Academy which he said was more like a college setting than DPHS which then he came back so he could graduate without any hardships.

Larry Elder raises a good point. If MLK was alive he would almost 100% agree with the fact that black community have a problem in their own race. For those other black people who conducted themselves as the stereotype and make a bad name for the ones who fall far from it. You may disagree with him but it is true that the Black community has inflicted damage to their own image by the ones who don't follow, the other ones who choose to believe like MLK that I can be anything that I want. I'm mexican, race was not put on me when i was growing up about black people but when I constantly had runs in with them. They jumped me for no reason they robbed me for no reason. but I know that not all Black americans are like that which is why I do have black friends when I should have hated them for what they constantly did to me and the other people who were effected by the several black groups of people who choose to jump us for no apparent reason. there is a problem and what Larry Elder said is the problem.
So if we all start treating and behaving toward each other based on the stereotypes every ethnic group has – and we all have them – where will that leave us? The problem is that a racist person does not see the individual for an individual – the racist person sees only the negative aspects in the group he/she hates, while very conveniently overlooking the negative aspects of his/her own group. Their group does no wrong – everyone else is wrong. Mr. Elder is doing the same thing – so because Trayvon was Black he was probably up to no good and Zimmerman had a right to be fearful, and had a right to stalk him and shoot him. Please.

I had to change to the channel to MSNBC yesterday, because I was almost physically sick by Larry Elder's words in the few minutes that I watched him, looking like someone having a drug-induced manic episode, Today, with the Rev Lee, it was disgusting as well. Both men were rude, incoherent and aggressive, wouldn't let anyone get a word in! They did not bring an ounce of intelligence to the discussion, and effectively helped to re-ignite and fan the flames of division and racism among communities, at a time when we are trying, as a nation, to use this tragic opportunity to open a national discourse on cultural and racial sensitivity.

I love your show but I must be honest. I could hardly watch the interview with Larry Elder. The man is clearly rude and full of anger. Love that he focuses on the real issues and addresses the root causes of racial profiling and actually offers solutions, instead of perpetuating the racial "victim" mentality. I actually thought Larry Elder made some good points and would have liked to have heard his opinion on resolving the problem with the crime rate in the inner city! Obviously, we need to do something different whether it's making parents responsible if their children are not going to school along with more funding and better teachers. I, personally, don't feel Zimmerman followed Trayvon because of his colour. He was not sure of Trayvon's colour when he was asked by the Police Dept. He said, "I think he's black?" I was in a coffee shop today and there were people from India, Mexican, Pakistan, Philippines and some of them had very dark skin ... no way, with a hoodie on a dark, rainy night I would be able to tell the difference. There were more Black on Black murder victims in one city (Chicago) in the last year, than EVERY White Mass Murder, Serial Killer etc COMBINED FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS.. I agree that these crimes get more press and more people are shocked at them. But that is because almost every one of these victims are innocent. Rachel Jeantal's parents are from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. She speaks French Creole, Spanish, and English. Those are the three languages. Also, Rachel has an speech impediment called an under bite, which affects her enunciation. She was ill for a long period of time as a kid, which is why she likely missed school. You and others have already made up your mind about her, but your assessment of this teenager is wrong.
I heard Piers state that Jeantal speaks three languages. It would have been nice if she could have spoken just one in court, English. I found her disrespectful and dishonest in court, she asked Mr West if he was retarded, not just once, but twice. This behavior was totally offensive in court, she now says she thought GZ could be a rapist, I think she makes things up as she goes along. Finally she has the nerve to say it is "our" time now, well thank goodness some of us are older than 19 and have respect for the law and our justice system. I for one respect the difficult job the jury did and the fear they must live with now, they struggle to remain anonymous, just like the Zimmerman family who have been threatened repeatedly with murder. If anything happens to any of these people, over 300 million Americans will be demanding justice, but they won't riot or commit violent acts to make their point. They will do it with their votes.

Rachel Jeantel is an intelligent teenager who experienced the loss of a close friend, has seen the horrendous side of life. She was set up by the prosecutors and the defense attorneys to fail. There is so much evidence that the court trial was sabotaged by the defense team of Zimmerman and the prosecutors. The moment Zimmerman left the car, he knew he had nothing to fear. He knew he had the Sanford Police force on his side. Elder avoided answering any questions, hoping he could talk over Piers Morgan so the audience would hear nothing favorable about Rachel. Elder's behavior showed only he is a rude man with mental health issues. The audience already knows Rachel did her best under the stress of the court.

Isn't there a major crime problem, or wasn't there one in Sanford, FL, prior to the Zimmerman/Martin confrontation? Wasn't George out there trying to protect his neighborhood? No, Trayvon Martin wasn't out trying to commit a crime that night but Trayvon also wasn't a choir boy. Trayvon had been in fights, was smoking some pot, was skipping some school and he had been suspended. And Trayvon Martin probably did confront Zimmerman who was following him. Trayvon wanted to prove his manhood, as so many black and white, spanish, and so on, young males strive to do. Young males try to prove their manhood all the time by fighting. I drive a school bus and I work with kids and I remember all too well how we as males need to be ready to fight at the drop of a hat to prove we are indeed men. Other males and especially women only respect us if we are not afraid to fight. This is not true of all females but it is one of the seminal reasons that women are attracted to men because we will prove we are strong or fearless or capable of defending them, and so on. But George ZImmerman was not out to commit a crime. George was out trying to defend his neighborhood. And living in Jacksonville, FL, I can't tell you just how much young black male gun crime has been committed here in my town in just the last couple of months. We had two double murders, or four whites killed by blacks in just two crimes in the last two weeks. We had a black to white home invasion where two blacks died. We had a white killed by a black at a bus stop. But just keep on talking about white racism. There's a reason white's often stereotype young black males and it's because they are committing a great deal of crime. If you don't think so then let's talk about black male crime in Chicago or Philadelphia.
What you're failing to realize is that Trayvon Martin wasn't on trial, George Zimmerman- who has a lengthy criminal past, was. You're stereotyping young, black men. So now Martin was predisposed to hitting George Zimmerman first. No one, except GZ, truly knows who threw the first punch. Don't take his story for truth just because he killed the only other witness to his crime. GZ was a punk who would have never got out of his car if he didn't have a weapon.

As an African American male and Democrat I was very impressed with Larry Elder (Republican) during his interview with Piers Morgan. Larry spoke the real truth about black America. It may not be what the mainstream media and viewers wanted to hear, but it needed to be said. More importantly, the topics Larry Elder mentioned (e.g., fatherless black families, black on black violence, the gang problem, the black unemployment rate, and high school dropout rate) need to be address at a national level. The Trayvon Martin case (which was very painful for me and family to bear) should not define black and white relations as a whole. In fact, I feel black and white relations are getting better. I do not have any problems with white people at all. I think America need to work together to solve the real problems Larry Elder talked about with his interview with Piers Morgan. Thank you Larry. I might switch over and start voting Republican because of you.

Larry Elder is doing nothing but justifying the ignorance of racists. While there are problems that need to be addressed in all communities we can't ignore the fact that Blacks of all ages are looked upon negatively in this country. I have personally observed this prejudice against children as young as 8 years old who did nothing but run into a playground as all the other children did and as all children do but the white man sitting there with his child began yelling at them that they couldn't do this and wanted to kick them out of the playground. Racists are bothered by having Blacks anywhere they are – bottom line. The Black community has produced great authors, singers, judges, CEO's, etc but overall Blacks are still looked upon negatively because some people just hate. You must realize that no matter how many times Blacks meet and surpass the standards it will never be enough for some people. Trayvon Martin was a victim, and he was murdered by a man who had a negative view of Blacks. Regardless of the cause of his prejudice he held a prejudice, and this is what caused him to follow him. Had the guy in the hoodie been white, Zimmerman would have thought he was a guy walking in the rain trying to keep dry. So Trayvon had his hoodie on, could it be because it was raining? So Trayvon was killed because black people commit crimes? Don't whites commit crimes? People aren't following white kids around and accusing them of being thieves and then killing them. I get followed every time I walk into a store and I'm a middle-aged Hispanic and usually dressed in office clothes but all they see is I'm not white.
I don't really pay any attention to people that don't have the common courtesy to follow simple rules of social etiquette. You can grab yourself by the boot straps and get an education and even excel in the world of business but until you have the decency to have intelligent intercourse with another you are no more than an ignorant intellect. Trayvon's history was not discussed because of the company he kept. He clearly hung around questionable people and the prosecution did not want to expose this. Elders is correct that so many thug type kids are running around in neighborhoods and this is the reason everyone profiles these days. People and parents need to wake up and realize this. Keep your kids away from gang banger thug types!!! We have a much bigger problem with the inner cities and black on black crimes. The rarity of a white person killing a black person is clear and people always raise the race issue when this happens, we all know the game.

I really do not think anyone truly wants to kill another human unless they are serial killers or gang bangers. I know that I would never be able to forgive myself if I killed someone in a situation like this Zimmerman/Trayvon case, but if I was attacked for simply checking someone out what choice do we have once in the situation. I have been approached by people when I have walked through a neighborhood and those people that approached me were black gang bangers, I ran because I would have been killed or seriously hurt by them. Where are my rights to walk through a black neighborhood if I made a wrong turn in an area I did not know? To Black Block Captain; Yes you should believe it. I have been in enough unsavory places to know who is good and who is bad. Yes there are many good black people and I know a lot of them. So color to me does not matter, what matters is the way people treat others. I would liked to have believed that those people running toward me were good and wanted to guide me out of the bad area. The difference I want to point out is why should I have to fear walking through any area, white or black? Why should anyone black or white have to fear walking through their own area. We have to many kids that do not have enough to do and adults still running gangs using the young to fight their battles. We should all work together to stop this crap in the big cities especially. Obviously no angel and in fact more research shows Trayvon went
to a special school that deliberately tried to handle police issues internally at
the school like suspensions instead of arrests to keep their crime statistics
low and try to keep blacks from jail, where they had their own police department. Another tidbit I found is that Trayvon was raised by his Dad’s 2nd wife, Alicia Stanley, by the time he was 4 and for most of the years after, yet there was not one mention of her. She was not even allowed to sit at the front row of his funeral. The Dad ditched her like an old piece of clothing they used up. Now the Dad Tracy and the real Mom who did not even raise her own son stand together in lawsuits and trademark patents.

You fail to state that Trayvon was on top beating GZ, how Trayvon took no injuries (other than to his knuckle) and if I can't legally shoot someone who is bashing my head and punching me, then I don't even know what the 2nd amendment is even for. If Racheal was unintelligible in her speech on the stand, so was he on the show cos he was just ranting. In my opinion, even if Trayvon was the one beating up Zimmerman, he (Zimmerman) instigated it by following him without introducing himself and if he could reach for his weapon, he had other options. He could have pistol whipped him or something since Trayvon was only armed with fists. Looking at them both, I think he could take on Trayvon physically. He didn't have to kill him. You also have to consider that Trayvon may have thought his life was in danger when an armed man approached him in the dark and decided to defend himself. In that case, he would have been 'standing his ground'.

If both Zimmerman and Trayvon were of the same race, be it black, white, or other, then this case would not have had the same impact or results. The case would have been handled more fairly with both being of the same race. Let's imagine that Zimmerman and all his white defense and witnesses were black and his black witness and defense were white. Now imagine that Trayvon and all his defense and witnesses were white. Change the race of everyone involved. Do you really, I mean really, really, believe that the trial and verdict would have been the same ?!!!!!!!!!!! I submit that Trayvon would have been charged and held in jail that very night. Five of the six jurors would never have been Black!!!! And Trayvon would be found GUILTY!!!!!!

Florida court is different from the other state courts. The Florida court system can manipulate the jury instructions to favor the defendant or the plaintiff.

Trayvon Martin had to have returned to the top of the T, where the fight began, of his own accord, rather than returned inside the saftey of the home where he had been staying– wherein he could have called 9-1-1 himself, and reported that he felt that he was being followed! (How would Trayvon Martin even have known that he was being followed, since he took off, running for the safety of where he was staying, before George Zimmerman even got out of his vehicle? Trayvon Martin could have run all the way in only about 15 seconds– by which time, the short-legged, and clinically obese, George Zimmerman would have been lucky to have made it to the T intersection, from which the darkness at the other end of the dog walk would have hidden Trayvon Martin completely from his view, even if, for some inscrutable reason, Trayvon Martin had remained in the back yard, rather than returning to the safety of indoors.)

Playing the victim does not help anyone. Unfortunately, many black Americans play that game – blaming the boogeyman for what's not going right in their life. Why can some blacks get to places of prominence and success? They work for it – that's what's missing. In our neighborhood, we have a neighborhood watch. People looking out for other people and their homes. Truly, they're Boy Scouts – people who want to make a positive difference in their own area. George didn't have to follow Trayvon (this is however, what neighborhood watch people do). But Trayvon didn't have to climb on and beat George either.
I'm torn about what happened – I have my own boys too. However, if someone was beating me to where i feared for my life – I would shoot them too to defend myself.
The sad thing is that this one case, is that it has been raised to the national level of a classic case of a race based killing – when the defense couldn't muster enough evidence of that at all to convince a jury to convict. George defended himself, his attacker was Trayvon. A sad story – but hardly evidence of rampant racism in America.

To A, thanks for your reply. When you say my story is based on speculations, I can say the same thing about yours and everybody else. None of us were there. We all have to use common sense with the information we have. The problem is Trayvon cannot tell his story because he was murdered. If Zimmerman had left his gun in the car, he would have had to do what anybody else would , fight if there is a confrontation. He didn't want to fight, he wanted to win. It's not important to me what happened in the 4 minutes. Trayvon may have been hiding so he could lose Zimmerman and then go home because he didn't know why he was being followed. That was fear enough. Put yourself in his shoes. If I'm walking down the street and someone is following me and I don't know them and it's dark, raining and I'm on my way home, my first thought is to get away, hide and do what I can to lose them. After he waited to see if Zimmerman was gone, once he reappeared Zimmerman was on his trail again and that's when he pulled out the gun, started using foul language and then shot Trayvon. I don't believe Dr. Vincent Di Maio. That's his opinion and I have mine. Even if that were true Trayvon had a right to defend himself, because he wasn't bothering anybody, and he was an unarmed teenager. If Zimmerman was so scared, he should have stayed in his car and let the police handle it. Since there was no DNA on Trayvon, there couldn't have been a fight. Zimmerman's nose was bleeding, there was no trace of blood on Trayvon or his clothes. It really doesn't matter who was on top or the bottom, if that happened at all, because either of them could have been on top or the bottom when there's a fight, but at the end of the day, Trayvon was dead and he did not bring the gun and he was not following Zimmerman. "They always get away." Zimmerman made sure that didn't happen. The bigger picture is, if your son was trying to get home and he was talking on his phone, in the dark, in the rain, in a strange environment because he was visiting his father and realizes he's being followed and tries to get away and when he thinks the coast is clear and now he starts to continue on and realizes he's still following me. What fear he must have felt. Then Zimmerman shoots him down like an animal because "They always get away." That's your 4 minutes. To say Zimmerman had a right to defend himself is ludicrous. He's the one who set everything in motion. Once he made the decision to get out of his car with a loaded gun and stalk somebody, anybody. He deserves anything he gets, but he was the only one with a gun. He wasn't man enough to use his fists. Guess what? Stay in your car!!!! Trayvon didn't have the luxury of staying in a car. He was open prey for Zimmerman and didn't even know it. He died not knowing why he was followed. Now sleep on that!!!

The media hijacked and reported this as a racial murder. It was not. The only racial slur came from the victim. He attacked a neighborhood watchman and was killed in self defense. The facts proved that in a court of law. Mr. Zimmerman was found "not guilty". Where were all the witnesses to testify on Trayvon's behalf? Teachers, friends, classmates, anyone to tell what a fine upstanding young man he was. He had a criminal record. Just because the family attorney had it sealed doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Shame on you for misleading the public and the reporting on this is inexcusable.
