Ken Hanson defends George Zimmerman owning another gun: "We'll sleep soundly"
With Piers Morgan back in his regular chair after a week of guest host's aptly filling in, tonight the British television presenter fired up his trademark interview segment, inviting Ken Hanson to have a seat on "The Grill."
The Legal Chair of the Buckeye Firearms Foundation, Hanson has been instrumental in raising funds that will enable George Zimmerman to purchase a gun.
Suggesting the recently acquitted neighbor watchman is not someone who should be encouraged to own a firearm, Morgan asked Hanson how'd he feel if history hypothetically repeated itself, and the late Trayvon Martin's older brother was to one day engage in an altercation with Zimmerman, only to end succumbing to the same fate:
"Well, if we're the ones that supplied the gun, and again remember, we provided money, not a gun," Hanson reminded the host. "But if someone is on top of Mr. Zimmerman, again repeatedly bashing his head into the concrete, and he acts in self defense, that's incredible bad luck he found himself in that situation twice. But we'll sleep soundly."
Still uncertain of Zimmerman's motives, Morgan continued to press his guest:
"At what point does he have to take responsibility for pursuing, some would say stalking, unarmed teenagers who are walking home?"
Using the law to support his argument, Hanson accurately stated that Zimmerman is an innocent man:
"Two different levels of government review have found no fault with Mr. Zimmerman's actions," Hanson noted. "We can go through all the hypotheticals you'd like to go through, what it comes down to is that he's gone through a government review."
Joining the program live via satellite, Hanson found fault with how strongly Americans felt nationwide about this case in particular, while ignoring so many others:
"The problem is, when we go out and help The Pink Pistols - a gay, lesbian , bisexual transgender group, who's being denied their gun rights, when we go up to a young African-American male in Cleveland who was wearing a hoodie who acted in self-defense," he detailed. "We go to a Cleveland legislator in the Ohio General Assembly, when we're acting on behalf of those people it's not a problem, it's only in this case, when the villagers have gone out with the torches and pitchforks that it somehow becomes a problem. This is not an issue of race, it's an issue of self defense law."

Once again Piers Morgan is trying his hardest to trip up one of his guests. Zimmerman hasn't got his gun back because it was evidence and it has a process to go through before released. Idiot Morgan and all the race baiters have no truth to stand on. They keep talking about "if". If doesn't exist. They are trying to limit a mans rights that was found to be not guilty and not to be a racist. He still has his Conceal Carry permit because he is innocent. To Piers Morgan. We don't persecute innocent people. You have absence of malice on your side so you have the right to be stupid and irresponsible but only up to the point of when your actions effects a person in a negative way. I hope the Zimmerman family goes after the so called news media that tried him before the courts did. If I was in Zimmermans position I would join the NRA, NAGR and the USCCA. They have insurance and funds to help those of us who defend ourselves and are arrested because of a mob mentality. I hope that Zimmerman goes through some training and through some psychiatric help. Even cops go through it when they have to shoot another human being. One more thing Piers, Stop trying to create racial tension where there is very little. If our young aren't given the tools needed to live an honest life they will get their knowledge from gangs and criminals.

Please Mr. Morgan, check your facts versus opinions.
What Piers ( the man without a country) Morgan uses is the drop in "gun violence". Like other violence isn't as bad. The criminals don't need guns. The population is defenseless. They use knives and bats or pipes. What is the average citizen suppose to do? Tell the criminal to wait before they attack because you are waiting for a " bobby". Your own country disowned you because you were found to be very dishonest. We don't want you here either. So take a hint and go where you are wanted.

I don't find the same numbers of there being 39 murders in 2011 that Mr. Piers Morgan claims.

One question I have never heard addressed is exactly when did George Zimmerman remove his gun from his holster. We know he didn't do it when he was allegedly laying on his back in the grass with Trayvon sitting on top of him. So when? It sure seems to me that it would be a very important point.

The sadest part of this whole Zimmerman case is that I now have heard two interviews by Mr. Morgan and that is time I will never be able to get back from being wasted.

Ken finally got me to watch Morgan's show. Morgan is a smooth talking head and Ken did more than hold his own with the transplanted Brit. If he doesn't like the Second Amendment protections of America, he should go back to merry old England and live under the monarchy that we had to defeat in two wars to be rid if! Way to go Ken!

Well, the well known media & some government representatives started the problem with this verdict and disapproved their own laws, so it became legal to people to smash it down, and turn it into racism because they have been told so. Some people just believe what they watch and read, that is how you create a mess with followers as a brilliant Sheppard.
Thank you for standing up to the "gentleman" from the Buckeye Firearms Foundation. George Zimmerman is a racist and his actions to the Martin family are sickening. I think that a boycott of Florida's economic and tourism endeavors should be put in place as a punishment for the "stand your ground laws". Did Zimmerman really help the family in the overturned SUV?

it seams to me that CNN is failing to report on the news that George Zimmerman is not a convicted murderer , he was found NOT GUILTY !!!
