67-year-old great-grandmother on San Diego mayor Bob Filner: "He hugged me and kissed me...I was appalled, I was shocked"
As new accusations of inappropriate conduct are levied at Bob Filner, on Thursday evening "Piers Morgan Live" welcomed the latest person to come forward, 67-year-old great-grandmother Peggy Shannon.
Joining the program via satellite, the woman who works at the Senior Citizens' Service Desk in San Diego City Hall explained her uncomfortable interactions with the mayor:
"He started coming by the desk," she began, "talking to me about wanting to do a date on the weekend, and I knew he was engaged."
Joined by her lawyer Gloria Allred, Shannon then went on to reveal arguably the most-surprising details of all:
"Another day he came up to me without any warning when I was outside going home, and he hugged me and kissed me," she told Morgan. "I was appalled. I was shocked."
A well-known women's rights attorney, Allred supplied additional context to the disturbing behavior Filner is said to have engaged in:
"She also alleges that he came up to her and made a comment such as 'do you think I can go eight hours straight?' That, of course, was taken to mean possibly a sexual comment," Allred clarified. "The mayor says that he can go eight hours straight. We just want him to go. We want him to leave the office of mayor and resign once and for all."

OMG!! I spewed coffee all over my desk twice – once when I saw the image and then when I read Elliott's response. I guess Filner could have some type of fetish, because quite a few of those that are accusing him of inappropriate behavious fall into the lower tier of the "10" score.
