Roughly two weeks since a nationwide manhunt for James DiMaggio, the man who abducted 16-year–old Hannah Anderson after allegedly killing her mother and brother, came to a dramatic close, on Thursday evening "Piers Morgan Live" invited Anderson's relatives to share their emotional reactions.
"It's very hard. I don't feel it's really sunk in yet until maybe after the funeral," said Christopher Saincome, Hannah's maternal grandfather, and father of the late Tina Anderson. "It just seems like a bad dream."
Anderson's aunt, meanwhile, Andrea Saincome, admitted to disbelief after learning of the heinous crimes committed by James DiMaggio, a supposed close family friend:
"I have no idea exactly what he had been thinking," she told Piers Morgan in a live interview. "He had to have been just losing it."
Watch the above clip as Hannah's other aunt, Samantha Saincome, praises the young teen for her strength during this intensely trying time.
